  1. For those that want to check out a decent Pixl movie, Hallmark is airing "Romantically Speaking" Sunday morning. It has Heather Morris from Glee in it and was pretty good, plus there was diversity!
  2. What! Most of those movies are on my list. Good thing I have While You Were Sleeping and How To Lose a Guy on DVD but Netflix is so much easier. They better have some new romcoms to fill the void. How about Ever After and Never Been Kissed, Netflix?
  3. Congrats to Emme and her husband. I wish I looked half as good after giving birth. I may come back just to see how bad they screw up Steve's return. It will be nice to see him and the Q's together- I always loved his scenes with Chad and Leslie. Plus, I'm sure Kimberly will come back for an episode or two and they were always great together.
  4. I don't get why people are up in arms because Rachel isn't attracted to all the black guys she sent home. Maybe I'm naive, but she's following her heart and not looking at the race of the guy, but how she feels about them. Maybe she got a vibe that they weren't that into her, and she connected better with the guys she picked. I'm glad she's following her heart and not feeling as if she's forced to pick only black men to appease people. I'm guessing that Adam and Matt have had poor editing and she connected with them. I'm glad that she's not only picking pretty people- she seemed genuinely happy when Adam was twirling her around during the Viking date. That being said, I did like all the guys that were sent home (except for Lee), so if they are on BIP I may be forced to watch it. They seem like fun guys, and I think I enjoy scenes with them hanging out without Rachel more than the one on one convos with her. They seem to like eachother.

    The NBA

Harden and CP3, just wow. And they are pursuing Paul George too. They may give the Warriors a run.
  6. I'm not too on interested in the reboot. I liked this show not because of the zombie stuff, but because of the characters and Liv solving murders. Having half of Seattle (and Major AGAIN) being zombies seems unappealing. I will give it a try, but I'm still mad at them for unnecessarily killing Natalie. Plus, now Bozio is a zombie? At least Clive gets a good storyline next season.

I would have rather seen that second picture on the cover- it is so lovely.
  8. I thought that Michael and Rosalie had pretty good chemistry. Maybe he needs someone with a little edge because I think Chad can be sexy. Him hating on Sonny and Carly was freaking hot- I miss that Michael dearly. I like Joss and Oscar. Maybe there is something wrong with me and I need to go back to not watching. Carly and Sonny are still having the same conversation years later, and Jason is still a jackass whose number one love is Sonny.
  9. The only thing that bothered me about the movie was the stressed out bride. She was absolutely nutty and crazy. It seemed as if she freaked out over everything and had zero responsibilities, and her poor dad was so stressed. It was obvious he was planning a surprise for her, but I guess she had to be crazy so Tess could be the level headed one.
  10. The falling in love with another person while having a significant other trope is so tiresome. I agree that most of these movies don't need to have that obstacle. Most of my favorite Hallmark movies have both leads being single (Love on the Air, Snow Bride, Let it Snow, etc. Even Nine Lives of Christmas had the lead break up with his gf before he fell in love . ) That being said, I absolutely loved last night's movie. Glad that it lived up to my expectations since the leads are usually great in whatever they do. Maggie Lawson is really good on the tv show Psych if you've never seen her before. Below is a good article of Maggie talking about the movie and Psych. She said they didn't even do a chemistry read. I wonder if Hallmark doesn't do this for any of their movies, which would explain why so many leads have zero chemistry. https://parade.com/581224/paulettecohn/maggie-lawson-talks-my-favorite-wedding-and-psych-the-movie-reunion/
  11. I haven't watched How To Lose a Guy in 10 days in forever, and forgot how hilarious that movie was. One of the funniest romcoms I have ever seen, and it helped that Kate and Matthew had terrific chemistry. I watch movies like this and feel sad that we rarely see these movies anymore.

