JJ's Lucky and Sam were in at least one scene together during JJ's Fall 2009-December 2011 run. I remember Lucky went to check up on Lulu and had a scene with JMB's Lulu and Sam because original Franco kidnapped the two women, told Jason he strapped them both to bombs and it was up to Jason to save one/decide who lived and who died.

Allll the kudos to KV, KM, BA, JJ, DZ, FFC, NLG, and the two Jason-Danny hugs in front of everyone, really made me cry as they spoke about Sam during the funeral. I am not the type to cry from television. The child actors, their eyes glistening/watering with unshed, tears, was heartbreaking. Elizabeth's tribute/saying she's "proud" of the place she and Sam had reached as co-parents seemed appropriate. Carly had to speak because that's how this Show rolls, but telling all the loved ones that she respected Sam is absolute b.s. CM couldn't even manage a glistening eye. Did he fall asleep briefly? I swear I saw closed eyes. Even Portia, who barely knew Sam, showed more emotion. And why on G-d's green earth was Gio (not sure he ever even met Sam and playing violin as people left seemed out of place) included in the funeral but not Sam's brother, Leo? It can't be about the actor's age because the other kid actors were there for all the scenes yet the girl who plays Scout is younger than the boy who plays Leo. Alexis looking absolutely gutted, sitting alone briefly, was so very sad and that montage of Sam with various friends and family at the end also made me tear up. Farewell, Kelly Monaco. I thought Laura would be entering Lulu's hospital room or asleep in the corner since she wasn't at the funeral. I call b.s. that Lulu would be alone in her room and would have the strength to lift her hands to her face after years in a coma. Instead of emotional Laura, Cyrus is in the preview with Lulu? Ick.

He's an equal opportunity bastard, not just to Alexis. He likes to act as if he never locked pregnant Carly in a panic room for however long it was, was not the cause of Elizabeth going blind (temporarily), never attacked Elizabeth on the witness stand about her marriage and Jason and the paternity of her baby and then sneered at her about Jason when she called him cruel. But he's a jerk to Alexis, to his own former stepdaughter (who used to call him Daddy Ric, and he's been a pushy jerk to Elizabeth on multiple occasions. Both brothers are shitty humans however Sonny has a higher body count. I was under the impression from the lack of mentions over the years that Molly and Ric have hardly been in touch since he left. Alexis had to get on the phone and yell at him to come to the baby's funeral. He was also Kristina's stepfather for a while when she was a young child, so he should show that he feels at least a tiny bit of compassion for everything she's been through. Instead, he uses info obtained from Molly to provoke Kristina and tells her to her face it's her fault the baby died. He's acting like he has always thought Kristina was a loser and that his "love" for Molly is superficial. It seems to me more like his presence is about wanting to make Alexis suffer for having children other than his daughter.

Yup. Elizabeth literally said that to his face in their scene last week at the bar.

Utterly heartbreaking: Scout upset over her dad's injured face and reminding him of his promise to stay with her, Maxie's monologue to Sam's photo, and Alexis being upset and getting support from her daughters over breaking her bracelet from Sam. Is Ric trying to be more of a low-life than his brother? Loved NLG's delivery of Alexis's lines to Ric as he sneered at/taunted her right before the funeral. I was half expecting him to say Sam deserved to die. Elizabeth and Aiden are such a sweet mother-son duo. Awwww. And kudos to BHerbst for the look, and reaction, Elizabeth gave Lucky about talking with Brennan. lol Please tell me Nina turns Drew's other cheek purple too when she finds out he lied to her face about him and Willow, as she's helping him right before the funeral. I figured one of the kids would overhear them talking about Jason. Good reaction by Rocco. What nuLucas said was right no matter how much Maxie wanted to dismiss it, and he kind of deserved to have a devastated teenage boy yell at him. Don't care about Trina's new romance. So nuLulu makes her grand (unconscious) debut as Sam's funeral is underway tomorrow. Of course.

I agree since Trina isn't behaving like she's crushing on or attracted to Gio (other than great admiration for his musical talent) and TJ and Molly are clearly about to break up. TJ being so cold and unemotional with Alexis and Molly about Sam's death when he's been around Sam often for approx. 10 years due to his relationship with Molly, is horrible. I realize he's in doctor mode at the hospital but I see zero compassion. I saw the TJ-Molly hug and what he said to her, but he's supposed to be the love of her life. A neighbor or old childhood friend could have done the same. Did he even remember her birthday? I also agree about TR. I was a little taken aback at how old and frail he looked in the dim light when Holly and Robert had their reunion scene before getting on the plane. Worse than when he paused and looked back at Diane from the doorway before exiting.

