  1. I will have to try watching this again, but I found the suspect so annoying that I only made it through the first half of the episode. One thing I am wondering, why does Elsbeth carry four big bags wherever she goes? When the show debuted last season I thought it was because she wasn't really settled, but I am stumped this year as to why she continues. I am sure there is an easy explanation and I just missed it along the way.
  2. I totally forgot to post about Jenn's ring. I don't think it is real, but real or fake it is one ugly ring.
  3. Since it is only three episodes in and an entire season has been now ordered, I hope as well that at some point Georgie and Mandy move out, and more characters are introduced. I do think that Audrey may be warming up to Georgie, and it makes sense at the moment for the couple to be living at home where Audrey can have more interactions with Georgie and maybe see that he is actually a pretty smart and caring young man.
  4. I am enjoying this show so far, and really like this episode where they showed Georgie coming up with ways to make more money at the store, and also confronting Mandy's ex. I also loved Jim mumbling to himself that he is glad he didn't shoot Georgie, and Georgie saying that Mandy may be the lucky one in the relationship. I always liked Georgie's personality on YS, and do not miss Sheldon or Mary at all. I do hope to see Missy and MeeMaw a few more times this season though. But my only complaint is Mandy's brother who is still a waste of air time to me.
  5. Not only her son, but her daughter. Big parenting fail on Katie's part. Most babysitters would ask 8 year old kids about school, their favourite games, etc. NOT about their mother's friends. Katie is the common denominator in both of her kids' conversations, and it is not a good look. I read a quote from Katie's husband that he stayed away from the others during the party as he was afraid that the FBI might raid it, and he did not want to be seen with Ryan and his friend. Lol. Though I do think he was being kind to Shannon when he suggested that she step away. I hope Shannon apologized to him afterwards as he deserved one. I wonder where Johnny J will be sitting at the reunion? I fully expect him to make an appearance as he seems addicted to the cameras, and drama.
  6. Haven't the rumors about Heather wanting to join the BH cast been around for at least a couple of years? (Since she and Terry bought the condo there, before they bought the house to reno?). The article I read was recent and referenced specifically how badly she was coming off this year, both with her castmates and the fans. There wasn't a mention of her wish to join BH, but I agree that she is desperate to join that cast. I am sure she believes that is where she belongs, not slumming with the OC women that she is so superior to. Lol.
  7. I don't know that I believe that Emily's 8 year old kids discussed Heather with Katie's daughter. In what context would the subject be raised? Maybe it was made clear on the show and I missed it, but it makes no sense whatsoever. That said, the producers are really scrapping the bottom of the barrel this season. They are as disgusting as Tamra IMO. How pathetic that they have to show decade old clips to find an episode's worth of material. I feel sorry for Shannon that her trip was ruined (IMO by production) but honestly the viewers' trip was ruined as well. And we didn't get paid a cent to consume this drivel. I read somewhere speculation that Heather might not return of her own accord next year. I can see that happening as Heather lives to be admired, and she was anything but this season. She obviously doesn't need the money, so if she isn't being admired and envied, I don't see any reason for FP to stick around. The final scene where Shannon fled and the others giggled at Shannon's cake arriving, complete with Tamra being centre stage once again, was the height of bullying. And not by Tamra, but by production. Disgusting.
  8. I don't mind that the spinoff is focusing on Georgie. I also adore Will Sasso and love every scene he is in. I hope "Missy" continues to make appearances every week as she was my fav character on YS. I did like the scenes of Georgie visiting George's grave, and Missy's visit brought tears to my eyes. It doesn't bother me that the spinoff isn't a laugh a minute. I appreciate seeing at least some of the YS family, and see how they are coping with George's passing. The big fail for me is Mandy's brother. He is not necessary, and seems to be there as a replacement for Sheldon, the annoying brother who no one really relates to. He adds nothing to the show.
  9. I have no patience for Patience. I did not enjoy the show last week or this week. I hope she disappears as if she doesn't, I may have to.
  10. If I love you, it is your fault. If I don't love you, it is your fault. That sums up Kody in a nutshell. Nothing is ever his fault. Nothing. Ever. I did love Meri saying that if Kody doesn't like failing, maybe he shouldn't have married the wrong person, one, two, three times. She also shut Kody down several times in their convo (when she wasn't picking her jaw up off the floor along with the rest of us). Great to see, and long overdue. While I did think the Christine/David lovefest went on a bit too long, it was nice to see Christine having someone fall in love with her for the first time ever in her life. There is nothing like being cherished in a relationship, and I am glad she has finally been able to experience that.
