FYI - Today's episode stopped a few minutes in due to President Biden's announcement about the Israel/Hamas ceasefire deal and then reporters doing their jobs. However, @GHScorpiosRule you'll love Elizabeth's line to Lucky 😂 as they're sitting in the restaurant (not Bobbie's!) together looking like a couple out on a date. She got her line out, he looked over at Cyrus, and then the news cut in. Show back on at 2:28. DAMN feel the burnnn! Gooo Tracy!! First to Sonny, about the murder of AJ so that Monica can't see her son and to Jason, about telling Monica to her face that you're going to take her great grandchildren away. That entire guilt trip that made Jason get all teary, was amazing. He more than had it coming for decades. JE is such a gem! Jason choosing Monica's love for the kids over Sonny/Michael and Tracy tearfully hugging him was just a woowww moment. And Sonny clutching his chest again by the Qs front door as he leaves (alone) has such a ring of karma to it. Loved seeing Lucky persuade Elizabeth that they should stay and enjoy their dinner together (after Cyrus had been escorted out). Hopefully she's getting the hint that Lucky sees her in a more-than-friends/exes kind of way. It's so nice to see them both wearing nice clothes, having a heartfelt conversation, and agreeing to do things "our" way. Joss demonstrates she's dumber than a box of rocks. She deserved Anna yelling at her. I LOVE the preview of Tracy letting Carly have it when she shows up at the Q mansion. I can't tell if she's yelling at Carly about Monica, or Bobbie. ETA: Carly and her WSB buddy were on and so were Cody/Sasha, Gio/Trina and Felicia/nuEmma in a bar scene but I didn't watch/pay attention due to not caring about these characters and also boredom.

We don't know if the PCPD will or won't intercede; nuLulu was mouthing off to support Tracy but nobody actually contacted the police. I was really disappointed that neither Tracy nor Martin seemed to realize/remember that Det. Harrison Chase, who escorted the social worker to Nina's to get the kids, is BLQ's husband and lives right there in the Q mansion. When Martin mentioned calling the police, I wanted him to open the door and bellow in the direction of the stairs, "Det. Chase, are you home? You're needed downstairs!" Although it would be a very awkward day for Chase if he had to arrest both his grandmother-in-law and the mayor's attorney brother for disorderly conduct. I agree it's not up to nuLulu to speak for Dante or anyone else on the PCPD.
-
Tracy and Monica both know that Monica has no say regarding custody and where the kids live. Tracy acknowledged that to nuLulu once Martin left. Tracy said she doesn't care about possibly being in legal trouble. Her perspective seems to be she is really worried about Monica's physical and mental health and thinks keeping the great grandchildren there gives Monica some measure of happiness.
-
Yep. Plus NuLulu told Martin that she doubts Det. Dante Falconeri or his PCPD colleagues will help take the children away from his brother's home. Martin left, telling them "it's not over", Willow exited the gatehouse without the kids (because Sasha pressured her to let them go w/the nanny to the main house for cookies Grandma Monica wants them to have) and thought she was getting her kids at the main house. The next thing you know, Felicia stops Carly from going in to sit with unconscious Michael and Carly looks shocked.
-
So glad to see JJ in the opening credits, finally!! Loved Tracy snarking at nuLulu and then giving her a reality check. Good for her, when she's being asked to bank roll the "find Charlotte and bring her home" mission. I also loved seeing Lucky in investigative mode, then treating Joss as the interrupting/annoying entitled young person she is and the WTF look on his face when she thanked him like she's an officer while he's a witness and then walked away. BHerbst's hair looks gorgeous and I really enjoyed Elizabeth, nuLucas and Lucky talking about Cyrus and the patients' deaths. Since Wiley and Amelia were supposedly getting cookies, in the main house, I was expecting him to hear something since Tracy and Marty were so loudly bellowing at each other. The only good thing is the writers made clear that Tracy is refusing to let the kids go because of Monica, not because she is suddenly invested in Michael or his children. I enjoyed Nina slamming the door in Drew's face and I thought she would slap him when he was all "I'm sorry I hurt your feelings, but..." The Willow-Sasha showdown was unexpected. Is the Show now trying to tell us that Sasha never fell out of love with Michael? I wonder if Sasha will move into the gatehouse once she acknowledges to everyone she's pregnant. I guess they are trying to move the burn storyline along quickly with CD exiting. It's been what, a day or two at most? since Michael got burned and Carly's all "the world is cruel and I don't want Michael to have to live with scars - yes, let's send him to where Ava was treated!" Umm, maybe be sure he's not going to die first?! I did like Felicia telling her and Jason nope, you can't see Michael. How's it feel to have karma bite you, Carls? I wish Joss and Donna heard their mother tell Jason that Michael is "perfect." Did anyone else get a good laugh out of the preview of Joss telling Anna to arrest Cyrus?
