But can they not drop their bags while they're pushing the wheelbarrow? Oh, it looks like they finally did. -

I think Juan and Shane made the correct choice under the circumstances. -

Millie jumped that train in India and left not only the crew but her partner in Season 4 (I think?). -

The local player is definitely taking it easy on Leticia. -

Maybe it's like the really really good table tennis players who stand something like three feet from the table vs us poor slobs who stand right up at the table? The poor slobs get to stand on the blue part? -

That looks like fun -- but Ricky's opponent seems to be taking it pretty easy on him. -

Y'know, rolling up the window in an open car in the rain really isn't going to make much difference. -
Instaget FJ for me, and hand me that asterisk, too! I never even considered another agency, and was surprised at the contestants' answers. I also got the TS of Longfellow, Pynchon, The Tunnel, Hall & Oates, Madama Butterfly (total guess), and metrology (also a guess, but I logic'ed my way to that guess). I was rooting for Nils or Amy.

So, super-navigator Danny asks Cesar and Ricky for help navigating? And they're driving open cars in the rain. -
That goes along nicely with mental flatulence.

Commercials That Annoy, Irritate or Outright Enrage
Browncoat replied to Maverick's topic in Commercials
And into houses. A couple of kids were killed/seriously injured recently when a car crashed into their house. I don't like that commercial, either, and I haven't even seen it! -
We have some unusual pronunciations in Virginia. We have a Buchanan County (and a town, but the town of Buchanan is not in Buchanan County), but it's pronounced, "Buck-canon," not "Byu-canon," like the President.

Using AI to write your paper is cheating. It bothered me tremendously that Marty would even suggest it. That bothered me, too. Same. And foisting blue on boys, too. Or just the genderization of colors in general.

I guess I haven't picked up enough by cultural osmosis -- I did not get FJ tonight. And the only TS I got were How Will I Know?, down on the corner, and right whale.

We first went to DisneyWorld during Spring Break in 1972. It was very low cost (maybe free?) to get in, but then you had to buy ticket books to ride the rides. There were several different books, and they contained different combinations of rides. So, if you wanted to go to the Haunted Mansion and the teacups, you might need two books. It was a lot of work to figure out the right books for the rides you wanted! At that time, we stayed in Daytona and drove over for the day.

Faux Life: Things That Happen On TV But Not In Reality
Browncoat replied to Kromm's topic in Everything Else TV
As soon as the temperature moderates in the spring, and until it starts to get cold in the fall, I am barefoot in my house. In the winter, it's usually socks and slippers (or house shoes as we say in these here parts). I don't go barefoot outside except at the beach, although when I was a kid, I was barefoot outside most of the time in the summer. I did wear shoes to ride bikes. -

There was an episode of The West Wing where Mandy (I think) was walking around in bare feet. At some point, we got to see the bottoms of her feet, and they were absolutely filthy. I don't remember which episode that was, though. -
Archive game for me for last night, and an instaget FJ, too. And then I started thinking about Gidget. I also got the TS of Your Holiness, acoustics, TKTS booth, infra, 5280, Encanto, Pierrot (although I would have spelled it with just one R), and Freaks & Geeks. Same!

I'll try that the next time I'm on the iPad. Thanks!
