Is it just me or does Michah's gf look very, I don't know, weird. When they're next to one another she's always got this weird crouched posture, like she's a giantess trying to act shorter, I don't know how to explain it but it's weird. And she just looks very strange to me. She has very blocky features or something.

I've read she's 6'2", so yeah, she has to crouch to be the same height as Micah (who's 5'11").

She seems to be trying to shrink down a few inches.  I get it, but long term doing that isn’t good for your posture.  She should stand up straight.  Or, I suppose she could have a medical condition like scoliosis. If so, please pardon me and my apologies to all.

Micah's GF does look odd. 

That awkward conversation between Ethan and his sisters was...something. "It was never about cooking three meals a day." Dude, everybody heard what you said. Just because you realize that everyone thinks you're an ass doesn't change it. 

Looks like the Ethan/Olivia divorce was really the only interesting thing about this show. Ever since it went "official"(on the show), it's been a snoozefest. 

Oh yay, we still get to watch Moriah act like she's never been outside the Plath cult....

Still absolutely convinced that Moriah's "biggest heartbreak EVER" was a married guy.

• There's something about Micah and Victoria that doesn't seem right. Is it that they're having a "showmance"? 
• I have no idea why Ethan why discussing his marriage with the youngest daughters. I guess Lydia joined them to climb the tree at some point?
• Olivia and her sister visit a farm so they can milk a cow. I got nothing.
• Moriah meets a best friend we've never seen before for the Strawberry Festival to tease whatever the hell happened to her final relationship there. I suspect those HEBEL tattoos gave him the wrong ideas about her. 
• Micah has more chemistry with Will than Veronica.
• Well, that sex-ed party was weird. Almost as weird was seeing Micah's friends (who hadn't heard from him since he moved to FL) there. I have to wonder if sex toys were sold after the cameras turned off.

Her facial features are quite masculine and angular, and combined with her constant crouching next to Micah this all appears more pronounced maybe? I don't know, they're just weird together and something is very off. If it is a showmance that would explain a lot I guess. That whole beach scene was soooo CRINGE! Wow. It's like they don't even know each other.

ETA: Those little girls looked do awkward with Ethan, a grown ass divorced man, whining about his life to them. These people have zero appropriate boundaries.

I am here for figuring out what is going on with Micah and Victoria.  I agree that they are very awkward together - beyond what I would expect when someone is filming you for a tv show - because Micah has been super awkward in his solo talking heads when he talks about her.  He keeps using language that seems so off - like, "She captured my heart."  "She dragged me to (whatever city they're living in.)"  There's more, but I'm forgetting them.  They seem to be strangers pretending to be in love - or what I also thought is that they're already married but not admitting it (less likely).  Also Micah's eyes appear dead and lifeless when he talks about her but that seems to be his default now.

They remind me of a "couple" on a prescription drug commercial, playing at being carefree on the beach or giggling at the farmer's market while they choose the perfect strawberries, with the voice that speaks over them listing the potential side effects.

I'll be honest, I was sort of watching last night but even Olivia's segments were boring the hell out of me. In fact, I looked up at one point to see the giant plushie vulva and I knew it was time to switch off this garbage.

About the only thing that could salvage this nonsense is if we learned that Veronica was a trans woman, and/or one of the kids came out to their parents, because I would be interested to see how Ms. New and Improved Look at How Cool and Free-Spirited I Am Now Kim and Mr. Hey Kids Don't Fuck Up Like Your Mother Did Barry would handle that. They want to give us the appearance that they've learned so much and are so worldly and open now, but I suspect they're really not. Not that I'd wish their scorn on anyone else given how damaging they are.

I think the issue with Micah and Veronica isn't that she looks odd, it's that they are so awkward and unconvincing together.  She seems pretty to me, but the slouching and awkwardly trying to pretend they are in love just casts a strange aura over everything.  When Micah talked about how he had dated around, I got a little hesitancy there.  I wonder if he experimented with more than women and that freaked him out.  There's just something off there. Oh and one more thing: Micah telling her she looked prettier without glasses made me want to smack him.  I too wear glasses so I can see and men like Micah can just get over it.

I wasn't surprised that Ethan felt the need to talk to his younger sisters about his divorce.  That is one way fundie parents control the older children.  They tell them that they are setting a bad example for their younger siblings and if the younger ones go astray, it's all the older child's fault.  It's messed up.  I have less sympathy for Ethan, though because of his trying to rewrite history over what he said to Olivia.  He can claim all he wants what he meant, but what he said was pretty clear: women have certain roles that include cooking him three meals a day.  Plus, he seems to have forgotten all the ways he made Olivia feel that he didn't care about her like ignoring her texts for weeks on end while he hid out working on cars.

Olivia's sex ed session was just embarrassing.  This seems to be a thing with reality shows right now like the old painting and drinking wine thing was a few years ago.  I agree it was a sales party to sell vibrators.  I wonder which of the "friends" was in the MLM or whatever it is.  I was amused that the producers realized that they had to explain the presence of Micah's two "friends" at the party.  I had forgotten that Olivia ever met them.

I should have read the whole thread before I messaged you basically the same thing! LOL! 

I still think Micah's basically the houseboy at Veronica's beck and call, but if they are truly in a relationship, it's an incredibly awkward one. Yet again he was oddly defensive and competitive with her like he was at the mud run thing with his brother. I'm also wondering what he's told her about his "fame". Girlfriend acted like he couldn't walk down the street without being recognized. Yeah, maybe in Cairo where the whole town's known him since birth, but everywhere else, not so much.

I could see this too. Maybe he dipped his toe in the boy pond and freaked the hell out.

Yeah, I got that feeling too. It wasn't the first time, either. I also get a weird bromance feeling between Will and Micah, but maybe it's just me.

They just get weirder and so strange.  I think they want to hang onto this tv show but really they GOT nothing and are oh so boring!

Veronica on the beach in a dress towering over Micah was a big wth!   Micah has really good looks but that's all.  No personality and no education or job and we're surprised he looks goofy most of the time just like Nathan.

Something is really off with Veronica.  She seems maybe ten years older than him.  Maybe he's her boy toy!   They hid her to make her reveal exciting.  Not!

I suspect Kim and Olivia are trying to get something going because the rest of them are so boring.

I’m tall, was 6’ at my prime before I shrunk an inch.  Veronica is uncomfortable appearing to be taller than Micah, and I wonder if she wasn’t a shy outcast awkward kid before she recently grew into her looks.  I bet she feels really awkward on camera.  
 

I agree that there’s something insincere about how Micah talks about their relationship and to and about her.  Like he’s not convinced. Well, he’s young. 
 

I recognized Micah’s friends right away and wondered how they’d explain it.  Good job, show. 
 

And Ethan and his Eeyore self can take a seat with his attempts to explain away his belief that all women should be in the kitchen.  He’s really a a yokel.  
 

And Moriah with another great big heartbreak dramatic tragedy.  That’s all she has.   I think she is so pretty but is definitely playing a character for the cameras.

If Veronica IS older (and I believe she is), she's the WRONG older woman for him.  He needs someone who's interested in spending time with him for enjoyment, but also helping to create the (perhaps) kind and sophisticated man he could be.  Hey!  Maybe that could be a spin-off show for Micah. Like a reverse "My Fair Lady."  He sure is cute, but he doesn't have a clue.

She's 24, he's 22. But she has her nepo baby career going for her. He has, what, fence building?

Ethan talking about how much he loved his childhood at the farm.  Please, he barely had to study and spent his time outside while all the wimenfolk catered to his needs.
