  1. If I had to choose either Shannon or Gina, I'd choose Shannon all day long. Gina has always made questionable decisions to me. When she first came on the show, she was living basically as a single mother while Matt worked and lived in another city, swanning in and out whenever he felt like it. Gina was not allowed to come to his apartment, which was a big red flag for pretty much everyone, except Gina. It seems like the domestic abuse incident (and was there really only one?) was the impetus to finally open her eyes. Though I also think she is still in love with Matt and would take him back in a New Jersey minute. Then there is the DUI. Gina should be the last person lecturing Shannon on going to rehab. Whether the statement is true or not, you do not have a moral high ground here, Gina. She also moved Travis and his tribe waaaayyyy too quickly into her home. She is lucky that it seems to have worked out, but that is a lot of changes for her small kids to have gone through in a short amount of time. Good for Gina for finally getting her act together and hopefully securing a career beyond being a howife. Gina's life has been no less messy than Shannon's, maybe more so as her kids are much younger than Shannon's.
  2. I have to laugh at so many comments on Sai's fugly and ill fitting denim dress. Every time I see it I chuckle as in 1971 at the age of 14 I bought a pair of jeans that were that colour of denim with similar white stitching. It didn't take me long to realize that they were actually pretty ugly, and stop wearing them. But then I wasn't an "influencer", so what did/do I know? Speaking of Sai, at Jenna's lash event she referred to Jenna as admirable, but pronounced it admire-able. Odd. My, Brynn's story of how her ex proposed was so touching. It meant so much to her that she doesn't even know the correct name of the song that was played. Nor the correct line in the song which is not "If I could walk 500 miles" but "I would walk 500 miles". It does however fit Brynn's shallowness as a person that she doesn't know the song. I think Erin was choked that Abe didn't shut Brynn down at the party. But at the wreath party, I think the last straw was Sai (I think it was) telling her that her party was boring. I think people like Erin live to be admired and envied, and the fact that the party did not accomplish either was a crushing blow. This season is really a disappointment. These women are beyond shallow (though I can still stand Jenna) and they aren't even bringing the house or clothing porn. I loved how most of the OG howives dressed, and even Sonja Morgan and her hanging price tags dressed better that what I have seen from most of these women.
  3. I have to admit I am wondering WTH is in Heather's apartment when it is 5300 sq ft and has only two bedrooms? Now of course her closet is the size of a bedroom or two, but really, what takes up the rest of the space? The one bedroom they showed was so small that you would barely be able to walk between the bed and the dresser that was placed along the window. And why would you place a dresser in front of the window and block the view that she keeps bragging about? Also the kitchen was smaller than mine, and I don't consider my kitchen huge by any means. I almost felt sorry for Heather when she droned on that she is BACK in LA. Does she really think anyone has noticed or cared that she left? And if anyone were to call her at the last minute for a part (as if), it isn't like she would not be going to rehearsals before filming, so why would it matter if she were in OC or LA? Heather's continual reference to making a comeback almost has me feeling sorry for her. Almost. As for the rest of the epi? Same old, same old.
  4. Since I found the howives' interactions with each other totally boring this epi, I found their interactions with their pets much more revealing. Archie, as always, is shown to be a much loved family member. Is this the first time that Emily has bathed their dogs? She seemed totally unprepared for her dog shaking itself when she lifted it out of the water. That's what wet dogs do, Emily. Sheesh. And speaking of interactions, I don't know when the last time was that I saw a dog totally uninterested in its human family, as Heather's dog was. She was trying to get it to move from the couch and come over to where she and her two kids were standing in the kitchen, and the dog was not the least bit interested. Most dogs would be tripping over themselves to get to their much loved humans. If they had such a thing. So either the dog spends so much time in its crate that it did not realize that it could actually move that far, or it had no friggin' idea who these people were. Even Heather's kid (can't remember which one) commented that the dog didn't like them. I assume someone (no doubt one of people Heather hires to do, pretty much, everything) takes the doggies out for walks and bathroom breaks. I guess when the poor puppies then move to the condo where they will no longer have a yard, a dog walker will be hired to look after their bathroom and exercise needs. Now I have no problem with people who are not into animals. But if you aren't, don't get them. They should be treated as valued members of the family, and if you are incapable of that, leave them to be adopted by someone who will treat them as such. Rant over.
