Be prepared to be disappointed! But fun along the way.

That makes me sad…I love shows like Poirot, Murder She Wrote, Shakespeare and Hathaway, Brokenwood etc. And find them more difficult to find

One of these days either I will get to Toronto (Toronto, right?) or you will come to Salem and this will come to pass.

Agree…we really aren’t all that far apart and yes Toronto!!

I had a psychic reading today.  It was fun and we had IHop before.  I need to breathe deeper (do breathing exercises or yoga).  Our dog that passed away a couple of years ago is still around and plays and communicates with our other dogs.  I need to be positive about my start up.   I will reconnect with my former friend who went down the Q rabbit hole during COVID.  My friend (who is the reason I went), wasn’t thrilled about her astrological reading, but hers came with a charting binder.

Jasmine’s level of instability is concerning.  Very bizarre.

You have to hope its acting.

Ed, you are not a problem solver.

Good to know. "Death in Paradise" is a new favorite binge around here, ridiculously complicated murders but beautiful scenery and well acted. Houseguest and I will turn it on and barely pay attention to it, because all you really need to watch is the last ten minutes, when the detective unravels the nefarious and wildly confusing crime. But there are funny bits and the supporting cast is very good.

Longtime favorite of mine!

I love Brokenwood, I'm making my way through it piecemeal, trying to make it last. Houseguest likes Father Brown. I started Midsomer Murders, its always a go to when I need something to watch.

I was the first person at my local CVS to sign up for the newest Covid vaccine. I’m traveling to Italy in two weeks to visit a friend who has moved there. I hope she meant it when she gave me an open invitation.

That sounds like a very positive reading! And IHOP too? Sounds like a perfect day.

I ping pong between cozies and gritty police procedurals. But I only like the British ones.

Love those two. Watched the first season of McDonald and Dodds and My Life is Murder. Recommend both of them.

I LOVED McDonald and Dodds. Tried My Life is Murder but didn't like it as much. Maybe I'll give it another shot. The Chelsea Detective is also good.

How does it work in the US? Essentially in Canada it is like the flu shot except we get it twice a year….once every three ,months if high risk or a senior. I got my flu shot and COVID shot at same time in October

Yes, the updated formula was approved Thursday. The drug companies were ready to roll it out and my CVS expects it to be on by Friday, possibly earlier.

I have a punch card.  When I get the next shot, I get free ice cream.

I think they are trying to get it in the same rotation as an annual flu shot.

Very broad and stupid comedy but it makes me laugh ….Benidorm! British show about an all inclusive resort in Spain. Benidorm is notorious for its British holiday makers!

Prime Video but i think they only have later seasons. I saw a few beginning seasons several years ago and kinda forgot about it. Rediscovered it. For those times when I just need to laugh a bit.

Screaming and drinking.

Yeah they shouldn't have screamed at Loren and Alexi for leaving early. They left a few hours later at the most. I thought it was like a day that would have been more understandable.

In the US they’re recommending it once a year for the general population, you can even have it the same time as your flu shot. But you can have it as soon as four months if you’re at high risk.

McDonald and Dodds is also very very good, I enjoyed it a lot. If you did a procedural, I loved Scott and Bailey, and No Offence. Badass women all around!

So they weren't even spending the night, but those three bitches felt the need to bash Loren and Alexi from going home to pick up their kids and go to work?

I don't know if I really trust Manuel, but it seems he actually worked when he was in Ecuador and, if I recall correctly, traveled to neighboring countries to work. Ashley is being a bitch and I can't even imagine why she would want a non-working mother fucker for a husband. And good for him saying he won't miss out on his kids' lives for her. She also should be speaking English with him.

Sophie is a dim cow, but the Spanish impressed me.

I think I might have that on my list, I'll have to run right to Prime and check. I have both Britbox and Acorn, so I have hope for the earlier seasons.

I found two more seasons of The Great Pottery Throwdown on Youtube; now THERE was a shot of wholesome that I needed! I've seen every episode of The Repair Shop at least three times so I needed to mix it up. And if you like that brand of wholesome, Dom from the Repair Shop has is own show, Make it for Market, where he helps artists and crafters make the transition from amateur to professional with the help of mentors. Very entertaining!

Have an amazing time in Italy! Don't come back with a 90 day fiance.
