Amy may want to learn about enabling.  Michael is the breadwinner. They need to live where he needs to live for his job. It’s ridiculous for Amy to live next door to Tammy so she can assist her in eating herself to death.

Chris makes so much sense.  But, if they hospitalize her,  they need to make sure that she gets psychiatric treatment as well as the controlled food.  If not, she will gain it all back and more the minute she gets out of the hospital.

Because, you cannot lift an addict up who is actively in their addiction but they can and will drag you down with them.

Has anyone ever seen the movie Leaving Las Vegas?  The guy goes to Vegas for the purpose of drinking himself to death.  It seems Tammy is on a similar mission.

They need to understand they care about her more than she does.

So, she’s still at home gaining weight and can’t find a place that can accommodate her due to her size...is that right?

Well, that was sad.  I guess I'm glad she's looking for inpatient treatment, but she needs so much psychological help or she'll just gain it all back and then some.