-
I wasn't trying to start a fight and wasn't even thinking of Jason because he only moved in there for Danny's sake. I was mostly thinking of Monica, Tracy, Ned and Olivia, BLQ, and Lucas (I know he's not a Q but he was Bobbie's son/is Michael's uncle and has known the Q family his entire life because Bobbie and Tony were colleagues with Monica and Alan).
-
It's the details of this situation, which are disgusting to the family: they both live on the Q property and Drew used the proximity and Willow's concern for his young daughter to his advantage, Drew is getting with a much younger (and very naive) woman, the first time they had sex was in the children's playroom (kids including the teenagers could have witnessed as I don't think they locked the door), and he didn't just break up a marriage a la Jason/Courtney/AJ - the couple has two young children. Neither Monica nor Ned had young children at the time of their affair either.
-
That's Stella's perception of her; Tracy and Stella being friends only happened in recent history. Tracy is sad and worried, which Stella sees. I interpreted that part of the conversation as her friend encouraging her to love all the kids and take over the matriarch role from Monica in order to support her in her failing health, instead of mourning that Monica's spark is gone.
-
I didn't expect that and would be horrible to include such a comment in this conversation, because a) Molly's situation and suffering and b) Stella never had children. She helped raise her sister Irene's sons, Thomas and Curtis. I can't imagine Tracy saying something so hurtful to her friend Stella.

It was eerie that today's episode felt like a set-up/lead-in for Monica's death when Tracy said after Monica's injury and health issues, now hearing the news about Drew's betrayal and Michael's severe injuries, she won't leave her room. Tracy saying to Cody "Quartermaines stick together" and JE had tears in her eyes, I assume she knew at that time that LC was very ill and would not be returning. In fact, I got the impression JE was trying to hold back tears in multiple scenes as she talked about Monica. The two gross moments though were a) Tracy talking to Cody like Willow and her attorney are kidnappers who want to steal the children from the house and b) Tracy and Stella's sexist "women/mothers are natural with babies but the daddies have to be taught how to hold babies." For once, someone deserved Carly screaming in their face. Drew interjecting into the conversation/speaking for Willow/trying to control and manipulate Willow in front of Carly was creepy as hell. Glad that Willow got a win but her hugging Drew, thanking him profusely and leaving with him before she finishes the conversation with Portia and Isaiah? Ick. Ewww. Yuck. I empathized with Nina's worried/dismayed look. Willow should be thanking her mother. And Isaiah for saving Michael once she finds out what happened. Good for Laura for calling her daughter out on getting in over her head. NuLulu, you know she's serious when she calls you "Lesley Lu" twice. Of course Dante was right that the sniper followed you. Preview: So now college student Joss is going to cousin Lucky for info on Cyrus? Stop it, Show.

Am I the only one who liked this episode (aside from Vic returning)? I loved the scenes about Susannah's book and everyone being more connected in the present. I thought Kat was finally finding some peace and moving forward with her family and Elliot. It was good to get some answers about the Coyle's sticker on Colton's guitar, the Colton-Lillian history and her obvious dismay/jealousy of his instant attraction to Del, etc. The one thing I'm not clear on is Vic. Did he actually return to get his late wife's/Elliot's mother's ring to give to his new fiance and pressure Elliot to be "best man" or did he return to get the ring because he needs money? I had assumed the way Del behaves is because of Jacob's tragic disappearance. Yet it seems like she was reserved, unfriendly and anti-youthful fun even when she was young. Their first interaction made it seem like she was a young adult annoyed by a teenage boy's ignorance about music she liked. It's also clear that Colton was a time traveler and Del will not consider that her idealized husband had done so but kept it a secret.

