  1. I am pretty sure in the elevator scene last week with Obrecht and Carly, Obrecht told Carly that Britt died so Joss could live. Obrecht then asked Carly for a favor - for Carly to let Nina and Willow get close. Of course, tears and pleas mean nothing to Carly. To be fair, Carly did say that she might help Obrecht have a relationship with Willow. Oh, if i wrote that elevator scene... .
  2. Who doesn't enjoy the recent gaslighting that Joss has been anti-mob all along? Is the viewer supposed to ignore years of her being a 'mean-girl' and cancel culturing any-and-every-one who didn't bow down to Carson? Not so fast... .
  3. If the recent squealing by the middle-aged Chief Of Internal Medicine at General Hospital is any indication about Portia's emotional age, the histrionics of a break-up will not be enjoyable to watch. Has an engagement been the only movement on this plot since August? Perhaps if Jordan hadn't spent so much time up Curtis/Portia's biz - maybe this serial murderer who has been on a rampage (at a slacker's pace) since August in Port Charles might have already been captured.
  4. Props out to Robert Gossett (Curtis' dad Marshall) for yesterday's performance. I was somewhat shocked that he's been on since 10/21. The chemistry between Curtis and Marshall seems quite forced. And don't get me started at no chemistry between Curtis and his best man. Time to shuffle some of the character interactions.
  5. Had to look up 'neurodivergent' - so he's on the spectrum - like olivia's kid. In his scenes with Ava, Roho seems so much more alive. Maxie was the absolute worse pick of the cast for a romantic liaison with Roger. I am looking forward to his next incarnation (as long as he refrains from chomping his food and no remnants of that horrible franco mistake pop up).
  6. Awesome, guess I won't have to be tempted to ff through Tracy scenes.
  7. The only Carly scenes that I will not FF through will be the upcoming ones with her aunt Tracy. I am slightly interested in what the writers have in store for Carly without having the luxury of having fallen-angel heroes Sonny or Luke waving off her disgusting behavior and actions.
  8. It's especially tough with dumpster barbie's new beau. Jason Jr. looks like a parking valet and the actor seems to be pleased with himself when he can spit out a sentence. It seems like eternities have passed since he has been on. But it's typical on this soap that by the time the reveal happens, either the actor or the writing - the viewer has lost interest/attachment. When a bowl of moss holds more interest than ... .
  9. I'd rather Michael die. Willow can go back to Chase.
  10. Lines up with the latest recompense from her insider trading. Carly had MULTIPLE people offer to 'give' her half of the hotel back to her - including her current main-event/big-tent opponent.
  11. Didn't Joss and Michael also requested that she be killed?
  12. The relationship between Sonny/Nina is boring and icky but CW helps make MB more tolerable to watch. The exception is when the writers give MB more than a couple of lines of dialogue at a time (e.g., yesterday's recitation of his Deke soliloquy). ymmv. Not surprised that Chase was not brought in to see Willow.
  13. This is the first time I've seen CM acting. He seems like he has been listening nonstop to Tony Robbins' motivation tapes. But CM doesn't seem to be enthralled in his current role in interviews and in performances. Perhaps if the actor didn't seem to portray his character as wanting to be anywhere but where he is. Of course, the writing (and direction) has not helped. What viewer wants to tune in to watch a character playing 'depressed'? I look forward to Tracy's interactions with both Cody and Olivia. Lucy? Selena is MIA (as is her goodlooking security guy). Love that actress). It seems that Curtis/Portia will soon enter a relationship break. Hope that Curtis' bartender gets some screen time. Curtis and N'Neaka seems to have a good relationship. Way to go writers. That sure is some accomplishment in making a character that was sexually abused throughout her childhood, suffered the loss of a baby (resulting from that abuse), and currently lying in a hospital bed with stage-IV cancer - unrootable.
  14. Color me tickled, when Carly suggested that Joss/Dex should have remained at the murder scene at the pier. And yet once again, that lightening failed to strike Carly Jr., when junior shrugged away her answer that Dex was carrying an illegal firearm. But bad Sonny. Really enjoying the liveliness of nuHeather. TBH, it's the first time that I have enjoyed watching Ryan.
  15. "I lost it when that happened. I was laughing so hard I started to cry!" Just started watching (first two seasons up to this episode) and somewhat puzzled that this series is classified a 'comedy'. Some of the writing has wit with a sprinkle of grace thrown in but the highlight of the writing seems to be situational drama. Solid casting. Donald Glover is entertaining to watch.
  16. Drama is not watching whether a grandmother can participate in her grandson's life. Drama is watching Maura West portraying a 'woman scorned'. Enjoyed the Alexis/Drew scenes. Being Carly's loyal golden retriever must not be much fun.
  17. They only have had a handful scenes alone together so far. I just wish that they toned down Spencer a bit as he seems a bit manic like Morgan but unlike Morgan, Spencer has a chance to frequently share scenes with some quality soap actors (not named Marcus).
  18. Since they rained on Curtis' parade, Jordan has been the beneficiary of Curtis downward trajectory. She is no longer in the FF repository. Needs to work on those eyebrows though.
  19. And considering that just last week Sonny waltzed right into the jail cell of a female inmate and threatened her if she told the police the truth... .
  20. These two observations are only related because the two actors shared the same scenes. 'Lots' of folks here were commenting on how Holly didn't seems quite right (aka long covid). While I agree that some of Holly's scenes, especially the ones early in her stint, demonstrated a lack of energy/sluggish; which probably was due to her struggles with long covid. But to my eyes, Robert Scorpio also seemed to be a bit less agile and slower - as he is getting on in years like the rest of us. It (probably) has nothing to do with Covid - just mother nature. ymmv. Hey it's better than the alternative. I enjoy watching both actors and wish them great health and long lives and wish that their screen time would be increased. [something about tilting at windmills 'n all that.]
  21. So unlike most, except for a few scenes, I didn't take note much of Holly's long covid struggles, but did notice that Robert Scorpio has lost a bit of spring in his step. But I enjoyed her return very much. So I was wondering why the Holly episodes - especially the later ones - were so much more enjoyable than the regular episodes. Holly's screen time was made possible by a couple of episodes without Maxi/Spinelli. Pretty good exchange rate. LW is unwatchable. Needless to say that Joss is even worse to watch. Joss was watchable when OG Trina was around. Cam lit up around OG Trina but Joss does not have enough 'stage' presence to carry the teen/young adult crew. So we're stuck with Jason Jr. providing the requisite violent drivel. Dear Santa, please make Carly and Carly Jr. (and Maxi/Spinelli) go far far away.
  22. Gotta give major props to Cynthia Michele Watros. For the first time since I started rewatching GH (and being exposed to the character of Sonny) that I don't mind watching him in her scenes. Not that there is a hint of romance, it's just that Cynthia provides Maurice with just enough space to make his acting tics and line delivery not seem as horrible. Her scenes with the women whose womb she ripped the baby from are a current highlight of the show.
  23. FH paired with JPS seems like a breath of fresh air compared to Anna/Finn. I think that this is one of the few times (at least in the past decade) that Lucy has shared scenes with the international spy clique. It doesn't seem like a huge jump to see a professional spy pooh-pooh an amateur. It seems like both actresses are enjoying themselves. Such a pleasure to watch (along with MW plots) especially compared to watching Sonny/Carly scenes, but if I was a Lucy fan - I would probably take some umbrage at Anna's attitude towards her.
  24. She can hang with Stephen A. Smith (aka Brick) who seems to have an affinity for defending athletes accused of sexual 'misconduct'.
