  1. We will see how they do in the ratings next week. I hope you are right and I’m wrong. I don’t have a lot of patience for Buck anymore. I like him but he’s so frustrating. I’m more an age where I would think of him as a son rather than a peer and if it was my child, I would wonder when he’s ever going to grow up. This could mature him. Hopefully it will be a positive outcome and the fan base who supports it is larger than those who will be disappointed (not at the gay/bi story but at the way the show is going). If someone watches for the rescues, it seems like they are focusing too much on relationships and less on the action. The cruise ship story was an exception.
  2. Who said therapy was successful? His behavior doesn’t show success. He still goes from one bad relationship to another. Stalking Eddie and Tommy was creepy. Hurting Eddie shows he’s stable? He’s still a mess and a new relationship isn’t going to fix him. He is getting a mature love interest but what does Tommy get? Why would a confident, mature successful man want to be with Buck? I understand what they are trying to do but the writing isn’t there. I love this show and I don’t want to see it get cancelled, but going soapy on viewers is not going to get them decent ratings. I worried they rushed this story and are setting themselves up for a ratings fall. The season is too short and they didn’t have the time to set this up in a plausible way.
  3. Am I the only one who felt they screwed up the entire episode? Buck has always been promiscuous with women, and now suddenly with no warning or lead up except nearly crippling Eddie the week before, he’s gay? Is he also going to start sleeping around with men now too? He is desperately in need of therapy before he makes another big life decision. Jumping from one kind of relationship to another isn’t cool, it’s sad. He should resolve the fact that he nearly died and before that, he had a brother who died and no one told him until he was an adult. It seems like they are so eager to give him an exciting new story, no one realized the man is floundering and grabbing at lifelines. I’m glad his sister and best friend are on board, but doesn’t anyone realize how fragile he is? I predict the Tommy relationship could go very badly too. If it doesn’t, it shows how unrealistic the writing is because in real life, it would not go smoothly. The episode seemed rushed and fragmented. Karen had good reason to fear the new foster child. I’m glad it worked out but they were given very little information about her before she moved in. I have nothing else to say because I don’t remember anything more about the episode. Those two stories were handled very strangely.
  4. I am so sad this show is in the final season. When was it announced?
  5. Delilah was around 15 and a sophomore when the show began which means if they were following a one year per season timeline, she would have turned 16 sometime during that year, 17 in season 2 and 18 this year. So she should be a senior. When she was looking for an internship, that is usually a senior activity, or maybe junior year if they were stretching it. In any case, she should graduate this season.
  6. I would like to see Delilah join the team and become a superhero like her mom. College seems so boring compared to the excitement going on in her personal life. I love Aunt Vi. Doesn’t everyone want an aunt just like her? But she’s too old for all this danger and upset in her life. I have mixed feelings about Dante going back to his job. He can do a lot to help them from the inside, but he would be so much more if he was part of their team. We waited almost a year to see them rescued. The actual rescue was….nothing. I could, have rescued them in the same situation. I expected a much better resolution. Michelle is the enemy. She tried to kill Robyn by fire and then by cutting. She’s not a good person. I don’t ever want to see her again. Another vote here for the case of the weak format. CIA makes a good backstory for Robyn but ruins the show on a regular basis.
  7. What I read at the time is that he was protesting that a producer left the show or was fired. Then a few months ago I read that he wants to leave the show. I don’t remember where I read it so it could have been speculation, not fact, just what was said about his original reason may be too.
  8. Powell can’t be dead but it sure looked like she was. The officer’s name is Gabriel. They are only going to have 13 episodes this season and next week will be a continuation of last night’s show, which means only two of the main characters and a dead or alive Powell.
  9. Every season the cast turns over. I’m past caring who is on the show and focus on the stories. Lots of action this week, same old villains. I couldn’t figure out who to empathize with until it hit me that no one was good in this episode. I didn’t even remember Corey until Remy visited him at the end. Does Remy need all this family drama? I prefer Nina who leaves Scola on a different show and the baby with a nanny we will never see and gets into the action. At least we know who she is from watching FBI. I’ve called her Barnes for so long I didn’t remember who Sheryl is for a second.
  10. That could work but I thought Taylor wanted out.
  11. Oh no, Hobbs! I thought, cool, they are adding a new field agent. Then they made him fumble around and killed him off almost immediately. He didn’t even want to follow the guy. Whose idea was it to let him go into the field without at least a quick refresher course on how to approach a suspect? He couldn’t have been more awkward. I’ve noticed that with every show I saw last week too. The strike ended and they were filming right away. The scripts needed more work.
  12. If Kelly is leaving the show they need to find a plausible way to break them up. I’d rather see them split than have her pretending he’s somewhere else when the actor is gone. We don’t need another Brett- Casey long distance relationship.
  13. I can’t wait. It’s been a long time since last season.
  14. Who replaced Kylie in the office? Did they forget there is no one at the desk anymore?
  15. The scripts this season seemed rushed and predictable. Maybe because they had to hurry to film after the strike.