The one thing that I thought sounded like absolute truth from Joss today was her line that Michael saved you from a life without Wiley. The whole Michael-Willow relationship was about that kid. The one thing that I thought sounded like absolute truth from Drew today was his line to Carly about her history with AJ and Sonny - that she placed Michael in Sonny's dangerous life for her own wants/needs, not for Michael's sake. There aren't enough eye rolls for Willow literally running into Drew's arms crying for help that "they took my kids!" KSt, LH and MW all look really beautiful in this episode. Good to see Lucy after LH's terrible loss. I guess Isaiah and Lucas save Michael's life but he's in an indefinite coma between the burns and the digitalis injection? The look on Carly's face was pretty funny when Willow declared herself Michael's wife and decision maker regarding his care. (Because of Drew's advice.) Only Sonny would declare doing right/we've raised great kids when one of them is dead from a car bomb and the eldest is critically injured for a second time. In a game of least amount of self-awareness between Sonny, Carly, and Drew, I honestly don't know who wins.

I'm legit shocked that Willow knows about Joss cheating on Cam. I thought only Joss, Dex and Cam knew this for sure because Joss never even acknowledged/admitted it to Trina. Spencer strongly suspected. Did I miss a scene where Joss confided in Michael/Michael and Willow? She was never close to Willow to admit to her in a little sister confiding in big sister type of way. What both of these women did was awful, but in terms of "big life consequences" Willow's actions - and Michael's with Sasha - are definitely worse. Neither one was thinking of their children. They got together in the first place because she never grieved her child/was unhealthily attached to Wiley and he wanted to keep Wiley away from Nelle. He always had a thing for Willow anyway (from before she and Chase were a couple) and dangled permanent motherhood of Wiley in her face ... so here we are. I never believed Willow was genuinely in love with Michael in the first place. She was infatuated with him for offering her Wiley and giving her a bigger family. You can't really build a marriage on mutual attachment to a child.
-
I sort of get it, in the twisted thinking of the Port Charles universe. Sonny told Carly that Michael came to the Penthouse to talk to him about Willow and the state of their marriage. Sonny knows that Michael is divorcing Willow after finding out that she took Wiley to DC without telling him, for Drew's swearing-in. In real life, yeah it was Michael's free will to go there but ultimately Sonny's fault because he has enemies that want to kill him. But in the minds of those who don't want to really hold Sonny accountable for *reasons*, it's Willow and Drew's fault because Michael went to see Sonny to talk about them. They do see Drew and Willow as having "lit the match" - just not literally. It's not just Michael's immediate family who thinks the affair is gross - so does Ned. So did Trina. And BLQ, etc. It turns out that the Drew and Willow actors have a 26-year age difference. Between that and how CM's Drew is coming off as a predator leaning into Willow's hero worship hard, I understand the reactions. (Yes, I know there are such large gaps in some relationships in real life, but in my opinion it means the two people will never, ever be equals.)
-
So, are you saying Diane showed up at the hospital with a court order that Carly gets custody of the two kids?
-
She said she needed to get back to her room because Wiley could wake up. Amelia didn't come to DC with them. I guess Willow never heard of the McCann Family's vacation story; little Madeline was kidnapped from her bed while the parents were out to dinner with other adults/parents. She vanished sometime in between the adults taking turns checking on the kids. She was never seen again, although I think eventually someone sort of confessed to her murder?
-
No, Setton came back with the fake pregnancy belly because the temp BLQ had a ONS with Valentin and she thought she could con him/fix past mistakes re: family. I don't remember any references to her actually being pregnant and having a miscarriage.
-
He called Carly to cancel their meal plans (prior to Michael being rushed to the hospital), saying he was covering for Dr Whatever their name is. I doubt Sonny or Jason signed a waiver. The mean part of me wants someone to ask Carly if she's going to send Donna away to military school like she did with Morgan, the first time Michael was critically wounded. I assume her response is she's going to sue for full custody of Donna, Wiley and Amelia.
