Why the hell did she turn down the offer for the 10k donation to charity of her choice? Jinx. ha! -

Last year around this time, she was on an extended maternity leave. -
Well that clears that up for me. I was leaning against watching this season of SYTYCD, if the hint Abby dropped is true, I'm out.

I just noticed recently that Melissa doesn't pronounce it coshtumes anymore. I think it's regional pronunciation thing because they all said it that way before. -
I'm so embarrassed that that happened in my state, but it's the land of Michele Bachmann and Al Franken. I remember very clearly being soooooo afraid that Obama would be assassinated before the election because of those hateful crowds at Sarah Palin appearances. I just can't with Joe back to all things Trump this morning, he was calling Senator Sasse defensive whilst he was the one sitting there with his arms crossed saying "NO NO NO NO NO NO" pathetic. I too am pretty shocked that nobody has followed up on that hateful preacher at that conference in Iowa, I remember that Huckabee was there, wasn't Carson and another one of the candidates there as well as Cruz?

Far be it for me to be a Raven defender (because I don't like her much) but Debbie Allen sings her praises in this Sway interview. I was really surprised, Raven has done her Hot Chocolate Nutcracker.

When I got a glimpse of her from far away behind Seacrest yesterday, I made the same mistake actually for a hot second. -
Nah, it's furious backpedaling (for any credibility) after getting caught on a hot mic (probably network ordered because of the concurrent MHP debacle).

I give her a pass, she has dyslexia. Which is why it makes zero sense having a day job reading a teleprompter. That said, you'd think they could have given her lines to memorize days ago. Clearly she can manage that or she would never have gotten acting gigs. -

You're right, my apologies. I confused equal time with the fairness doctrine. -
We're not the only folks noticing Ron Fournier's Hillary Hating. ;) I noticed that we didn't get weekend long Morning Joe, tomorrow morning should be interesting.

That disappeared under Reagan. -
I thought that Alex was given the Up spot? They are preempting everything on weekends lately for election coverage, I wonder when they'll settle back to "named" shows.

So Matthews was once again banished. He's being a good soldier though, I wish they'd flip it, send Bri-Wi out to the field and give us back Chris and Rachel in New York. -

This really disappoints me, I have learned so much from MHP over the years that I never would have without her. I never liked him as much on Up as Hayes, but he's now been molded into a Todd lackey and become completely unwatchable. If all he did was monitor the magic board it would be okay - but he's now in his GWB mode all the time when on air, unwatchable. -

I guess it's really mean and nasty and "beltway insider" (as well as spittle licked biased) to ask "how are you going to get it done". Matthews again and again agrees with Sanders (who often states the obvious from the "liberal" prospective) but what Chris keeps asking is how? And then Bernie slightly changes the topic and answers with more bromides about his "revolution" (which is not forming by most critical measures, like turnout). I thought it was a good exchange. To bad once again, we fail to get details about how Sanders will accomplish his goals - besides millions of people rising up in his revolution. In all fairness, Bernie has been doing the Thom Hartmann show for years speaking about all these issues, and how he thinks they should be addressed. I've been a recipient of his newsletters for a decade I think. But where Bernie was in 2011 was talking about someone to primary Obama because Sanders was disappointed in Obama's ability to get the things done that the far-left want. (I agree with most of them, but I know I'm far-far-left.) The math on Sanders single payer plan on his website is sketchy at best, sure all these economists agree with him - but what detail are they seeing that we can't see on his website? -
Less and less on this show do we see any impressive guests. Mostly sycophants anymore, and/or the better MSNBC contracted analysts. But fewer and fewer non-MSNBC related guests.

It is, but even that will cost you $35-40 for the generic. You can buy it online. The caveat is, you'd have to know of it's existence on time, and if all you've had is abstinence only education...

I haven't watched it all yet, but I hardly see Chris biases against Sanders, Sanders is the candidate that Matthews characterized as joyful and focused. What did Chris do? Push back in search of detailed answers from the candidate? How biased. -
From a general perspective, good sized competitions in performing arts center or high schools with great auditoriums never concerned me from a "pedo" perspective, you can pretty much tell that everyone is family by behaviors - but we do have a few four-five day huge competitions at the convention center. Those were the competitions where I insisted (and it was a team rule, followed more loosely than you'd like), that my kid had her team suit on going back and forth to different parts of the center. What is creepy, is that Dance Moms competitions sell tickets for observing which to me is motivation to have strangers around.

She's 13. And back when my 21 was her age, the look would have been to add nude tights with crystals either scattered or on the seam - but from what I've seen the trend now is very nice leotards for many styles and no tights. Most of the "contemporary" pieces that we watched in this age group last summer were costumed similarly. The only issue I had with it is that she wasn't wearing petals or boobeez under it, at Maddies age, those should be standard in her competition kit. I know if I went and dug into my daughter's old kit, both kinds are still in there.
-
Nia also appears to have a longer body, and not the short waist and long legs that are a better aesthetic for any type of dancers - that's why costuming for her solos needs feature empire waists, or the bra-top/booty shorts with skirt type look, to extend her legs. I'm not sure that she could pull off the Liza halter unitard look, but there were many other options for a costume.

Haven't started watching but Joy once again has her facts wrong as the basis for a stupid joke. Melania Trump speaks at least five languages.

Fosse movement borrows from many dance styles, there are some steps that are reminiscent of The Charleston - but it's more about the turned in knees and feet, single en dedans pirouettes and small and quick body isolations than anything. They are not the same. And the rather childish part that Abby wanted to grab from The Charleston is something little girls do in tap routines around the age of five. You can see Mack and Maddie tapping here.