  11. Heather seems very unaware of many things. Twice she referred to the Queen's favourite chocolates as if Queen Elizabeth were still alive, rather than having passed a year and a half before this trip was filmed. I realize QEII was not the queen of the USA but she was beloved by people all over the world. Just not by Heather I guess, who I would imagine only admires one queen, the one she sees in the mirror. I was similarly amused that on the boat trip last week when the guide said something along the lines of "There is the Eiffel Tower", Tamra craned her neck to see it. Lol. I did love Jenn going hard at Tamra at the end of the episode. As usual Tamra folds when someone challenges her. Have we ever seen Tamra pre glam? Or without makeup in any scene? She is definitely looking rough and older than her age. Can't think of anyone who deserves to age badly more than Tamra. All that hate inside her has to manifest itself somehow. Ugly on the inside, ugly on the outside.
  12. Tamra's vileness can be summed up in two words : naked wasted. I also believe that Tamra has a drinking problem every bit as bad as Shannon's, maybe worse. It's one of the reasons I think Tamra is going hard at Shannon, to deflect from her own problem. Mind you Tamra doesn't have to be drunk to be vile, she just is. When your husband has to go to the host of a party and ask him to stop serving you, you have a problem.
  13. And yet Scott had the same mother, and he turned out to be an amazing person from what I can see. I don't think it is that simple, and I am also one who believes that some people are bad seeds from the get go. Personally, I know people who had horrific childhoods who have turned out to be wonderful people, and also people who had amazing parents who were bad news almost from the start. And families like this one where one kid turns out great, and the other a monster. I only watched the first half of this episode last night as it was obvious to me from the start that Kari was involved and I did not find the episode interesting. I watched the second half today, and was annoyed that Kari's sentence was half the length of her girlfriend's. It was obvious to me that Kari was the "leader" in that relationship. The fact though that the two of them conversed for a year with a non contact order shows how delusional and arrogant they were. I would imagine Kari still is.
  14. Ha, I guess as a mostly non drinker and non vodka drinker I should have looked that up. I thought Belvedere was a brand of soda. I guess Tamra is doing all she can to drive Shannon to drink. If I had to be around Tamra I might take it up myself. Obviously Shannon is still struggling, but Tamra is the one who acts like she is plastered most of the time. When will we see her licking feet or spreading herself on this trip I wonder?
  15. But Shannon wasn't drinking anything alcoholic, so take that Tamra. And Heather too.
  16. You can be an A type personality, and still be an empathetic person. (I am also a A type). Heather's empathy seems to start and end with her children. She says she moved to BH because she found OC to be conservative and closed minded. But Heather, while maybe not conservative and closed minded, is very judgmental and cold. With regards to Shannon's DUI, she made a snide comment in a TH that no one goes to a bar to order a mocktail. (Just one of many snide comments regarding Shannon). She commented that Emily's size 12 dress that she wore at the fashion show was tight. She commented that Katie's backstory was interesting but that she isn't. I know they all make snide comments, but I find Heather's to be especially mean considering she does not extend to other people the empathy and respect (that they certainly should be given) she expects others to give to her kids. I wonder what her kids think about her coldness and snide comments?
  17. I find it interesting that their are so few posts for this episode, so far. I almost didn't post as I am so tired of the endless nitpicking and fighting. In fact I almost didn't watch the whole episode because I am tired of the mean girl getting away with her actions week after week. I know fighting has been the MO of howives shows since their inception, but either it has gotten worse with no let up, ever, or I am just getting too old to have patience for this crap. It really does make me wonder what the children (not the young kids of course) of most of these howives think of their mothers' actions and interactions with other cast members. Or are they told it is all just for a storyline and ratings, and as long as the money keeps coming in, do not care?
  18. I read that Tamra said, maybe on her podcast with Teddi, that when she returned to the show that she knew she would have to "bring it" in order to be kept. It is just too bad that the producers apparently have given her no one else to "bring it" to except Shannon. The producers apparently do not realize that it is backfiring on Tamra, and in turn, them. I did love that Shannon brought up Tamra knowing that Alexis did initiate the suit against them. Tamra of course can't stand being confronted about one of her many lies. I am sure that if you added up all the lies told be cast members, Tamra's total would be more than all the others combined. I wish someone would plow that smirk off her face (and I am not a violent person). I don't understand what Heather was going on about with regards to what Shannon said about John and her accident. I did think the exact same thing as Shannon did though - leave it to Heather to make it about Heather. I also loved Heather fudging the numbers she was given about the possibility of her developing breast cancer. The Dr said that she had a 39% chance, not 40%. And that the normal number for her age would be 12%, not 11%. Maybe it is because she only recently found out that a couple of relatives developed breast cancer, but I was surprised that she was surprised. When I turned 40 my mother developed breast cancer, and two years later contracted a second type of breast cancer. I also have dense breasts, and in addition have had two benign lumps removed over the years. So I am at fairly high risk but it is what it is. I get a mammogram every year. And Heather's relative(s) contracting breast cancer is only relevant to her if it is a close relative, like mother or sister. I did want to smack Jenn for being so lax in getting her lump checked out. Can the woman not do ANYTHING for herself? Sheesh. She said she didn't want to tell her kids. There would be no need to say anything to the kids unless cancer was detected. I just can't get the warm fuzzies for Jenn because she is a clueless teenager masquerading as an adult. My apologies to clueless teenagers for comparing them to Jenn.
