Wow, so I'm on season 3 of Mad Men, where Betty doesn't have a mother-in-law. I would have appreciated a spoiler tag. :)

S10.E23: Secrets Revealed
LibertarianSlut replied to AnnA's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
Duke, I love your avatar!!! It's so funny. "Maybe it's the 11 months he spent in the womb,"K, about the show, I like Heather sometimes, especially when she's not with Ms Terry. In fact, sometimes I find her extremely likable and she seems like she's easy to get along with, and funny. But there are other things she says/does that I just can't let go of. Like, to Alexis, "if everyone says you're dead, maybe you should LIE DOWN," and, to Sarah W., "you ate the BOW off my CAKE?!?" Weirdly enough, she reminds me of the archetypical girl who has a crush on your high school boyfriend. You may be cool with each other face-to-face, and you might even like her, but you can never really let your guard down or trust her. JMO. I'm open to other interpretations. Tamra, on the other hand, is just a cess pool of a person. She has said and done and continues to do so many things that are beyond the pale, that at some point I've thrown up my hands and said, "ok, the woman is reprehensible." And this, oddly enough, freed me of judgment of her actions, and now I just kind of accept her as she is. Please PM me if you think I need a psychiatrist ASAP. -
When I hear 'adulting,' it reminds me of when Jenna Marone and her boyfriend went 'normaling' on 30 Rock.

S10.E23: Secrets Revealed

I love you more! You are the first person to ever recognize my screen name, and I've had it for many months. All this time I've been thinking it was too obscure & that it sounded like a nerdy guy librarian, so thank you a thousand times for knowing the reference!! ("They mostly just cried. You've got a real morale problem here")I can't take credit for Quagmire. I read it here on one of these boards awhile ago. I thought his name was Quizno. I made my boyfriend Google the Family Guy character whose name starts with a "Q" before I wrote my post. But he does look exactly like Terry! Anyway, to bring this back on topic, I will reconsider my stance on Heather now that I feel there's peace in the world. -

Fair enough. Sorry I got the amount wrong. I can only stand to watch these suckers once, and then I've gotta delete them, for my mental health!I definitely agree to disagree, and I'm only going to post the one respectful reply that I think the mods said we were allowed. I'm definitely not looking to get suspended for arguing, so that is not my intent!! My point really boils down to the fact that Heather told Andy she is not one to speak about spending; in fact, she eschews it. That is what she told Andy in the lost footage of the reunion. I think she contradicts herself when she is later shown asking the sex shop cashier for her total in a frenetic, salacious, excited manner, knowing it was being filmed. I feel this is true, regardless of what the money was being spent on, and regardless of whether Bravo comped it. In fact, if Bravo comped it, I feel it's even worse, because then she's not even showing off an authentic part of her life; instead, she's pretending to spend for the sake of a story (when she claims same is distasteful and not her style). Having said that, I understand that it was a light moment, and the whole scene was intended to be light, so maybe I'm reading too much into it. On a related note, I just think Heather is an obnoxious snob, so I am usually viewing her through this lens. It was at the end of last season when the housewives were doing their mea culpas, and Heather made a dismissive comment about people who are going to give her a hard time for buying her dogs and not getting them from a rescue (what ever happened to those dogs?). Then she also said she was sorry, but not sorry, that she had a chef when "you" (meaning us, directly addressing the viewer) have to stay home and cook. Ugh. I think she was presumptuous and pretentious then, and I think it now. -
S10.E23: Secrets Revealed
LibertarianSlut replied to AnnA's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
[reunion footage] (paraphrasing) Andy: Heather, do you think some of the viewers may be jealous of how you spend money? Heather: Maybe some of them. And I understand that. But here's the thing--I would never call up, say, Tamra, and tell her how much I spent on something. The fact is, when you're building a house, you have to talk about some of the costs of things. [Heather and Meghan at the sex shop. Cashier is ringing up their purchases} Heather (lighting up like a Christmas tree): Wait, what's our TOTAL?!? Cashier: Three thousand dollars [Heather is practically orgasmic] ----------------------------------------------------------- So Heather knows enough not to be gauche and gross enough to tell Tamra what she spends on various crap. But she does not extend the same courtesy to the viewers. This is not the same as how the earlier seasons of the show used to flash the prices of housewives' endeavors across the bottom of the screen. That was done subtly, and by a third party. What I don't need is Madame Puppet thinking I, as a viewer, is jealous of her, or that I could CARE that she needs to spend $3,000 to get Quagmire off. She's so self-important. And hypocritical (re Alexis). Sometimes I think she's worse than Tamra, cause at least Tamra is the devil you know... -
I'm not sure I'm comfortable calling it manslaughter regardless of who did it yet. We haven't been told enough about the circumstances of the incident. In New York, man 1 requires intent (not intent to murder, but intent to do harm, and with vehicular, high BAL or lack of proper license are elements, but that doesn't *seem* to apply here), and man 2 requires an element of negligence or recklessness. What if someone ran Scotty down and it was an accident? Like if they are driving at night and don't see him in the road and they run him over, that's not a crime, unless the driver was doing something wrong, like speeding perhaps. Or what if the perp made it look enough like an accident that there's not enough evidence to prosecute anyone besides Noah? What, exactly, does the state have on Noah? The fact that Scotty was run down plus the fact that Noah bribed a mechanic to stay silent on the fact that he had body work done on his car the next day, plus the fact that Noah had a motive? I think that's too circumstantial to make an arrest and arraign the guy. What am I missing? Or is the show purposely keeping us in the dark about some of the evidence on purpose? Sort of the way they won't show us what Oscar gave to Noah's lawyer just yet?

