  1. But then Alison saw herself dead, and Cole also saw her dead in his POV (or was it Noah’s) last week. Is it plausible that she could still be alive?
  2. Yes, I did love thinking that she was at peace at last. Ruth Wilson was brilliant. But I’m disappointed with the writers for giving her this ending. She deserved far better. Maybe if she’d been given this promise of character development and introspection from the writers she would have stayed. The Ben character was jarring for me from the beginning. He just didn’t belong in the story.
  3. Didn't she say last week that she was not going to contact him for 90 days and he didn't know that. So that's in synch with this narrative.
  4. On feb 5th Bethenny was in Miami with him and Bryn. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-5354827/Bethenny-Frankel-enjoys-vacation-time-ex-Dennis-Shields.html
  5. He had been in treatment before for a cocaine addiction. I believe it was right before their relationship. The papers reported it then.
  6. I was thinking more of her clothes, hair, general debutante vibe. Its just not that kind of place. And from the pictures we see at the Habitat for Humanity do, she projected the same image in those days.
  7. I guess it is true then, but it puzzles me. She’d be so out of her element, I wouldn’t even think she’d be comfortable there.
  8. You would be very surprised to see how small our refrigerators are. Mine has no room for an ice maker.
  9. I’m not convinced that Tinsley didn’t attend Columbia University, School of General Studies. She attended U of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for one year. That seems way more her style. She then came to NY; Topper was at NYU. Then came the year break, then Columbia. My money is on GS.
  10. Here is Bethenny, endearing herself to her fellow HW's yet again. From People quoting Money Magazine. "Bethenny Frankel says the bank accounts of many Real Housewives stars aren’t quite as flush as they appear on TV. “They can’t afford the lives they’re living,” Frankel, 47, tells Money for the magazine’s September issue. “And if the music stops, they’re going to get in some trouble.”" https://people.com/tv/bethenny-frankel-real-housewives-cant-afford-lives/
  11. I remember the opposite. Heather was being solicitous of Bethenny's eating, or lack thereof, and was offering food. Now Heather can be overbearing, its true. Her personality is quite forceful. Bethenny had one of her proverbial meltdowns (divorce was torture, no one can understand, she's a prisoner in her own apartment, yada, yada, yada) and had a crying jag.
  12. O'Hare was at one time the busiest airport in the US. It might still be. FINDING someone at O'Hare is the problem.
  13. Agree. I could understand a small town celebrating the Confederacy, but not in the way the little play portrayed. I was so focused on seeing if Camille would show her scars in the final scene that I didn’t notice any male full frontal. I think I’ll take another peek. The scene on my screen was very dark.
  14. I was really shocked, not for the character, necessarily, but for the show to write out the lead character (in my mind, anyway). I would never have suspected that they would do it with a season left. I don't know that producers accommodate actors in getting out of contracts this way. She's a huge star in the UK but not here, necessarily. I wouldn't think she'd have had the clout to ask out and be granted it. She will always have a lot of work with her talent. I can understand how she got bored with the part. I've always loved her since I saw her in Luther and I will miss her in the show. Brilliant acting especially by Cole last night. Anton was welcome comic relief; he had just the right touch.
  15. Haha. I love that Carole adds "see you next week." Underlying message, I was friends with Heather before, I am still friends with Heather.
  16. Weren’t they both court ordered not to speak to the media about each other? That was why it was so annoying when Carole started buying Bethenny's tales of horror about Jason and repeated them on the show. Bethenny got a mouthpiece and Jason got nothing.
  17. I believe Carole on this one. I think Andy would never fire Carole, not that Bethenny wouldn't demand it. I doubt if Bethenny has the clout she might have once had. Bethenny has to come in first and she has to win and this is her statement about it. She won again in her brain. I'm glad Carole left for her sake, and because I could not endure another season of the storyline. I believe it. Jackie died in that time's version of hospice care. She was in her apartment "dying" for quite a few weeks. Anthony was John's best friend and John was very close to his mother. From stories of the time, good friends came and went to keep Jackie company and say goodbye to her.
  18. OMG, you mean I've suffered through the glacial pace of the show, and the flashbacks, and trying to spot the words, and all the little tidbits I think I've learned are not helpful to the final resolution? I'd give up if it weren't for Amy Adams. I began to wonder if I had imagined the last part where Alan is back in Adora’s bedroom. I vaguely remember Camille and Richard’s agreement to work together last week. He’d tell her one thing, and she’d tell him one thing. I guess the secrets Camille was going to disclose had all happened in the woods, thus the jaunt. If the writers and editors had stepped up the pace, I’d be willing to rewatch to pick up these fine points, but I could never go through a second showing.
  19. Am I looney or was Camille’s boss getting some sort of transfusion when Camille spoke to him on the phone?
  20. No argument there. B has done the same and worse for her appearances. It's a paid gig.
  21. I think I missed that reference, haha. Gee, he can even arrange for Anton to sit in on a class. Noah couldn't even get a job for himself except at a charter school.
  22. Don't see anything wrong with this. Carole had a business obligation and she honored it. She isn't going to muddle up a commercial tweet with an RIP for friend's hubby (friend has already moved on from what I understand). Bethenny does similar appearances in her SG truck. What long since forgotten product was she peddling when she appeared in Union Square in pouring rain with the HW crew?