  5. This episode sealed for me that Jenn is as much of a dick as her dick pic taking boyfriend. We already know that she has a gaggle of children, and she has bragged about all her pets. But now she apparently has let her female cat have kittens? She apparently doesn't believe in responsible pet ownership, and in have her pets spayed/neutered? To add to her dickness, she has taken kittens only days old (they did not yet have their eyes open) away from the mother and plopped them on the kitchen counter, to be entertainment for her children. WTF? There is no reason to touch those kittens until at least their eyes are open, and they should not be taken out of the eyesight of their mother. Maybe spend a little less time taking lame pics with your boyfriend, Jenn, and do some research on responsible pet ownership.
  6. I thought the microphone pack might be what was sticking out that Sai tucked in earlier. The clip I am referring to is actually when Erin arrived (not Jenna as I posted earlier). It is at the 50.21 mark. Her entire bum is lumpy and bumpy, I don't think the pack would cause that. Or if it did, she definitely chose the wrong outfit. Obviously they all wear the packs when they are filming, but I have never seen one that is the size of someone's entire azz.
  7. It was so odd how Brynn greeted each howife as they arrived, by backing towards them, apparently to show off the back of the outfit. There was something sticking out of the top of the bottom scoop, which I think Sai tucked in. Then in another shot, I think when Jenna arrived, you could see the outfit reflected in the mirror, and it looked like Brynn was wearing a loaded diaper. It was not nearly as hot of a look as she seemed to think it was. Love Jessel's husband, who seems much more down to earth than she is (same goes for Sai and Sai's husband). Twice Jessel accused Pavel of calling her a bitch, which he didn't. What a bitch. I had to laugh at Erin saying that due to her job, she has little tolerance for B.S. Yet she signed up for a show that is known to have a lot of B.S.(no matter which franchise). I call B.S. on her statement. I am still enjoying Erin though. Jenna is still my fav, but I do think she goes a bit too much out of her way to dress down. I understand finding pants more comfortable than dresses (I do too) but would it hurt to put on a nice top, rather than faded denim? It was for a special occasion (Brynnsgiving aside). Also wasn't Jenna the one who had a dress code at the party she threw at her home? Just seems like she is trying too hard to not look like she is trying too hard.
  8. I almost feel sorry for Heather, that she thinks there is a chance that she will make a come back in Hollywood, 20 years or so after she left (supposedly) to be a wife and mother. I have no idea what Marc Cuban's latest thing is, or how Heather is involved. I did notice though the withering look she gave his business partner when she dared make a comment to Heather. It is those times that bring me back to reality, and make me not feel sorry for Heather. I did get a kick though out of Heather and Terry, in their 22,000 sq ft house, having no place better to sit while having their convo than in a bathroom. They have done this before I think. I guess it is to impress upon us that their ensuite (I assume) is so huge that it has a sitting area. Personally, that is the last place I would want to sit and have a conversation. Shane might have been a bit snarky on the outing, but Emily is exhausting! She said herself that she has no patience, and she tries to micromanage everything, right down to where her daughter should sit on the hay ride. WTF? I have friends who had bad childhoods, and they did not bring their insecurities and neurosis into their adulthood, and certainly not when raising their kids. She really should get counselling, as she may be trying to create for her children the childhood she didn't have, but may just be affecting them negatively in a different way. Even her son said that their dad likes to make jokes. She must be exhausting for the whole family to be around.
  9. You are likely right that Jenna is likely being asked by producers about her sex life. I do agree that there is the danger of her becoming one note, but that seems to be a danger with all of the new cast. I do wonder how much is producer driven as they seem to be incapable of having normal conversations. But thank you for reminding me of Brauny. Your description of her as performative is bang on. So in that way, the producers have hit a home run with Jenna who likeable and relatable. I did decide to check out LuAnn and Sonja's new show after reading some comments here. It is hilarious, and they are very respectful of the townspeople. Some of the activities I could do without seeing (catching fish by hand and the testlcle festival come to mind) but they are being good sports, and their long friendship really shines through.