Yeah, absolutely. And notice how Truely is considered to be losing her mind and having a meltdown when she quietly went to play with her toys when she didn't win the gold mining challenge? But Solomon can throw a punch and no one can say boo? Also, that scene was edited really strange; anyone notice? Rather than just showing the scene, they showed it as a flashback, with commentary from the adults straightaway. I'm convinced this was done because if we had just been shown the scene without commentary, we'd think, "wow, Solomon's a brat!" And we can't go thinking that about The King. Why did Kody deny the Native American trail guide access to his daughters? Cause he was old? So what? I thought love should be multiplied, not divided... And, because this is a huge pet peeve of mine and I can't stand Kodouche, I cringe (ok, who am I kidding--I yell at my TV), "it's great that you want to know the gender of the baby, but what about the sex???" Of course Hunter's first phone call to his family had to be about the--cough--"gender" of Robin's baby. Because I'm sure that was foremost on his mind.

Yes, I'm aware that many women from all walks of life struggle with a high forehead. It doesn't mean she has to settle for thick bangs that are weighed straight down, especially since they don't completely cover the forehead she complains about. Clipping back half that hair would be a start. Cutting bangs so they cover the entire forehead and don't give her what amounts to what looks like a bald spot would be a running start. But how about--I don't know--a long, layered bang that sweeps across her face, rather than draping down the front like the curtain at the close of a show? Or change it up a little and just embrace the high forehead? AJ Cook is a popular actress who rocks that look.I mean, you said it, and I agree: girlfriend ain't in danger of winning any beauty contests. So don't add insult to injury, Bri! -
S22.E13: The Girl Who Took A Shot In The Dark
LibertarianSlut replied to OnceSane's topic in America's Next Top Model [V]
This was a ridiculous amount of "start-up" money. What was the prize, anyway? Does Mikey get to launch his company? Good luck on $2,500. He'd have to start out of his own house. Same with jewelry and a fragrance. The autobiography is probably the cheapest to market, and that's only because self-publishing has become such a big thing. As far as an app, though, it's inconceivable to get it off the ground for anywhere near $2,500. So I think it's legitimate criticism to tell Nyle he's thinking too big for this particular challenge. At its inception, an app goes through several rounds, in order to ensure it's user-friendly and, well, good. The initial costs run, if not in the hundreds of thousands of dollars, tens of thousands of dollars. I just read a book where a guy was trying to launch an app, and he had to hire four separate geniuses to write the code. It took three months for them to come up with a version to play around with just amongst themselves. So, I'm no expert, but I think if one put that much investment into something, they may well want a professional pubic relations presence to bring it to market. It doesn't mean Kelly's statement wasn't self-serving, or that she showed any knowledge of the real work that is involved with launching an app. The real question, for me, was, WHY IS THEIR CHALLENGE BASED ON A FALL-BACK CAREER? Tyra said at the outset that modeling won't last forever, so they have to learn to be entrepreneurs (I'm not even going there with the Ty-ism) for when their modeling career is over. Tyra, launching post-modeling carers is a different reality show! It's not appropriate for a show about working models, and it's certainly not for a show about models trying to break into the business. Judging burgeoning models on the viability of their post-modeling career ideas makes about as much sense as an episode of Sharktank where Mark Cuban makes the contestants drop their business plans in favor of showing him their personal stock portfolios, so he can judge them on who will be prepared for retirement and who won't. Madness, I say, madness! I was thinking the exact same thing! A few cycles ago, Tyra put the idea out there that your pictures are supposed to look better than you do in person. She said if someone tells you that you look better in person, it's actually an insult. It was weird how convicted she was about this, considering it took a good 16-18 cycles for her to say it. But yeah, when Tyra told Mame her test shot was better than any of her real shots, it brought me back there. If you're supposed to look better in your pictures than in person, doesn't it stand to reason that you're supposed to look better in the pictures in which you're posing, rather than a lucky candid shot? I'm over Mame anyway. -

