Thank you, Big Bird, for keeping me from being shut out this week. Yes, I know it's only Thursday, but given my blanks so far, I don't have high hopes for tomorrow's game. Big Bird was not an instaget, but it was close -- I focused on the "50 years" part. The only TS I got were grammar, "in the eating", and satyr.

I saw the rabbit one last night. It was really cute.

In Memoriam: Entertainment Industry Celebrity Deaths
Browncoat replied to Kromm's topic in Everything Else TV
Falling, hitting your head, and dying in your sleep must be more common than we know, since there’s even a nursery rhyme about it. “He bumped his head, went to bed, and couldn’t get up in the morning.” -
I got that part, having played many many games of Pong back in the day, but with nothing else to go on, I’m not scanning any QR codes. I barely want to scan the ones associated with something I am familiar with.

I can't really say I'm sorry to see them go -- they were good entertainment. But they definitely screwed up the worst this leg.

Where the hell are Arun and Natalia going?
-
I am actually amazed that Ryan got that.

I kind of love Dmitra at the souvlaki stand. OMG, the twins are eating another one!
-
He is really not paying attention, is he? I am sad to say that that would probably be me -- looking at the birds and trees and all the things while my mind wandered. And I don't even have ADHD!

I'm quite impressed with Penn! First for standing there so patiently and paying such close attention, and then for remembering all of those saints -- not only what they looked like, but the little fact, too.

We have a local restaurant called "Souvlaki". Also, souvlaki are delicious.

"Don't talk to the priest."

Read the damn clue! I feel like I say that every episode.
-
I wondered that, too.

I am getting so hungry just watching this. Dudebro, shut up.

Ha! Colorado extracurricular activities.

Can they eat their mistakes?

I like that all the clues are scattered in the trees.

Oof, that second game was painful. So much going backwards! And the first game had so many TS! I got both FJs, and the second was an instaget. TS I got were: Game 1: Old Man of the Mountain, iron, Pirates, CO2, Constitution, William Shatner, calyx, Cicero, Canary Islands, and statistics Game 2: magnolia, mortarboard, and something that looks like scale. I hate when I can't read my own writing.

Yay, more self-driving! And a stick shift!

Me, apparently! 😁

Yet again, I had no idea for FJ. I may be suffering from Jeopardy! burnout -- catching up from last night plus tonight's regular show and the college tournament. So much Jeopardy! But I was able to come up with the TS of Nicely, feathers, swans, and Raleigh. I will miss Dave and his mohawk, but the new champ is good, too. I was rooting for the woman, though.

Awwww, sad that the W&M girl didn't move on. At least she got to play in FJ, though. Raymond was a BEAST on that buzzer. Surprisingly, I got both FJs last night! And both were almost instagets. I almost said Schrodinger, but remembered the Uncertainty Principle in plenty of time. As for TS: Game 1: Biochemistry, and sedition/edition Game 2: Manhattan, mahalo, uvea, and carotid.

Catching up from last night. I also said White for FJ because of the style guide. Hemingway never occurred to me, and I have no specific recollection of ever having read any of his books. I did, however, read The Jungle in high school, which put me off hot dogs for a long time. I never have liked any kind of sausage. So I got The Jungle, the maze, solar plexus, and red blood cells. Catching up on the college tourney now.

We do not. 🙂 I prefer my pineapple to be ham-free.