    The NBA

Damn it, Lakers. I don't want to have to suffer through Lonzo's father the next few years. It's bad enough I have to like Lonzo since I despise UCLA, but deal with his dad? No thank you. At least he seems like a nice kid- I feel sorry for him because his dad seems like a piece of work. I can only imagine what he went through.
  13. Damn, Jason Dohring has chemistry with everyone. I thought Liv and Justin were cute, but wow. If Justin did die next week, I would be more upset because of Major- I love their bromance. Poor Major can't catch a break. I'm mad that Natalie didn't come in until this episode when we had to suffer through annoying Shaunna for two episodes. I love Clive. He makes everything better.
  14. I forgot about the that movie- it's also a guilty pleasure of mine. I also love rewatching Bend It Like Beckham and Save the Last Dance.
  15. Tried to watch Love on the Sidelines (QB and personal assistant fall in love) and I couldn't last 30 minutes. The actress was fine, but the lead actor was terrible. He was stiff and wooden and they had zero chemistry. There are cheesier movies I could waste my time on. I'm kind of excited about this week's movie "My Favorite Wedding" because I love both Paul Greene and Maggie Lawson. I hope they have good chemistry. Im also looking forward to "Love at the Shore" because I liked Peter Porte in the Cinderella Christmas movie on ION and Amanda Righetti was awesome in the Mentalist.
  16. I may have to check that one out- I've loved Chris Pine ever since I saw him in Princess Diaries 2 (don't judge) and Blind Dating (see, interracial movies are my jam).
  17. I caught Date my dad and really enjoyed it. Don't know how the ratings are, but I like his relationship with his daughters. Looking forward to watching it this summer.
  18. I enjoyed the Perfect Bride- I was wondering why the leads had such an easy chemistry between each other and didn't realize they were in When Calls the Heart. It was actually funny, and the fiancé wasn't a bad person. I also liked seeing the sister since she was good on iZombie. Definitely a rewatchable movie. I watched Stop the Wedding again and still enjoy it. I get sad watching Alan Thicke, but the chemistry was so good between the leads. I also like that they both acknowledged that as unbelievable as it is, they did fall in love in such a short time.
  19. Finally! I also saw a trailer for the Big Sick today and that also looks promising. Maybe there is hope....
  20. FInally watched Bridget Jones' Baby and you guys were right- it was pretty good. I got teary eyed a few times because it gave me the feels like the first one did. Finally a good rom com! I tried watching Playing It Cool with Chris Evans and even his hotness could not keep me occupied- I lost interest 20 minutes into it. When is Netflix going to stream the Duff? I really want to see that movie again- so freaking cute. The Matchbreaker looks promising so may try watching it this weekend. There was a decent movie that Netflix used to stream called "The Other End of the Line" with Jesse Metcalfe falling in love with an Indian telecommunications person. It was pretty cute, but I'm a sucker for interracial movies (Shiri in Love was also cute). Shame that there aren't many new ones out there.
  21. Loved the eye candy- made up for Ravi acting like an idiot. How can you trust someone you barely know, especially if she told you she's a journalist? I need to get my Veronica Mars DVDs out now and get my Logan fix. Justin better not die. Nice twist with Harvey being a zombie- I wonder how he's going to feel eating his first brain. Are there only two episodes left? This season has flown by, and next week's episode looks hilarious. I always love the Liv and Ravi friendship

    The NBA

I was bummed when Kawhi got hurt- I think the Spurs could have challenged the Warriors pretty well and we would have gotten a good series. The Warriors took advantage of that and destroyed them. I can't stand them, but they have accomplished a lot the past few years with some unselfish basketball. I'm sure they have another few championships left in them- I just want the other teams to challenge them. I know it's hard because the Warriors are stacked. Also, a team who refuses to go to the White House because of their principles is okay in my book.

    The NBA

Now that Durant has his ring I wonder if he will go back to OKC a la Lebron style and try to win a championship for them. I doubt it because Westbrook and those fans want nothing to do with him, but I would like to see it happen.
  24. THat explains why Hallmark movies have decreased on quality the past few years. I watched Hopeless, Romantic and a Moving Romance and thought both were cute. I liked the premise of a Moving Romance because it was different, but the ending seemed rushed.
  25. Saw Casa Vita again and that movie gets better the more I watch it. I can see them make another one where Early is struggling to be a hitting coach and Arianna is opening her new restaurant. Make it happen Pixl!