Brianna needs to lose the thick bangs that are only cut across about 2/3s of her forehead. This actually bothered me more than Terra's hair! One thing I really can't stand about Elena is that, if something pisses her off at all, she gets really aggressive, and really loud, and she won't SHUT UP with her grating voice. Someone literally has to interrupt her in order to get her to stop talking. It's happened all season, and it happened at the reunion--I didn't even know what she was fighting about, or with whom; I just remember wanting her voice to stop. Why is Elena distracting me from hating on Matt, who may quite possibly be the worst male counterpart in the history of reality TV?!? And, yes, that includes Slade and Brooks. -
S10.E22: Reunion Part 3
LibertarianSlut replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
I am fascinated by it too. People are always so much smaller when you meet them in person, which is hard to imagine, because most of these women are already so small to begin with.People are going to say I'm crazy, but I think Vicki's comfortable dress size is an 8, sometimes even maybe a six. She has a pretty small waist if you look at her. Her hips are what make her look big, so maybe if something is cut small she's a 10. She's pretty tall, but not a giant. Maybe she's 5'7"-5'8"? I think Brianna is about Vicki's height, but I really have no idea. I don't think there is any way she wears anything smaller than a size 16, and even then...I don't know. When she had that sit-down with Tamra, she looked very, very big. People said she looked like she slimmed down at the reunion, but I didn't see her lose weight, just saw her gain eye makeup. I always get confused when people say they're gonna give Brianna "a pass" on her weight because of who her mother is, thyroid issues, just having birthed two children, or whatever. The sad fact is that people can't give other people "a pass" on their weight. Diabetes, heart disease and sleep apnea aren't going to pass over one person and land on another person who is perhaps "more deserving" of obesity. It just doesn't work that way. And it's not fat-shaming. If she smoked cigarettes, we might be inclined to look the other way, cause her mother is so crazy, maybe she drove her to smoke. But I guarantee emphysema isn't going to be as discerning. -