When Lucky was saying that being a cop "didn't work out well" for him, I thought it was a vague reference to the downhill trajectory of his life once he got hurt on the job and got addicted to drugs. If he had never been a police officer and been in that situation, would he and Elizabeth still be happily married with a great family life? I figured Lucky went to Sonny for advice as a sort of stand-in for Luke since Sonny and Luke were best friends. Sonny doesn't want to criticize Luke's pride and joy or outright say to Lucky, you're making a big mistake if you leave, but he also believes Lucky belongs in Port Charles with Aiden, Laura and the rest of Luke's family. When he mentioned being on "thin ice" with Laura, it seemed like he genuinely did not want Laura to be upset with him anymore, so he was NOT going to encourage Lucky to leave. Yes, I thought Anna was jealous that Robert took off with Holly. Also that Felicia was calling Robert, Holly and Sasha a family as if that is comparable to Robert, Anna and Robin. It seems like Elizabeth is remembering the good qualities of Lucky she fell in love with and longs to have a family life/co-parent now that the lies and affairs are in the distant past (and Franco is deceased), while Aiden is still a teenager - she sees Aiden growing attached to those qualities as well. There was tension between them often from the time Cam was a toddler until Lucky abandoned 7ish-year-old Cam and baby Aiden, because of Lucky's addiction, and both of them lying and having affairs. Neither Jason nor Lucky made themselves available to co-parent Jake from the time he was 8 years old (when Luke and Lucky brought him home). I think she wants to give Aiden, herself and Lucky a new family life but is mostly in denial about it because she doesn't believe that Lucky has the emotional maturity for it and won't make the effort to be what Aiden needs long-term. My personal opinion is that seeing Lulu wake up and be heartbroken over how much time she's lost with Rocco, and Rocco's joy over having his mom back, will be the mental smack Lucky needs regarding his own son (and Elizabeth).

If he actually loves his daughter Molly, he should care that she just lost her sister, and esp. that she's suffering this loss so soon after the loss of a baby. UGH. Instead of seeing his daughter for her birthday and providing emotional support to her in this major loss, he's showing up immediately at the Quartermaines and is gleeful at the idea of prosecuting Jason for a fist fight, and then goes right over to Jason's room to get in his face about Drew. I'm really not sure which one of the guys on this Show wins the worst father award.
-
JJ looks ridiculous pretending to box/punch a bag and Lucky sounds like an ass for whining that he should leave because he doesn't have a "purpose." Poor Aiden. The only positive thing is Lucky's hair doesn't look filthy in the scenes at Sonny's gym and in the hospital with his best bud. BHerbst did a beautiful job conveying Elizabeth's anger, hurt and disappointment in Lucky, to Terri. Deep down, she still loves him. It's a sad day when between Jason and Carly, she sounds like the mature and level-headed one. It's so weird to see her angry at Jason. Clearly it didn't matter to Jason, or occur to him, that Scout is already traumatized and could react badly to seeing her father's face beaten. Of course standing up for poor man child Michael is more important to Jason than thinking of what's best for two actual children who just lost their mom. Shut UP, Felicia. Does she really adore Holly that much to have the rose-colored glasses and totally romanticize the Robert and Holly mess? It's at least good to see Anna worried about Robert and not thinking of Jason.
-
Michael is just getting his karma for having sex with Willow while she was married to his "friend" Chase. Jason going after Drew for Michael just proves again what a man-child Michael is. Much as I don't like the character, it should be Liesl Obrecht going after Drew for having sexual relationships with her niece and grand niece. And she can remind both Drew and Willow that she, not Drew, saved Willow's life. Drew deserves the anger that Dr. O aimed at Elizabeth for Britt's death. Tracy and Dr. O taking down Drew would be a helluva lot more interesting than watching Tracy and Cody. Tracy or Dr. O plotting would be much more entertaining than anyone in PC punching Drew. Why/when did Dr. O leave Port Charles? I only remember her being angry at Scott for having the audacity to disagree with her about Britt's death.

I think the writers were sloppily (as always) trying to have Kristina say she knows the older sister is supposed to be the one the younger sister can depend on/look up to and she doesn't know how to be that person for Molly. Kristina was the older sister when they were young children, yes, but Molly wasn't depending on her for emotional support at that age. IIRC they were younger than the tween years when Sam was revealed to be their big sister/Alexis's long ago given up daughter. Big sister Sam was there for Kristina at important moments, like getting birth control, when she was vulnerable after being beaten by Kiefer, when she needed to be rescued from the cult, etc. Kristina is afraid of being "not enough" after the example Sam set for them.
-
That's not accurate. Molly started dating TJ when they were both teenagers. He decided to go to med school while they were a couple. When HP's Molly was hurt and angry that TJ appeared to be done with her (he disappeared due to being kidnapped and Jordan, as a cover up, was nasty to her about rejecting TJ's marriage proposal), she had a ONS with white guy Brando Corbin.

