Meitalia is 110% certifiably batshit crazy. Girl is a human carbon cluster of disaster and saltwater tears. James is a moron to get entangled with this level of crazy. If he were smart he'd let her leave, then call it off and divorce her. And anyone else thinking her alleged chronic illness is more like chronic Muchhausen's by Proxy? She really is out of bounds on all levels. This sort of person is not entertaining to me in any way. It's sad and annoying AF.

I think a lot of his hair looks like metallic grey/silver spray paint, around the edges of where his real hair line ends and also a coating sprayed all over it.  I wonder if its texture is sticky, crispy or what.  Either way, it can't be nice to run fingers through, doubt it's even possible.

Statler/Dempsey: In my younger, single days, vanning around Europe for a summer (not the rest of my life!) would have been a great adventure, but it would be planned out to the T financially and logistically, `Any flakiness and the deal's off. They're the opposite: "Oh well, we'll figure it out!"

If these two were bumpy in Dempsey's shoebox of a home, they're not going to get on any better when surrounded by the Alps  in that van.  

James/Metallia:Metallia may be the Indonesian Jasmine, or worse, but James is a true jerk.  He quits his own family business basically without notice (and how many elevator technicians are there in their neck of the woods?)  He hasn't told his parents that he's moving to Indonesia, and hadn't told his own brother until now.  This kind of  jerkiness from James doesn't seem to be old news for the brother, either. 

He had a golden opportunity when he took Met to the airport-just put off coming, over and over, and finally divorce. 

If James is a blubbering boohoo now, just wait until he's in Met's home stadium with her (probably) tyrannical father making banana chips (like potato chips?).  

Shekinah/Shiny: I'd rather see an entire show around Apollo than any more of these two.  He's cheating, she's an idiot, point blank to me.

Why did I start watching this show again?  I have no patience for any of these people--they're foolish and/or delusional.

The Icelandic man might be okay.  At some point, didn't I hear him suggest he and whatshername Corona don't yet know each other well enough for permanent commitment?

 

Maybe the Irish couple will be good-natured and realistic and lots of fun.  🍀

That is what I thought.  She clearly has a different perspective on their relationship.  It is a bit crazy to take that plunge without a firm understanding of the relationship.

I don’t understand how Statler can not know the exchange rate from dollars to pounds. She works for a logistics company. I have worked in logistics for twenty years and do currency conversions daily. She doesn’t need to be exact to have a ball park figure on the amount. I was yelling at the tv!

"Statler" is lazy and selfish and blames her anxiety and ADHD for it. I would think people with anxiety would try to get as much information as they could to manage that anxiety. And it's NOT THAT HARD to convert dollars into euros (or pounds). Your phone can do that. Easily. She doesn't want to do this. Period. And Dempsey should cut her off and live her best van life alone.

What is wrong with Dempsey? She seems pretty level headed and normal. She has seen how selfish, obsessed, and irresponsible Statler is, so why is she this eager to latch onto that? Are there no somewhat less crazy women available in the UK?

I will say two things in Statler's favor: She looked very nice in those talking head interviews and so far she's not bragging (lying probably) about her sexual exploits.

There are plenty of apps that will do it for you, just input the currency you have & it will tell you how much it is in the currency you need. I know because I have one on my phone, and guess what it's called, yup it's actually called "Currency", so easy I bet a caveman could do it.

Yes. Inky or whatever did say he didn't know her well enough, which is fine, but this girl just left everything she knows for a guy who sounds like he's not even ready for a monogamous relationship with her!
