  1. I think we only have Jed because of DWTS, her main gig is Fox so I doubt she'll be a co-host - but then look at Nicolle and MSNBC. I suspect we are stuck with CCB, but I'm crossing my fingers not. I am also praying that Whoopi walks away in a tiff about Joy's contract and $$. I think that Paula and Sara are a lock. On the bubble, Michelle and Raven - I think we'll continue to see Sherri and Stacy.
  2. We (Americans or maybe people in general) always have problems with imperfect victims. It's not cool. Justice is justice.
  3. I don't remember, was Brynn on briefly last season or was it the season before? One of the moms from Club Dance, not a mom of anyone on the show posted here briefly and complained about one of the other dancers going to be on Cathy's team last year. That's even more questionable, imho. Not because I think Cathy's training is worse - but to give up intense training to be in the background so to speak.
  4. I figured since it related to the show it went here. It was a quick thing, he just commented about it how weird it is that Carson endorsed tRump because of what seems to be obvious racism.
  5. Whoopi's incredulous questioning about how Carson could endorse Trump due to her opinion that he's a racist made All In with Chris Hayes on MSNBC tonight. When my worlds collide.
  6. I <3 my congresscritter. ;) As a bit of trivia, the Cedar Riverside high rises where a lot of our Somali neighbors have settled is the same apartment complex that Mary Tyler Moore moved into back in the day.
  7. The only child from his first set that I find at all admirable is Ivanka. ba ha ha ha 3.2.1. The elder Trump male offspring suck! Jinx.
  8. I was annoyed last night with O'Donnell and his inferences about Clinton regarding "hot spots" without showing us that part of the speech in context. She was referring to neighborhoods in Europe like Saint Denis in Paris and Molenbeek in Brussels, and focusing on them because they've been shown to have clusters of radicalized terrorists. It was part of a larger point about how to fight radicalization, I don't understand why it was so controversial, or offensive. (Around 18.5 minutes.) I was waiting to hear something blatantly bigoted or racist, but what I heard was logical. She goes on in the speech to talk about the Somali community in Minneapolis and the hard work that has been done there to work within the community to identify youth that is at risk of being radicalized. I would extrapolate from her often repeated example of this, that it is something that she'd suggest that Europeans adopt. I'm flummoxed about O'Donnell's inference.
  9. Whenever I hear Governor and Alabama I think of Don Siegelman. I still feel like this was a Karl Rove/Alberto Gonzales hit job. Gotta love those family values!
  10. No inside info, ha! Just looked on the Dance Moms Wiki - Kenzie won the Jr. Grand Prize Scholarship at Hollywood Vibe in Pittsburgh, which appears to be cash and an invitation to the nationals and inclusion on the Team that performs at the Gala (as well as the LA Agency Award, it's not clear if this is just a qualifier for nationals or a win, it includes headshots and a scholarship at Millennium as well as a representation) - the Grand Prize for the Teens and Srs is much better with a scholarship to Millennium. à la seconde They are easier to perfect than fouetté pirouettes, they are also regarded as the men's turn in formal ballet. And yes, we've seen Nia do à la secondes in group dances.
  11. Scandal! Obama did the tango in Argentina! The optics, the optics!?!?!!!!?!!?!!?!?!!!!!!!!!
  12. Sorry dude, ya know I love your posts and all but you really fell down here. lol
  13. Wasn't it in Iraq? And isn't shoe throwing there culturally the worst insult possible?
  14. Exactly, y'all. The day before the Paris attack there was a terrible bombing in Lebanon, and something pretty horrific with Boko Harum in Africa as well. But when it's white folks, it's an issue.
  15. Sorry to steal this to make a different point/observation. Anyone else notice that tRump mispronounces the Klan? He say's Klu Klux Klan, lol.
  16. Well, Sanders chose not to go to AIPAC. He did get an interview with Hayes and then later on the Last Word got speech coverage on Monday night which is good the night before yet another primary.
  17. Meh, the cluck clucking about Obama in Cuba failed to incite me. That was Kasich's talking point yesterday to borrow a word from SFoster21, demonize Obama. Just proved to me that they failed to understand Obama's more important message, which is failing to be terrorized by them is a lose for Daesh. If Obama had interrupted his plans and trip, given the historic nature of it - it would have been perceived as a win for Daesh. ymmv, of course.
  18. Sanders was interviewed by Maddow on Thursday night and Hayes on Monday night. Coverage between Clinton and Sanders seems to be fairly balanced, but doesn't come near matching tRump coverage.
  19. I haven't been watching closely all day, but Gutierrez seems to posted outside the oh so yummy Versailles Cuban restaurant on "Calle Ocho" in Little Havana. They had someone there last week as well for the primaries.and all it's doing is making me seriously hungry for a Medianoche or Cubano, some fried plantains and a Café Cubano. Go away BriWi, I suppose he'll have to intro and outro the tRump AIPAC speech too.
  20. BriWi big footing Jose Diaz Balart for Cuba coverage was absolutely shameful. BriWi should be embarrassed, and not just for the awful technology problems.
  21. It appears that should Abby avoid the penitentiary, she's poised to take her mean dance lady act worldwide, please let that be permanently. The ten more episodes that Lifetime ordered takes us through their imaginary "nationals" event around the first/second week of June. Lol, Bye Felicia!
  22. But I don't think that was what Rachel was doing. I think she was asking him about his planned way forward, for clarification. I think she had information about what was being discussed on Sanders' campaign calls and pressed him about it. They were very quiet for a day after his big losses this past Tuesday but this was the first time anyone from the campaign chose to speak publicly. The plan doesn't just include flipping super-delegates, they want to go back and try to flip pledged delegates per Tad Davine and Jeff Weaver. I think it's news, and maybe Rachel did as well because it's completely counter to their previous efforts to force super-delegates to flip if the state they came from voted for Sanders which also includes at least one widely circulated petition that addresses the super-delegates as being undemocratic.
  23. I haven't watched today's show yet, nor am I caught up on the Crime series, had to premise this question with that. Is that a plot point in the series maybe? Some innuendo there perhaps? Now I'm just spoiling myself, lol.
  24. At least my beloved Ayman Mohyeldin made an appearance today!