I see this as Anna trying to emotionally distance herself from Robert/their memories because she knows (although not admitting it to others) how badly she has screwed up her life and career because of her feelings for Duke, the mess with Peter/Henrich, more recently her feelings for Valentin and guilt over Charlotte, and now her feelings (ick) for Jason. I don't recall that Lucky ever had a relationship with Robert. I would insert "Maxie" whom he definitely considers family, instead of Lucky.
-
It means they believe the retcon because Luke adored tween Lucky, and vice versa. (The fall out over him finding out about Laura being raped happened years later.) Luke was thrilled when he found out he and Laura were having a baby girl. I remember JJ's Lucky and possibly also GV's Lucky saying they didn't want to be "like my old man." I watched five minutes. Well, I see Jason has a big mad for Drew. I guess this is how Nina finds out that Drew is having sex with her daughter too. The only thing I liked about the preview is apparently Ned breaks up the brawl between his cousins. Ned should be in many more family scenes while Michael and Drew should be in many less.

Okay, so I wasn't imaging that the storyline over the years has strongly implied, when it wasn't outright said, that Robert and Anna are the great loves of each other's lives. Yes, I'm really disappointed in the writing for Lucky Spencer. The moment he knows Lulu isn't about to die and therefore his mother doesn't need him to hold her hand as she says good-bye, he's ready to leave when he doesn't even have a job/assignment waiting for him. I hate the attitude that well, I'm not my mother or sister's hero in this situation so why bother staying. Until Lulu wakes up (soon) the reason he is staying in Port Charles is because he's been shamed by his ex-wife into trying to build a relationship with his son. It's awful when you remember how Lucky loved being a dad to little Cameron and Jake and "prayed to God" that Aiden was his.

My comment was about the Show's intention to pair Trina with a black man after all the hate that TA (Trina actress) got online for being in a storyline with (perceived Caucasian) Spencer played by NAC. I know Spencer was supposed to be half Greek since he was a Cassadine although I've never bothered to look up NAC's background/nationality. Then the Show led us to believe that Gio was going to be Trina's new romance or at least flirtation esp. after the way he emerged from the Metrocourt pool, which triggered Trina to think of when Spencer did it the same way. I don't care about Gio one way or another. You're right about it being a cliche, although it seemed to me more like an altered version of the beginning with Spencer once she knew he was Spencer. This guy has everything handled for him and has not been invested in academics whereas Trina takes school seriously and is appalled by him. Of course, athlete Joss is impressed by the jock.

Not to mention, Robert is still the district attorney. What's he going to do, leave a note saying "Hey, ADA Lansing-Davis can handle all my responsibilities 'til you all decide what you want to do with my job. Deuces!" We know from his conversation with Diane that he was already aware (didn't react with surprise or shock) Sam has just died. He also is aware that Molly is Sam's sister, and he knows Molly and Sam's mother. Molly is going to need some time off to grieve/support her family in grief. I call total bullshit that Robert would leave without saying goodbyes to his loved ones and would also leave his job in such an unprofessional and inconsiderate manner, when he is aware of Molly's family loss(es). Infuriated? Ridiculous. Everything Elizabeth said was spot-on and Lucky deserved it since he wanted Elizabeth's blessing/absolution to abandon their son. I also think it's sloppy writing that Lucky and nuLucas haven't had a single conversation about memories of Mom/Aunt Bobbie or even of sister/cousin Lulu (when Lucky's supposed to be an important part of this storyline!. No scenes of Lucky and stepfather Kevin or even a mention that Lucky has acknowledged Kevin's presence while living at their place, no mention of Lucky developing a relationship with Ace, bare minimum interaction with his old friend/PCPD partner and ex-BIL Dante and not a single actual conversation with Lulu's son, his nephew. He's seen Aiden what, twice? It seems like the writers think it's important that Lucky has more than two scenes with Jason, Laura, and Elizabeth only (aside from newbie Isaiah).

Baby Daddy day for Elizabeth, huh? It's so disappointing (but not at all surprising) that Elizabeth of all people pressured Jason not to let anyone make him "give up Danny." And of course, he looked at her like she's lost it when she said he could live with the Quartermaines. Why the need for Laura to call Lucky to come to the hospital? Doesn't he live with Laura right now? She was talking like she hadn't seen him in a while. Diane declaring that Robert needs to go be with Holly because of the "love," him walking out with a sad/confused/give up expression like he's a very frail old man, and then Diane crying to Anna about how do you get over Robert ... so much WTF to me. Was this - Robert getting on the plane with Holly - seriously TR's last scene?! Is he really not going to have any more scenes with his family/Anna or his newly discovered daughter? "I don't know where home is anymore without Mom." The best line Danny has had with this actor in the role. He was good in his scenes with his Dad at the Qs. This scene (SB showing emotion) was the first time since Jason's return that I believed Jason feels real love for his son. Good for Elizabeth for (finally) telling off Lucky about being a child abandoner. BHerbst was on fire!! Yes, Lucky, you deserve to feel those tears of shame. Laura, you can't make demands to Lulu. That's now how medicine works. I guess the Show is making the racist viewers happy since it's obvious Trina's new romance will be with the star black athlete who provoked her anger, instead of Gio.