  10. OMG these women are boring. When they decided to play the two truths and a lie game, I thought we might find out something interesting about at least one of them. Nope. As per usual, the truths and lies all had to involve sex. Yawn. Count me in on those who think it was producer driven, and that their "truths" and "lies" were decided on beforehand. And quite likely some of the truths were actually lies. In any case the whole convo was boring AF. Jessel's choice of outfit for dinner in was so ugly. She would have looked better wearing the Christmas tree lingerie. Has Erin never hosted before? One snack (and one which not everyone would necessarily like) when the women arrive on the first day, and no breaky the next morning? WTH? Like many, Erin and Jenna are the only ones I can half stand, but that is just weird. I am getting a little tired of Jenna's constant comparison of life as a lesbian compared to life as a hetero. It seems very dated. I am in my mid 60s and have had gay and lesbian friends since I was in high school, 50 years ago. I don't know if it is producer driven, but it does seem a bit forced and not organic. That said, I likely would not be watching if not for Jenna, as of all the women she seems to be the most real. Though its a low bar to clear.
  11. I knew (as likely everyone did) that Jermaine/Justin were not going home this week by the title of the episode. I don't know if I have ever seen an easier speedbump? That annoyed me. IMO the speedbump should have been at least as hard as one or both of the tasks they ditched. It would not have been hard to set up a task like the table setting one that required attention to detail and communication. Or at least take longer than the few minutes it took to eat ice cream. Ugh. The biggest surprise was learning that Lily is Robert Bateman's granddaughter! If that were me, I'd be shouting it from the rooftops! It took us 4 epis in to find this little tidbit out, which endeared me to the team even more. My top three is the same as Lady Calypso's, though one and two are switched. But I really like all three. There really isn't a team I dislike, but like DEL901, it will take me longer than an episode to get over Justin and Jermaine ditching two tasks. This was a fun epi to watch as I have been to the Malahat Skywalk (it is stunning!) and the castle in Victoria. I love that TARC stays in Canada, as I am either watching places I have been, or adding to a list of places I want to go. Our country is so beautiful, and I love that this show highlights that!
  12. Feeling under the weather and bored today, so was googling if there was any further info on the two lovebird couples. Came across an interview by Global of the two couples at the same time via zoom (I assume). I still don't get the Chelsea-Austin pairing. He always seems way more into her than she is into him. Joey and Tessa OTOH are very affectionate, and clearly in love. The interesting part of the interview was when they were asked about any behind the camera surprises. Joey talked about how he saw a different side of Maria when he watched the show. I guess it is safe to say their friendship is over. The couples talked about Sam, and how she was very friendly to everyone when the camera was rolling, and not so much when it wasn't. Anyhoo the interview was only about 10 minutes long so worth a look if you are bored like I was. ☺
  13. I'm pretty sure the handbag was for Shannon, its just the one that the daughter liked. The daughters got the $42 each sweatshirts. But it is a little hard to feel sorry for how hard Shannon is working to send the kids to college, when she drops $3000 plus on a used handbag. Gassless or not. First the positive. An Archie sighting, albeit a short one. A Shane sighting. Yay! I had to laugh at Shane telling Emily she should wear a cone so she could empathize with the dog. I always feel that Shane cares for the pets more than Emily does, and as a huge animal lover it is another reason I have always liked Shane. So Heather got a sore back during her short stint of shoveling shit? I guess that is why she never made it big as an actor, as apparently she would not be able to take any roles requiring manual labour? I do love that their is no ass kissing of Heather this season. She's getting it from all sides, and I am here for it. So Tamra waits two years to tell Jenn that supposedly before he even started dating Jenn, he said he wanted to f**k Tamra. I wonder why Jenn is protecting Tamra by not coming right out and saying Tamra wanted to take one for the team and do "hot gym guy" Ryan? Even kidding, Tamra is the married one in this scenario. Another thing Eddie doesn't know I guess. Andy made a huge mistake by bringing Tamra back. The shreiking is OTT, its like Vicki has inhabited Tamra's body. What a waste of screen time she is.
