Just woke up and everyone is in party hats and the first thing I think is, Is it Rockstar’s daughter’s birthday?

Michael is getting into bed, but first he whispers to himself about needing to win the competition. He says that he has thrown the only competitions he hasn’t won so far, and “they have no idea what I can do”. Including screw up your own game, it seems. Because he claims he also threw the last comp “so [he] could be paired with Brittany.” And be thrown right up on the block, because nobody could see that coming, right?

A bunch of them are deciding where they’re going after the show. They want to take a vacation together, as a post-jury reunion. Daniel suggests Joshua tree, but “just kidding”. Indy wants to go to Singapore. Terrance says he doesn’t have Singapore money. They decide on Hawaii. Just them for the first few days, then family and friends can join.

Please. After being locked up with these people (or any group of people) 24/7 for months, the first thing I would want to do is run far away from all of them. Maybe in 5 years I’d be up for a reunion. Maybe.

Joseph is complaining about all the hair on the bathroom floor. It looks like someone cut their hair and didn’t sweep up after themselves. Bed crumb queen Jasmine finds it “disgusting”. Daniel just wrinkles his nose a bit and doesn’t say anything. It was probably him.

Kyle seeks showmance advice from Joseph, Monte and Turner. Alyssa’s been flirting, she’s pretty, what should he doooo?

Monte and Joseph are like, think of your game. This could go south. What if you don’t even like each other? (What if you do, and she takes you from us?) Do you even have anything in common (Mormon boy)? Where could this possibly go after the show?

Kyle has decided: no showmance. So how does he turn Alyssa down gently? Should he say something to Jasmine?

Monte, Joseph and Turner: NOOO!!

Kyle doesn’t even know if Alyssa’s that into him, or if it’s just Indy and Jasmine pushing it. But then he recounts an episode where he was talking to Taylor and Alyssa was throwing the dagger eyes (as relayed by Pooch). So oh no, what if she goes all psycho?

In the end, it’s decided Kyle will bring Alyssa to the HoH room for a talk. Which Turner assumes will be a fuck, because Turner.

Turner thinks the festie bestie twist was introduced because production wanted to put a stop to the boy/ girl divide. Monte disagrees, it was supposed to happen earlier but things (Paloma) happened.

They don’t think it’s that divided anyway. They agree that neither Daniel or Michael are really with them. But they feel more comfortable about Michael’s loyalty than Daniel’s.

The guys think Ameerah is very smart, maybe the smartest person in the house. They are positive she’s a superfan, even though she claims not to be. That makes them nervous.  They think Michael is smart, but they don’t know what he was thinking by partnering with Brittany. 

Turner says he made Top 25 in casting last year, and that’s when he started studying the game. The others assume he didn’t make the final cut because Travis got his slot.

Ameerah, Nicole and Daniel wonder who is in the HoH room. Definitely not Kyle, he goes to bed early. They assume Michael, Joseph and Turner. Ameerah goes to look around the house and see who’s missing.

On the HoH monitor, the guys see Ameerah walking around. They know what she’s doing. They’re scared of her.

There's a lot of decent reads in the house this year, more so than most years, which makes the players with awful reads (Pooch, Brittney and Taylor) stand out even more. 

Michael is a weird one. He obviously has a lot of the house pegged, because he's very smart, but he's also extremely egotistical, and, buddy, that ain't the way in the BB House unless you're, like, a suuuuuuuuper jock.

I take a break for awhile then check back in and damn, Kyle, Monte, Joseph and Turner are still talking! It’s 5am BB time, don’t these people ever sleep? 

They want to bring Michael into their group because of his superfan knowledge. They think he can help them. They are also open to bringing Brittany in, as an extra vote. 

They’re still focused on Ameerah and the danger she poses to their game. Early on, she told Joseph that the women’s game always fall apart because they latch on to a guy and get discarded in the end. So he knows she is all about keeping women strong and together. They’re still talking about taking out Taylor— unless they decide to recruit her, because she’s smart— but now they are looking for a reason to get people to support a target on Ameerah.

They decide they need a new name. Oasis was stupid— seeing an oasis in the desert gives people hope, and why do they want to give people hope? Maybe Desert Storm? Inglorious Bastards? No. Trojan Horse? Ringleaders? They are at a loss. Nothing’s clicking. They start to give up, but then someone says: We lost Pooch, what about The Pound? They all love that—We’re the Pound!

Like when Marcellas in BB3 was on the block, won the veto, thought he was safe - didn't use it on himself - and they evicted him.  Stupidest game move of all time.

Why would Michael want to protect someone that the house wants to get rid of.

Everything about the festie bestie twist is speculation right now. They weren’t told much and we’ve been told nothing. Hopefully, Sunday’s episode gives us clarity.

But they did seem to get more info about it today like I said above; the veto winner’s pair can override their decision and that the person of the pair that doesn’t get evicted is not guaranteed safety next week.

I like Ameera too, but I'd rather her go than Michael. Honestly, I'd rather see Brittany go UNLESS it would affect Michael negatively because of the Festie Bestie twist.

On Twitter, Tiffany is taking credit for this twist saying it's a copy of the Cookout alliance, with the partners and all.

I never liked Tiffany. Always thought she was way too full of herself.

Joseph, Kyle and Monte are turning out to be smart and savvy players. (Turner’s mostly along for the ride, as far as I can see.) Ameerah is the smartest of the women’s group, and they see that. If they get rid of her, I think there’s a good chance the women’s alliance falls apart.