-
Yeah, that was my reaction when I had really bad timing today and tuned in as they were guilt-free in bed together. Willow: "In a perfect world, we would be together." Girl, you need lots of therapy STAT. Also BLQ and Lois are acknowledging - SHOCKER - that BLQ was pregnant in the past unintentionally. She's getting all emotional that she's not pregnant yet when they've been trying for what, 2 months at the most? Her angst and "I can't tell my husband nowwww that I've been pregnant before" is so OTT. She sounds like she's scared to tell him she wasn't a virgin when they got married. At least Lois has some sense in her brain. Here's a thought - you're newlyweds without a baby right now, how about you finally go on that honeymoon to Italy you were so excited about?! Sheesh. "Nina, what Willow and I do is none of your business." He's such a slime ball; glad Nina was able to shut him down and get her on the phone. Hopefully his sexual relationship with Nina gets outed soon. Willow looks so pathetic and naive. Surgeon Lucas working on his nephew Michael and delivering the news to the family makes me roll my eyes. Carly, looking at your brother like you're going to bite his head off if you don't get the positive news you want is not helping. From mid-nose to his hair including his eyes, Michael wasn't burned at all? Oh please.
-
This and a few other scenes made me wonder if we're supposed to get persuaded that Anna going off the rails and also possibly having romantic feelings for Jason isn't so WTF in comparison. It's been well publicized that CD is leaving the role of Michael, but this seemed to have zero build-up like the out-of-no-where reveal that Holly and Robert are supposedly Sasha's parents. I guess the Show had limited options to keep the Michael character from leaving Port Charles with his kids/abandoning pregnant Sasha and possibly bring Chad back in the future without repeating what they've done with tween Michael, adult Morgan, BM's Drew, NAC's Spencer, Jason, or ER's Lulu. This Show sure makes some interesting choices. I had forgotten an old episode would be on today, and tuned in to see they had chosen one with adult Spencer (now "dead") arguing with Ava, fired/ex-Nikolas and Esme (dead) in the early stages of crossing the line, and Brando (murdered on the Show and in real life) with his mother (no longer part of the cast) and Sasha, talking about being a lucky man. UGH!!
-
Okay, but if he was trying to target Michael specifically, to hurt Sasha, Holly and Sonny, I don't understand targeting Sonny's Penthouse. Michael visits but doesn't live there, like plenty of other people. Why not blow up Michael's work/office? Or have Michael followed up and try to blow him up while he's having a secret meeting with Sasha?
-
True, but I don't recall any scenes of Jenz finding out about Holly and Sonny making a diamonds deal. Did I miss something about Jenz declaring vengeance on Sonny and Jason for their association with Holly? Same.
-
So....are we supposed to think Jenz Sidwell raced out to the balcony at Wyndemere to watch his handiwork as Sonny's penthouse exploded in fire? But Sonny had nothing to do with the disappearance of the diamond(s). It came off to me as so weirdly staged. Michael catching on fire was such a WTF moment - right after Drew declares his love for Willow, another WTF moment. Hey Jason, if Sonny wants to run into a burning room to save Michael, let him. Joss has access to a gun just after her boyfriend has been murdered and her brother is flailing around on fire in her hated ex-stepfather's home. What could possibly go wrong.
-
Demi Moore (ex-Jackie Templeton) won a Golden Globe tonight. Her dress is beautiful and her speech was very empowering! Brava! Now I'm wondering if we'll ever see or hear reference (other than the very brief mention between the newlyweds, post- wedding) to Chase's mother again. I thought there would be some mention of Jackie when Gregory passed away but nothing (that I recall).

The problem is NuLulu's delusional mindset. She told Rocco she was going to get Charlotte and bring her home, to make "our family whole." Lulu bringing Charlotte back to Port Charles doesn't really solve anything. Charlotte would likely run away because she's worried about/misses "Papa." She's also a much more experienced domestic and international traveler than Lulu is, so Lulu is at a disadvantage if Charlotte wanted to hide. There are also other factors: just as Charlotte doesn't want to leave Valentin, Rocco doesn't want to leave Danny and Scout, whom he considers to be his brother and sister. Is NuLulu going to move into the Q mansion and play mommy to Sam's kids? I think not. Does Lulu have her own place that Rocco and Charlotte can call home, if, in theory, she got them to agree to live together with her? No - Maxie's living there with her kids. Does Lulu have a job yet? Also no. All she has is a vague fantasy in her head of her and Dante with the two kids.