  14. That was soooooo annoying! It did make me wonder if the team that took two penalties realized that there was a good chance they would not be eliminated, since there had not been an non elimination episode so far in the race. They at least acknowledged that they should not still be there, but annoying nevertheless.
  15. Not sure if I will stick with this, as the only one I care for is Jenna. I love her home, it actually has some character and colour. It may not be my choices (no to the pink couch) but at least it has personality. Most of the others appear to live in boring, interchangeable white boxes. Expensive white boxes I am sure, but boring nevertheless. And too many little children, who at that age are either boring, obnoxious, or both. Rio #1 and his sister weren't bad, but we only saw them for a couple of minutes. And what are the odds of two howives having children named Rio? Maybe higher than I would have thought. I do always shake my head at people with small children decorating in all white. But it seems like many only follow trends, rather than common sense. I do give points to Ubah for showing up at Jenna's gathering dressed in something other than black. However I don't know if I can last a whole season watching boring real estate porn combined with boring clothing choices of most of the howives. Add in snooze inducing convos like cheesegate, and I may be out. As Jenna said, move on. At this point Jenna is the only saving grace for me.
  16. So Ryan supposedly said that he wanted to do Tamra, before he met and started dating Jen. Jen and Ryan have been together for two years, so why is Tamra just bringing this up now to Jen? Other than I guess she has been keeping it to herself, in case she were to get asked back to RHOC and need something to stir the shit. And she apparently has kept it from Eddie for two years as well? If I were Eddie I would be asking why that is? But its Tamra, so who knows what is real. In any case, Tamra is adding nothing to the show. Not a surprise. Why does Jen wear baseball caps inside her house? I guess she thinks it looks cool because Ryan does? She looks ridiculous. I have never felt that Gina is over Matt, but I almost laughed out loud when Gina shared that she was at a wedding in a church, and it brought back memories because she was married in a church. OMFG. How Travis puts up with the continual drama is beyond me.
  17. I really can't blame Bravo for wanting to extend season 13. At the reunion last fall at the end of season 12, Kyle was asked about the heart tattoo and said that it meant something to her. So obviously she was in deep enough then with Morgan to get matching tattoos. In the off season, she continued to go to events with Morgan, and even vacation with her. Now we won't know until we see the upcoming season, but other than Kyle and Mo acknowledging that they had a rough year, it doesn't appear as if Kyle's relationship with Morgan will be a part of her storyline, though it seems obvious now that their relationship continued. It appears that Kyle and Mo waiting until after (they thought) filming ended to acknowledge the true status of their relationship. This season will not start airing until later this year, so even the reunion shows for season 13 where Kyle's new relationship might be brought up would be almost a year away from now. Heck, Kyle could be divorced and remarried by then, or on to another relationship. That is the problem with these "reality" shows where there is such a gap between when they are filmed, and when they air. But the fact remains that Bravo is paying Kyle to share her life with the viewers, and it appears that she bet on being able to keep it under wraps until after she collected her paycheck for season 13. So while I feel sorry for her girls, I don't feel sorry for Kyle.
  18. Hmmm, so did anyone watch the final? I wasn't familiar with Chelsea before this season, so was surprised that this is her third kick at the can. It did make sense to me though as I have felt the whole season that she was desperate to make things work with Austin (except when she was willing to kick him to the curb for Josh). It seemed like she was more concerned about failing again, that making sure Austin was really the right guy. I am not putting this under a spoiler tag since the season is over, but I googled to see how the couples are doing now. I didn't realize that the show had wrapped up 14 months ago. That is a long time to keep things under wraps! Imagine my surprise to find out that Chelsea and Austin are still together, he has moved to NYC to be with her. So I totally read them wrong, and good for them. Tessa and Joey are also still together. She moved from the states to Toronto. I did like how she took charge in the last episode to let him know she wasn't going anywhere, and neither was he. It was what he needed. Also love that she proposed first. So glad that I was wrong in my last post about both couples. Not surprised that Garrett and Meghan are not together. Neither are Matia and Chelsea. I guess though that two couples making it (so far) is pretty good odds for the show. I think I read that it isn't back until 2025. Please though, not more Lisa. And I hope cat lover Connor finds someone outside of the show, he seems like a good guy.
