Same.  Can someone explain why Helen?

Based on Yam Yam's explanation, they saw her as "too smart" and therefore a threat and figured once she's gone, Sarah has no power, since Helen was her ally. So if they lose again, sucks for Sarah. Except it's clear Carolyn isn't opposed to booting Carson.

Thank you!  Love how you explained that, kind of person by person.

Awww Carolyn and Yam Yam are adorable together.  But most of all I love Matthew, my hometown hero.  So impressive that he built that challenge puzzle in his back yard.  Carson was impressed too.  Bet those two Survivor super nerds will team up if they both make the merge.

I feel like that's insulting Sarah by saying she's not smart lol (and I'm not directing it at you obviously, but their logic that Helen was smart and therefore more of a threat in their eyes). And in reality, booting Sarah would have meant Helen had no power, either.   Unless they want to possibly target Carson and think Sarah would have been more open to it than Helen.

I heard Sarah say something about not having her vote, but I missed if she said anyone else knew or not.

I am very snake phobic.  I used to enjoy climbing trees because I thought that was a safe outdoor activity, the PacNW wasn't the jungle, after all, and only jungle snakes climb trees.  Irrefutable child logic!

Then there I was, up in my favorite climbing tree, back perched against the trunk reading my book when I saw the damn snake in MY tree.  I'm lucky my fear reflex was to freeze and cling, and not wig out and flail.  I wasn't all that high up, but high enough.  However, the snake was lower in the tree than me,  squarely in my path down, and he wasn't budging, no matter what sort of shooing motion I made or shake of the tree I did.

My shriek piqued my mother's curiosity, so she came over to see what's what.  When she drew close, she spooked the snake, which thankfully retreated down and out of the tree.

It was utter betrayal.  I never climbed another tree.