Just looking for some clarity...Brooks said, and I've seen it written on this board, that he thought he had "nose cancer." Every time I see that written, or hear him say it, it seems so odd. I've never heard that term in my life. I know these is such thing as cancer of the nasal passages, but if you suspected you had that, wouldn't you call it cancer of your nasal passages, and not "nose cancer"? Also, at the point he was talking about his potential "nose cancer" diagnosis, he interrupted himself to say it was "squamous." Isn't "squamous" a type of skin cancer? Why not just say "skin cancer"? If he had a possible skin cancer on his cheek, would that be "cheek cancer"? On his chest, and it's chest cancer? Was he just trying to make it sound more serious than it was? Can someone with knowledge please set me straight? Also, I've been in the "don't know, don't care" school of thought regarding Brooks's cancer claim this whole season, but tonight, everything seemed to...sag, if not fall apart. It doesn't mean I think Vicki's, like, a bad guy or anything. I think she just had a lot of neediness, and sort of fell into something. But, Brooks--back to Brooks--what was his explanation as to why two of his ex-girlfriends were involved in his "nose cancer" scare? He explained that one ex was a woman scorned, and when Andy asked about the other woman, did Brooks just say something to the effect of, "yeah, she was involved too [laughing]. It's weird. I know."? Da fuq? Is that the best explanation he can give? If people had been accusing me of faking cancer, and I chose to take advantage of a national platform to refute them, you best believe I'd come prepared with names, dates, times, and receipts. I'd bombard Andy with info he wouldn't even want, in an effort to clear my name. And I'd be damned if I came to a pivotal point in my narrative only to throw my hands up and say, "well, awe shucks, ain't it strange?" It's kind of insulting to the viewer. We are here to hear Brooks talk about his cancer. All of it. All of his scares, diagnoses, and misdiagnoses. That was literally all he was there to talk to Andy about. Don't laugh off part of what was asked. When Brooks accepted the interview with Andy, he should have either came and told the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth, or told a damned good lie. But, either way, answer the questions posed to you fully and without equivocation. I think we, as viewers, deserved that at least. -
Teresa Checks In Part 3: The Visit
LibertarianSlut replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
Melissa and Joe's closet? Looked like hell. For a house with tens of thousands of square feet, there should really be his-and-hers closets off the master bedroom. That closet was way too full and messy. Melissa knew it was going to be filmed, and she didn't color-coordinate or anything? Ok then. If I took a shot every time Melissa interjected a nasally "you know" into one of her sentences, I'd be in a full alcoholic coma right now. She must have said it six to eight times just when she was chopping mushrooms. Yes, Melissa, WE KNOW. These are some really unintelligent people. Joe Gorga just came off sounding so dumb when talking about visiting Teresa. He was expositing about it so much, but the only thought he seemed to be trying to express was that he was apprehensive at the idea of seeing Teresa in prison. Period. The end. That's it. I wish I could have just written a script for him. The show would have been a half hour. Both Gorga parents only speak in broken English, so maybe that had a negative effect on Teresa and Joe's vocabularies growing up? But they went to school with English-speaking teachers and students, no? I think the reason they're so stupid is just that, stupidity. Man, that lawyer is creepy. I was watching this with my boyfriend and I said to him, "Do me a favor--if I ever get sent to jail, don't sit around drinking wine and having meals with my lawyer." I know the guy is there for the sake of the show, to explain Teresa's legal circumstances to the viewer, but the guy has no personality or sense of humor, which makes his presence so awkward. He is like Rod Sterling at the beginning of each Twilight Zone episode, explaining to the viewer how the characters got into the predicament they're in. All he's missing is the smoking cigarette. Gia has been wound so tight this episode, and it doesn't help anyone. Screaming at your little sister for everything she does doesn't make lil sis feel like there are boundaries and that there's a maternal figure watching over her--she's just going to feel micromanaged and screamed-at. I was really glad Joe called out her behavior and pulled her aside. I think Joe is doing a really good job of stepping up to the plate and raising the girls for a year. I don't think he needs Gia to be a mini mother figure or a disciplinarian. I think she should listen to Joe, and do more laundry if she wants to help the household. I have a feeling Gia can go off with her friends as often as she'd like, and Joe would be fine watching Audrianna and Milania (I don't think Gabriella requires full-time supervision). I have a suspicion that this desire for hyper-control is either being fed to her by Teresa (which would be really unfair), or it's just part of her personality. She'd be so much better served to just calm down. I know, easy for me to say as a non-fourteen year old with a mother in prison. But it's been established that Gabriella is doing the bulk of the housework with almost OCD-like precision. And she's cool. Gia can take a page out of Gabriella's book. For her own sake. -
Did anyone recognize the actress who played Kim from an episode of Criminal Minds, Anonymous, last season? She played a recovered addict, and had the same trailer trash look to her there too.