  19. I remember one time Robyn letting is slip that the kids were going to see their biodad. But she has definitely made it look like Kody was the knight in shining armor who rescued her and her kids. I never understood why her ex allowed Kody to adopt his kids and change their name. Made me wonder even when they were doing the scenes in the courthouse if the kids names actually did legally change.
  20. The other was insisting that Gabe and Garrison move out of Janelle's house during Covid. I do believe that Robyn is sad that she no longer has a big family, but she takes no responsibility in helping to make the family the way it is now. All she had to do was "withhold" from Kody and he would have gone to Ysabel's surgery. Or pretty much do whatever she wanted Kody to do. But she wanted him with her kids, and thought because two of hers were the youngest, that made them special. Interesting that she is pulling the biodad card, and comparing her relationship with him to Kody's with his older children. But didn't she say that after her parents' divorce her dad moved away and started another family? Sounds like she is/was trying to do to Kody's older kids what her dad did to her. I did find it funny that she keeps insisting that his adult kids need him. And at one point Kody talked about how badly the family is doing now that they are all separate. Seems to me like the adult kids are all thriving, and the three wives who are now free of Kody are as well. The only ones not doing well are Robyn and Kody. But the narcissist and his delusional wife will never see that they are, and have been, the problem.
  21. It didn't make sense to me that they wouldn't just let Justin leave, then knock on the door and get Tonya and the baby. Why would you want two people in the front yard that you now have to deal with, you'd think someone might hear something if both Justin and Tonya were in the front yard and two people were trying to murder one or both. Or maybe it just boils down to neither of the killers being very bright. I understand that Justin's parents blame Tonya, but by extension they are also blaming his son. That is so cold hearted. Their grandson is already 8 years old, and Justin's parents seem fine with making no attempt to have a relationship with him. Maybe Logan is better off without them in his life.
  22. Just when I think I've seen it all ........ I haven't. Like others, torturing Justin to get Tonya to come out of the house made no sense at all. There does seem to be a piece of the puzzle missing. Like others I was shocked that Justin's parents have nothing to do with their grandson because they blame Tonya for Justin's death. You would think that they would want a relationship with the only part of their son that is left. I did like Bailey's parents and that they did not sugar coat her involvement. All in all a very strange case, which I was not expecting at all at the start of the episode.
  23. It is only Alexis's lair. Johnny J still has the same place he had when he was dating Shannon. Alexis has said (not only the show but somewhere else, because she can't stop talking) that they will not live together until her two youngest graduate from high school in two years. Which begs the question, why the big hurry to get engaged after 9 months together? I had also read that she was shopping for wedding venues. So is that for the summer of 2026 after her kids will have graduated? Or do they plan on marrying and living separately? Sounds like Johhny J had Alexis as snowed as he had Shannon.
  24. Loved Eddie hugging Ryan at the end of Katie's party. That should make Tamra's head explode when she sees the scene. Shannon's tea party was beautiful. What a great way to celebrate her 60th (and as a precursor to London of course!) I was annoyed that the howives thought she should soften her text to Alexis. I realize that they have been put in the middle, but they can thank Bravo for bringing Alexis back to the show. I can't imagine that any of them would act any differently if they were in Shannon's shoes. It was a perfect episode until Alexis got camera time. The whole scene was obviously producer driven, for Alexis's phone to just happen to be upstairs and Shannon's text to just happen to be sent at that time. Sheesh. Alexis throwing Jenn and Katie out though was pretty funny. I have no faith that Bravo will not bring Alexis back as either a friend of, or even a FT cast member. Along with her handler John. Is it too much to ask for one season where Shannon is not the target? Lets move on, to say, Tamra?
  25. Ha! This is the first time I have liked Ryan because he didn't back down from Tamra. Bullies like Tamra can only bully when they pick on someone they perceive to be weaker. Ryan stood toe to toe, and Tamra's reaction was to run. I also love that Eddie didn't run after her. I think Tamra has a drinking problem that may be worse than Shannon's was at her worst. The difference is that Tamra has Eddie to try to reign her in, and presumably drive her when she is intoxicated and doesn't have Bravo to provide her with transportation. My guess is her going hard at Shannon, other than that is her bullying MO, is to deflect from her own problem. I felt a bit sorry for Katie and Matt, but honestly, did they not watch an episode of this show (or any ho wife franchise) before signing on? The only reason to have dinner parties is to give Bravo footage of drunken fights. I am sure it is in the contract somewhere. Loved, loved, loved the producers including Heather's off camera comments to Terry. I am sure Heather admonishes Terry often, she is far too invested in her imagine as the perfect wife/mother/person to not keep anyone in line that dares to step out of line.
