Why would it be top secret? And I would say yes, you fight against Thanos in IW or Endgame you get a bunch of extra privileges, like no taxes for life, free drinks at any bar, free university tuition, and in Bucky's case since he is also a WW2 vet free access to operational zones of military bases. 2 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/116783-s01e02-the-star-spangled-man/page/6/#findComment-6697455

If that grenade had been live, he'd have gotten himself killed before he could even become Captain America, so he lucked out that it was just a test. If it HAD been live and Steve hadn't thrown himself on it, a bunch of soldiers would have been killed. That's what I always assumed. A body isn't some kind of grenade shield. You throw yourself on something that explodes and wouldn't your bones just become shrapnel? swanpride April 3, 2021 Share April 3, 2021 No, they wouldn't. It would limit the blast radius. Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/116783-s01e02-the-star-spangled-man/page/6/#findComment-6698694

Quite a few Medal of Honor recipients have been soldiers who saved lives by falling on a grenade. A few years ago there was the story of one who survived. Zonk April 4, 2021 Share April 4, 2021 So the new Captain America isn't a super soldier, right? If so I'm calling bullshit on him using the shield like that. No ordinary human could. It's always funny seeing shows or movies set in germany. At the terrorist hideouts there were flyers on the wall. Fine for the most part, but there was one that said "Erhalten Autoprobleme? Ruf Hank an.". That is not correct german and it's clear that somebody just put "got car trouble?" into google translate. Then of course there was the big blue Autobahn-sign on a rural street. Couldn't they get some orange signs? Or was that supposed to be an Autobahn? It had cars driving in the same direction on both lanes. But then where were the other two lanes for cars to drive in the opposite direction? There was nothing for miles. Then the bus stop sign that hasn't been used in like 30 years. Probably found it in the back of the prop closet. Reminds me of the green police cars in the first Avengers movie, when the cars in the real world had been blue for years. Ah, good times. swanpride April 4, 2021 Share April 4, 2021 What got me the most was the "Osnabrück GmbH"...never knew that the city Osnabrück is now a company. But hey, they had at least the EU sign on the plates. 1 Link to comment https://forums.primetimer.com/topic/116783-s01e02-the-star-spangled-man/page/6/#findComment-6700250