Wow, Oholibamah, that breakdown was awesome! Thank you! I've never seen such an in-depth analysis of the show. You could, like, publish that. I love it. Just one little thing to fix: Cycle 13, it was Jennifer and not Rae who was in the top 4. I wish it were Rae. She was gorgeous. I loved that cycle. So much beauty. I am in agreement; I think C6 may have been the best ever, with Sara Albert possibly being my favorite hamster of the entire series. I'm so bummed the show was cancelled, but I think it jumped the shark not with the All-Star cycle, but with C19 when they cleaned house of Nigel & Mr Jay, brought in the God-awful Johhny Wujek and Bryanboi, and introduced the social media component. I think C19-C22 were in a class of their own awfulness, and don't even deserve to be ranked with the others. (I'm bummed it's cancelled because I believe they could have turned it around, the way they did after C13). I actually loved the British Invasion cycle. I thought it had a ton of beauty and talent and it was pretty much the only cycle where the girl I wanted to win actually won. Aside from the unmentionable cycles 19-22, I think my least favorite cycle was C12. It just felt so blah and boring and uninspired. I didn't like anyone. I didn't feel like there was anyone to root for. Animat was gorgeous, and probably should have won on that alone, but man was she a bitch. Celia, with her awesome Kentucky clothes, was way too mature looking, and I wasn't as impressed with Natalie as I think I was supposed to be. I actually liked the red-haired plus-sized girl who was dating a race-car driver (her name escapes me), but she was eliminated early. I know we've seen the awful weight gain narrative in the past, with Keenyah and Anchal, but it just seemed sad, and not amusing, with London this time. I also strongly disliked cycles four and five. I felt like there was no one to root for in either, except for Brita, who left first in C4. Cycle nine was the first one I watched "live," and I was really disappointed with it. There seemed to be no energy to it. The All-Star cycle was not good. Brittany from C4 and Bre from C5 came back looking 100 years old. Shannon from C1 looked around 80. This made it hard to judge the contestants against each other. And WTF was up with that ending? Angelea should never have gotten as far as she did. As far as C7, I actually liked it. I thought there were a bunch of strong contenders. The Top 3 were good, as well as the twins, Brooke, and Monique. I also thought Kari was really interesting. Pretty much my favorite part of C7 was that the Top 2 were so similar looking, that it really did come down to the details, which I enjoyed. In retrospect, I think the judges got it wrong. At the time, I thought they got it right. I was kind of agnostic toward cycles 14, 15, and 16. I was rooting for Tatiana, Jane, and Molly, respectively. Looking back, Molly was spoiled and had issues. I should have gone for Monique for the win, although Brittani was probably the better model. And, if there was ever a model that made me super unhappy aesthetically, it was C16's Kasia. I don't know what it was, but I hated her look--her face and her body, but mostly her face. Ugh. C1 was fun. It was funny how Tyra kept referring to them as up-and-coming "supermodels." I think Katie might have been an overlooked beauty. I really liked cycles 10 and 11. There was so much beauty and so many interesting back stories there. Sam, the first runner-up from C11, was one of my all-time favorites. I loved me some cycles two and three! The glory days. So much to look at. The motorcycle shoot in Japan in S3 was perhaps my favorite shoot ever. Regarding C3, I think Jennipher and Kristi were both sent home too early. I could have lived without Amanda. And Ann had a horrible personality. She really lost her noodle at the end there, and took it out on Eva, who didn't deserve it. Haha, Eva won, so boo-yeah Ann! Aside from C6, C8 was my favorite. I just loved the conglomeration of contestants. I also loved the candy-coated photo shoot. "Some people have war in their countries." -Natasha You guys, I'm gonna miss this show! I love it.

Manzo'd With Children - General Discussion
LibertarianSlut replied to Meredith Quill's topic in Manzo'd With Children
I thought Caroline looked so much prettier and younger with her hair up in these last two episodes. She finally doesn't look like her own mother. The future MIL is so loud and needy and exhausting and extra. We get it--you want a grandchild. Now relax. I'm surprised no one has shown any concern for Lauren marrying someone who appears to be morbidly obese at such a young age. That puts him in a major risk for serious health complications down the line. What are the chances that this would have gone unmentioned in this family if if Vito had been a female? -
S10.E20: Reunion Part 1
LibertarianSlut replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
Wow, Heather was really feeling her oats at this reunion. I think she was crabby about having to be the one to sit next to Vicki, and on the non-dominant side, no less. But jeez, she was really rigid: "You NEVER talk about the mother of the children...what is with these SWEEPING JUDGMENTS...a STAY-AT-HOME MOM deserves a PURSE" (paraphrasing, obviously) It looks like she keeps it up in future episodes when she says it's not a question of WHETHER Vicki knew, but WHEN. And then she admonishes Shannon so sternly that you stay in a marriage or leave, but you DON'T. CHEAT. Like, even where I agree with her, I feel like she's lecturing. She just seemed so much more conciliatory at last year's reunion. Or, what is it that she said at last year's reunion--that some viewers just don't like "the tone and timbre" of her voice. Maybe I am one. Who knows? On the upside, Meghan did not annoy me nearly as much as I thought she would. And Shannon for the win of the entire reunion for her response to Meghan's assertion that her brother is a male model who is doing well for himself: "Yeah, but does he put sushi on the penis?!?" OMG. So much WTF-ery there. -
Yeah, I feel petty just for remembering this, but when all the wives got weighed, Janelle was 270 (I don't remember any of the other wives' weights). I wanted to call out "liar" to Janelle when the trainer said it, cause last season she told us she was at 230, down from her highest, which was 260. So, someone got a little fudgy with the numbers...wouldn't she want to say she weighed more in the beginning, so that she would seem like she worked harder to lose more weight? LolAre you sure she's 5'4"? Girlfriend looks like a very large 230 to me. I figured she was like 5'2". Robin was looking hella thick in this episode, for her. The baby isn't due until January, so I'm not sure how much she could blame on baby weight. I wonder how Kody would treat her if she became (and stayed) as big as the other wives. Like, I really do wonder whether he'd take another wife, or if he wouldn't care because she's the Queen. I think Christine is cute and pretty, and I think she wears her weight well. Free Christine! (And Meri! And Janelle!)

