That was interesting and intriguing. Overall not a bad entry into the horror genre. It managed to string together a lot of negative topic issues into an entertaining, if not exactly coherent story.

It seems strange that the guy would want to destroy her life so completely and publicly just to be with her. But, I guess that is what it takes to make that conclusion seem logical. When the guy mentioned that scenario earlier, I had it in the back of my mind that that is where the story was headed.

Madison Iseman as Sam, a young mortician

Cameron Cowperthwaite as Charlie: a grave digger and death removal tech

Spencer Neville as Jesse, Sam's boyfriend

Sara Silva as Dani, Sam's friend

Jessika Van as Poppy, Sam's friend

Chelsea M. Davis as Jules, Sam's friend

Jeff Doucette as Mr. Henderson, Sam's funeral home boss

Definitely one of the better episodes. For me it felt original. I didn't like the guy destroying her life so she felt that she had no other options but I liked their dynamic before that when they were getting to know each other and trading death facts. Both actors sold it and I felt like they had charisma.

Too bad they couldn't just be owners of their own funeral home instead of ending up in an early grave. Prior to the necro incident she seems like she was great at her job.

I initially thought he was a ghost. Glad they didn't go that route.

I thought he was going to be a zombie, lol.

When the name of the episode is Necro, you know there is going to be corpse sex (even though technically he was not dead). Still tough to watch. There have been some pretty gross episodes really. It's not as bad as the boil sucking episode, but no.

I thought Sam's backstory of spending three days with her mother's dead body was sad.  I didn't hate this episode.

That was . . . odd. Not exactly a "horror" story, in that it wasn't the least bit scary. It was just strange.

And I still think Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck need to ditch Manny Coto and find another writer.

This was probably one of the better episodes, at least I didn't really know where it was going for most of the episode. Its too bad the guy ended up publicly ruining Sam's life, maybe they could have run a mortuary together and been happy surrounded by corpses, but maybe even that wouldn't have been enough. I kept waiting for the reveal that he was a ghost or zombie, but I like where they went with it, even if it was pretty fucked up.

I thought when she got to the graveyard that it would end with a murder/suicide, but I didn't see it going down like that.

It wasn't written by Coto though. Probably that is why it was better than the rest of this crap.

I don't buy that Sam couldn't go anywhere without people recognizing her from a viral video. That was security camera footage and her face was barely visible. If you just ran into her at a Starbucks or saw her walking down the street you wouldn't know it was the same person, there is nothing distinctive about her to really stand out, and not everyone in the world would have seen the video.

I'm curious at how the video went viral? Charlie somehow snuck it into the wedding montage but did he also put it out on the internet? I agree that you can barely see her face in it.

I had a feeling she was going to shoot him in the end but I was rooting for them to not die and just be that weird couple obsessed with death.

I got the impression that once she was identified there were other pictures of her that circulated in various articles on the story once it went viral. It's not hard for me to believe that people would know who she is.

That being said, I don't think it would be impossible for her to get a job afterwards because she could have easily established that the other person in the video was very much alive while they were being filmed.

Well, I just watched that. That was weird and I'm pretty sure that I didn't enjoy it. But imagine going to a wedding and instead you're treated to necrophilia. Still wouldn't be the weirdest wedding I've been to, but I digress. I once again asked myself, why do I watch this show

I watched this episode last night after posting that the only two episodes I liked this season(so far) were Drive and Facelift.    In large part because i like those kinds of stories.   Now the morning after I still am not sure if I like this episode or not.     I liked the main two characters and the story was interesting.   Two people so obsessed with death they were actually more comfortable around dead bodies then live ones.  But one of them trying to live a normal life until her life is basically destroyed by an unfortunate incident that goes viral.    Maybe it’s the ending I didn’t like.   I kinda liked Bloody Mary as well UNTIL the ending.   I think that is the major issue with this series it has trouble landing the ending.   I think this would have worked a lot better these two lovebirds living a life of isolation among dead bodies because they had nothing else.
