dizzyd August 27 Share August 27 Self sabotage. Yeah, I don’t think this is going to be a successful season even if she picks someone next week. 4 Link to comment

We might actually get to know something about him now since we knew nothing about him or most of the guys from this season besides the fact that he’s a pretty face, so if you’re response is who’s Grant, that’s a very valid response. 5 Link to comment

She’s not even getting a chance to self-sabotage because they’re all just trying to beat her to the punch. I guess Jonathan “wins” by default at this rate, so no wonder why she pulls a Kelly a la 90210 and chooses herself. 2 Link to comment

When this all began, back in the stone age, I thought it was refreshing that Jenn didn't have vocal fry. But the upspeak has worsened as she has gone on her "journey" and it is excruciating. She also has a very limited vocabulary, which she trots out for every guy. He is literally saying Jenn owes him for everything he's giving. That is not love and that is dangerous. Rage alert! 9 3 Link to comment
tennisgurl August 27 Share August 27 (edited) I don't know if this season has a happy ending, everyone on this show needs to work on themselves before they can really get into a real relationship. Its so weird, I had pegged Devin as the frontrunner from day one, but now Jenn is turning away from him to focus more on Marcus, who to me has never seemed like he would be our winner. It looks like Jenn is repeating the patterns she has been talking about all season, chasing after emotionally unavailable men who string her along, as soon as she picked up on Marcus not being in love with her she was totally in love with him, even being the only guy she said she was in love with. Jenn is really getting the best trips, those dates in Hawaii looked incredible. The waterfalls! The shores! The Rays! Those glowing rays looked magical, that must have been the most amazing experience, no matter how this show ends that would honestly be worth it just for that. I'm so not sure about Devin, one second I'm on his side, the next I'm only seeing red flags. Jonathan has always blurred into the background for me, even with only three guys left. You could just call this season "The Bachelorette: Daddy Issues." Almost everyone have massive issues surrounding their bad relationships with their dads, its sort of fascinating. It seems like the person that has the most chemistry with the guys and who they've spent the most time getting vulnerable with is Jessie. I wouldn't blame them for giving their roses to him next week. Edited August 27 by tennisgurl 9 4 Link to comment

Is that why she said "lean into his (my) feelings" about a dozen times after Molly said it initially? Or are the script writers just getting lazy. Speaking of scripted lines, Devin's "better than Pete Davidson...in every way." Mad standup and sketch comedy skills, eh? Good for him! Edited August 27 by Lone Wolf 2 Link to comment
Ivana Tinkle August 27 Share August 27 Devin always seemed to be super confident with what he and Jenn had so his sudden "I need her to love me too" bit seemed like the producers grabbed him, put him in one of those A Clockwork Orange eyeball opening thingies, and made him watch footage of her making out with other guys for hours while occasionally offering an eye drop. 7 Link to comment

Devin may be more like Pete Davidson than Jenn realized. Pete has been very open about his mental health and Borderline Personality Disorder that stems from his father’s death in 911….he was a firefighter who never came home from work as he was at the Twin Towers when they fell, and young Pete has always had abandonment issues. He attaches/falls in love quickly, but when things get tough, he cuts and runs before he can be abandoned again. Sounds a lot like Devin. 5 2 Link to comment
LuvMyShows August 30 Share August 30 I noticed something on Jenn's morning-after ITMs. They showed her without makeup with Devin and Marcus, but not with Jonathon. I wonder if she and Jonathon didn't do much fooling around on their overnight. And why on earth did the live audience gasp so hard when Jenn didn't choose Jonathon? We had already seen her tell the other two that she loved them, and she hadn't told Jonathon, so why was the audience so surprised? Or maybe it's just that the cue cards said, "Gasp in surprise", so they did! 1 1 Link to comment

When you are in the audience of one of those shows, you are lead through all the reactions before anyone even comes out on stage, filmed, and producers cut in the reaction shots that further their narrative. 1 2 Link to comment