S10.E20: Reunion Part 1
LibertarianSlut replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
It was a viewer question from 'Kimberly from Chicago.' I stand corrected on that. It was Andy's choice to raise the question about adoption during a discussion of step vs bio children that led me to believe he was an ass that doesn't know the difference between 'step' and adoption. In light of the long post I just made about the issue, I'm going to drop it now, so that I don't become repetitive. -
S10.E20: Reunion Part 1
LibertarianSlut replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
Andy muddled the issue. I'm watching it on repeat right now, so I'll walk ya through it Here is what was said verbatim: [package closes] Vicki: it is different when you have your own than when they're step, so-- Meghan (interrupting): you don't know that. So you can't speak to that. And it's unfair-- Vicki (interrupting): I've witnessed my friends, and people that are close to me, have their own biological child. it does change. That's my opinion. Andy: Tamra and Vicki, Kimberly from Chicago wants to know, 'would you tell parents who have adopted children that their love is not the same, or as real, as love for biological children?' [Vicki launches into her answer, the answer I characterized as 'lame' in my first post. Her response was also brash, insensitive, and dumb. But it was a response. A response to a question that got pitched to her about adoption, when she had been discussing the inherent differences in the way that one will relate to a stepchild v a bio child.] And--(for purposes of this point) scene-- Who is the first one who brought up adoption? Andy What was the immediate prior debate between Meghan and Vicki about? Step vs bio children Hence, who is the one who muddled the issue of step vs adoption? Andy Your Honor, I rest my case. I put myself at the mercy of the viewing audience, and may God have mercy on my soul for entertaining Bravo's bullshit. -
S10.E20: Reunion Part 1
LibertarianSlut replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of Orange County
I didn't appreciate the way Andy--and by extension, some of the other wives--muddled stepchildren with adopted children. We see a package where the entire issue is whether Meghan is overstepping her bounds as a stepmom. Then Andy immediately asked Vicki something about whether he thinks her mom had the same love for Vicki as she did for her adopted children. Vicki was too slow on the uptake and mumbled some lame answer to the question when she immediately should have corrected Andy: Adoption is not 'step.' They are apples and oranges. When someone adopts a child, she becomes that person's real child. There is no issue of overstepping, because she's your kid. With step-children, there may be a natural parent about whom you need to be worried about regarding boundaries. That was apparently what Meghan's issue was about, and that should have been the scope of the discussion. Even in the most open and harmonious of adoptions, there is no issue as to who is the authority figure in the child's life. The adoptive parents have all of the rights, privileges, and responsibilities. Therefore, there was no reason, IMO, for Andy to raise the topic of adoption, which had nothing to do with the price of tea in China. I'm not adopted, and I don't have any particular sensitivity to the issue, but it bothers when people interchange these two very different terms. And I'm not even going to get started on people labeling half-siblings as step-siblings. I think I've been watching too much Sister Wives. -
Teresa Checks In Part 1: Tre Of Life
LibertarianSlut replied to Tara Ariano's topic in The Real Housewives Of New Jersey
Where did you get the idea that she won't be allowed to have alcohol? People on federal probation are told they can't use alcohol "excessively," and they obviously can't be in possession of illegal controlled substances. But any prohibition on alcohol is news to me...And, as I understand it, she will be allowed to travel out of the jurisdiction as long as she has permission. That is a far cry from no travel out of state. I think Teresa Guidice's post-prison life will look a lot like Teresa Guidice's pre-prison life. It's actually freaking me out how similar she manages to make her prison life look like pre-prison life.