  19. Yes, unfortunately it does seem to be the writers' endgame, which makes me wonder how long they can drag out the back-and-forth. I am not sure if it is because I am not crazy about Neve Campbell, or because of the way wife #1 is written, but I really dislike the character. I would much rather see Mickey with Lorna if he is going to reunite with an ex. While I do like Cisco, I don't see a lot of chemistry between Cisco and Lorna.
  20. I don't think Lisa killed millionaire, only because I don't think both seasons of the series would have Mickey getting a killer off (assuming he gets Lisa off, which I would imagine he will). I do think she is shady though, so hopefully the end of the season is also the end of her on my screen. I am bored with the Cisco stuff, don't care. I also would love it if they get rid of wife number one if the series continues for another season. I find the back and forth between her and Mickey also boring, I'd rather have more of Lorna and Izzy.
  21. I doubt this is a publicity stunt, as I don't think either Kyle or Mauricio would do that to their family to get attention. Kyle has known Morgan for a year and a half, according to pics that have been posted. Morgan says she has been sober for several years, and Kyle stopped drinking last summer. Around the same time as Morgan's girlfriend broke up with her, and Morgan and Kyle both got matching unique heart tattoos. There have been many pics of Kyle and Morgan together taken in various places, most seem to be since last summer. The reason I believe it is Portia. She would have just turned 14 when her mom started hanging out with Morgan, and just turned 15 in March. Kyle has always been a helicopter parent (and Mauricio to an extent as well) where Portia is concerned, and often treated her like a child much younger than her age. (I remember when Portia was 10, Kyle carrying her like a toddler from her bed, to downstairs). I think Kyle is spending way too much time, and in too many places, for her relationship to be just a friendship with Morgan. There is quite an age difference, and as a friendship it simply doesn't make sense. Kyle has had to travel of course when filming RHOBH, but this is not a job. I guess Mo is looking after Portia while Kyle goes here and there, but signs do point to an affair. Kyle has also lost a noticeable amount of weight, and is dressing quite a bit younger than she normally does. In fact if I didn't know her age, in some pics I would think she was younger than Morgan. In any case, whether it is a mid life crisis or whatever, I think Kyle is in love, or at least lust. And I think she and Mo are doing things in steps to protect the fam as much as possible, especially Portia. It doesn't sound like it will be part of the upcoming season, but it will be interesting to see how she and Mo relate to each other. I have thought for a few years now that their relationship is not what it is portrayed to be.
  22. The right team definitely went home. It was mind boggling that Gisele could miss the words, and twice!! It sounds like she gave the name of businesses that she could see, and the second time the name of the library. I did wonder why she then also took the job of remembering the pancake orders, rather than making them, since she seemed frazzled from the library task. My early fav is the team that finished first. But so far I don't have a team I dislike. Though the two friends who have assigned themselves a nickname are a bit much. I think it was one of them who said the express passes should have been theirs. Nope, don't think so.
  23. "Saline" for the win! Not that I think Matia is much of a prize, but thank goodness he kicked Krissy (I think her name was?) to the curb, and realized that he does have a connection with Celine. Does anyone else think the big shock was that Celine came back just as Matia was saying his goodbyes? Thank goodness Cole finally ended it with Sam and put us all out of our misery. Sam is way too needy for, pretty much, anyone I would think. I loved Connor's song, and he is way too good for Lisa. She always seems like she is waiting for something (someone?) better to come along. The fact that he is a cat guy also adds points in my eyes. I really hope he finds someone who is worth writing songs about. Lisa is not that person. Not buying that Joey and Tessa, and Austin and Chelsea will make it away from paradise. The rest are just beach chair fillers at this point.
  24. The problem is, Heather has already done that assignment. Several years ago she tried to get back into acting, and Terry's part was that he was not happy that Heather was not home 24/7. We have also had a guest part in one episode of Hot in Cleveland be Heather's storyline. Then there is the stuff she was shilling on a shopping channel, and even a year that she was going to open a restaurant with some partners. Not sure what happened there. In any case, most of Heather's seasons have had Heather do pretty much anything but put herself on hold to be a SAHM.