It seems like this storyline should have Robin involved, to confront/call out Holly like she once did to Lisa, the woman who had a ONS with Patrick. And to talk some sense into Robert (esp. if this is TR's exit storyline). Robin has enough history with Holly to do so, and her putting Holly on blast would have more impact than Anna's weak "this is low, even for you."

Yes Dante is the best option, and I assume he's going to put Rocco's needs first. Rocco will not want to leave Lulu's side from the moment she wakes up. I predict that the Sam's kids + Rocco blended family will end at that time. Danny and Scout may feel a little happy for Rocco, but ultimately they will feel Mom got "sacrificed" for Lulu's life. Seeing Lulu awake and getting better will always be a reminder that their mother is gone. "You lost your mom for a few years; we lost our mom forever" type of thing. While they know Sam's death wasn't Rocco's fault, that kind of bitterness doesn't go away. I think there will be a permanent rift between Lulu's son and Sam's kids. Yes, he sat Sam's kids down on the bench to tell them because Scout was pleading to go see Mommy now. Danny already sensed bad news because he could see Jason had been crying after he made them leave the hospital. I don't agree that Lulu's kid is grieving harder. It seems like a case of Scout being traumatized and I think the young actress is performing that well. Mommy assured Scout personally that she would be fine after the surgery. Scout got teary-eyed and withdrawn because she just saw Mommy, who was saying I Love you, and now the adults are saying Mommy is dead - you'll never see her again. That's a lot for a child's mind to process.
-
Brad is considered irredeemable both because he kept the baby away from Michael and because he let Lucas get attached to/fall in love with their "son" knowing he wasn't the baby they really adopted, so he inevitably set up his husband for heartbreak. Julian was irredeemable because he (on Cyrus's order, to kill Jason) placed a bomb at a bar knowing a bunch of innocent people could get hurt or killed. Lulu wound up in a coma, Lulu's boyfriend/the teen group's English teacher died, and one of the teenagers (the boy who lived with Sonny and had a crush on Joss) died.
-
I guess Alexis considers the Penthouse to be Sam's home and expects Dante and Rocco to move out. It was stupid and not Olivia's place to be all, hey Alexis, you could live here too. Dante tears up but doesn't object/protest about her intention to have her grandkids live with her? Or maybe the "we'd stay here for a while" was a delay tactic. I saw Jason and Sasha running away as the explosion happened and rolled my eyes. Does the Show actually think the audience would think for a moment Jason didn't survive? Sasha gets a few scratches and his t-shirt is a little dirty. This "drama" was a non-event. Why is Robert calling Holly "babe"? Speaking for the audience: JE's brilliance with Tracy's mouth agape look of shock when Cody revealed the Robert/Sasha connection.
-
The last time I recall the Show directly mentioning it was when Dante and Sam were both at the Quartermaine mansion to support their mutual off-screen brother Leo for his adoption day. Mostly recently, it was *sort of* acknowledged when Scout was at the hospital with Danny and Jason (a few scenes before Sam died), telling them that Olivia and Leo say Mommy is a hero. I don't remember when it was, but Olivia said at some point that "Leo misses Julian" but is happy/blessed that Ned is a loving father to him. Any relationship between Dante and Leo or Sam and Leo has really not been acknowledged for years now. That kid is only ever seen with Chase, BLQ and family. Even BLQ's mom Lois has spent more time on-screen with Leo than his bio siblings have. I do wonder if he'll understand that his sister died saving his nephew's mom's life. It's weird (on top of his half-brother and half-sister being in a romantic relationship) to think that his adoptive dad, Ned, and his ex-SIL,Lulu, were stepsiblings via the Tracy and Luke marriage.
-
Sasha used to be Michael's girlfriend and they're still "friends", Sonny still considers her to be family (I think) because she's Brando's widow, and now she turns out to be Robin's half-sister. All that stuff matters to him.
-
This. Although the one scene about mourning Sam that rang false to me was when Elizabeth said to nuLucas, I know how much Sam meant to you. Yes, they discovered they were biological siblings some years ago and were around each other from time to time (mostly while Julian and Alexis were married, IRC) but I never saw them have anything resembling a real brother-sister relationship. It seems like the Show is now trying to claim that Lucas has had good long-term sibling relationships with Sam and Carly when he's actually rarely been seen with either of them one-on-one over the years and the three of them have seldom mentioned seeing or talking to each other.
