I agree. Kelly seems like she's being pulled in 2 different directions: the real Kelly who was always dealing with weight issues and being ridiculed for just being herself. And this new Kelly who someone is trying to make into a glamorous Hollywood icon. You can tell she's uncomfortable being dressed up.

THAT was one of my favorite SATC moments. Did they have different writers at that time? And then we have the two movie sequels after the series finale that were beyond cringe worthy.

It's just another version of TLC's "My 600 Pound Life". Except the newer versions exploit the obese in shameful (as in, shame on TLC) ways (bikinis at the beach, high school reunions, tanning salons etc) I hope all of these women take advantage of every fucking thing TLC gives them (for freebies) AND also lose the weight. Ram it up TLC's arse.

Yes, he should have tried for someone better but maybe he has such low self esteem that he settled for Amy. He doesn't appear to have ANY influence on Amy. She runs the show, she wears the big pants, she tells Michael what to do, when to do it and he just does it. Poor guy will be in his own wheelchair in the next 10 years because of a bad back from hauling his 800 pound sister in law everywhere. He can take his kids on rides in his wheelchair or his adoring wife can teach the sons how to wheel their crippled dad around. I'm glad they're off tv for now. I hope they don't get another season.

How about her father? I thought he was highly educated and successful. Why hasn't he had anything to say or do to help his charming daughter? Kevin junior is probably out buying more gold chains, weed, Courvoiser, Patron, escorts.

I thought she was legally blind? Not sure if that stops someone from reading but I just can't picture Amy being interested in reading. And let's not forget that there was another dog that Amy owned along with Lil Bit. Someone posted about it on this thread but nobody knows what happened to that poor dog. I hope Amy and Tammy never come back to reality TV.
