I think the scenery is the only thing that distinguishes it from all the other shows that follow the same formula.

It's basically simpler than the brightly lit scenic shows (like H50 or the new surf show) because it's a one guy show vs an ensemble.

And it's often got really nice cinematography because it's in the forest rather than the city.

But other than that, it's the exact same show as every other show with a hero who solves a case a week.

So, it's simpler and prettier than other shows that do the exact same thing. It's probably easier to follow when you're tired, because there are fewer characters and you don't get eye strain from trying to see in the dark.

I mean, I watch it, so I'm not saying people who watch it are making a mistake.

I'm just surprised that so many people prefer it over other shows that are less like empty calories. I guess maybe everybody is tired, and if that's the case, I can't say I don't understand.

I watch many shows with my sister. It's up to me to select shows, and it can be a challenge. I'm more open to unconventional, violent, and profane shows. She likes comfort. If it were up to me, I would quit a few of the shows we watch together, including Tracker. But it's getting harder and harder to find content that she'll like.

I assume that Justin Hartley has a big fan base. He was one of my least favorite characters on This Is Us, but I do think he's likable here.
