I’ll kick this thread off! In March I adopted 2 young cats - presenting Sophie (silver tabby) and Parker (calico):

Both are living up to their namesakes. Sophie is quite the grifter and gets us to do whatever she wants. Parker is becoming a mastermind, always plotting something.

Oh, Sophie just exudes sophistication and Parker has such a mischievous face!

I don't know...Sophie looks like she is up to something.  Must have just spotted her mark...

Parker is enigmatic, as usual.

I’m thinking of making a Leverage-themed meal to eat while watching the new episodes. So far I’ve only come up with a few ideas:

  • pasta (the Italian restaurant in The Wedding Job, season 1)
  • Eliot’s turkey havarti cheese sandwich from The Office Job
  • the ruben sandwich named after Eliot in The Three Strike’s Job
  • Something chicken-fried, even though Sophie hates it (The Tap-out Job)

I’m going to skip the orange soda, though. Any other ideas?

Quirky, Voodoo-esque donuts (The Gold Job)

Wine (The Corkscrew Job)

Chocolate (The Boiler Room Job)

I'm sure a whole mess of food was mentioned throughout the French Connection Job, but truffles were the star of that episode.

After finishing a rewatch, I finally figured out why I like Redemption more than the Original: No Nate. I know he was the mastermind, but he was arrogant and did not listen to the others.  He spent most of the season looking down on the others because they were criminals first, unlike him.  Yes he did acknowledge that he was also a thief but he still never listened to the team. He was the leader and the rest should follow.   While that worked at first, I prefer the dynamic of everyone being equal in the group.  While they instructed, trained and guided the new two, it was less unequal.  All that being said, every one is different and I am sure many loved and missed Nate in the revival.

Also, is there going to be a season 2?

I love both equally. There are different dynamics. Nate ran the group for the most part and a large part of it was his story. Getting his revenge and working to get through the loss of his son. I love in season four when Nate's talking to the widow in the first episode about making rash decisions and Hardison asking if he just said that with a straight face. I like the equal of the Redemption. Hardison and Eliot talking to Harry about Eliot's past. Parker teaching Breanna. The team teaching Harry too. I like how often it references the previous series in ways that make sense like Parker talking to the client who believed she was being haunted about the time she believed in psychics.

So I watched Sneakers today, hadn’t seen it since the 90s - still holds up.  I have to wonder if Hardison didn’t catch it on TV when he was growing up. 😉

The CW Sets Sophie Turner Drama ‘Joan’ and ‘The Librarians’ Spinoff for 2024 Premieres

"The Librarians: The Next Chapter" is coming to the CW sometime next year.

“The Librarians: The Next Chapter” is a spinoff of “The Librarians,” the fantasy series that ran on TNT for four seasons from 2014 to 2018 and was itself based on TNT’s film series of the same name. “The Librarians” followed the adventures of the custodians of a magical repository of the world’s most powerful and dangerous supernatural artifacts, while the new series centers on a time traveling librarian from the past who finds himself stuck in the present. When he returns to his castle, which has become a museum, he inadvertently releases magic across the continent. He is given a new team to help him clean up the mess he made, forming a new team of librarians.

Electric Entertainment and the CW produce. Dean Devlin, who wrote and produced the original series, serves as showrunner and executive produces alongside Rachel Olschan-Wilson and Marc Roskin, with Balkanic Media’s Jonathan English as producer.

PlutoTV's  "Romance Movies" (A genre I usually stay away from) is streaming "Chocolat"  During the opening titles, when the actor Peter Stormare's name appeared, I started laughing. He is completely unforgettable as that movie maker obsessed with Parker in "The Office Job."

Did anyone else catch the two Leverage shoutouts in Almost Paradise S2?

First we have Kai with "Dammit Walker!!!" (Kane's character, in case you don't watch AP).

Then, Walker with: "Let's go steal a casino" and walking out the room.

Dean Devlin dropping Easter Eggs all 'round the place.

I didn't know there was a season 2.  THANKS!!

Haha, that’s why I add anything and everything to my home page. When I see there’s unread content on something I might have watched years ago, I can check it out. (Sadly for some of my shows, when I see there’s new content, I’m afraid one of the stars has died [looking at you, Mary Tyler Moore and Dick van Dyke shows and M*A*S*H!] )
