If Carly was so darned worried about Joss, why didn't SHE show up personally at HER FAMILY DINER to see her daughter, instead of Trina? I just can't with Anna assuming Jason must have killed Cyrus and acting like it was a big personal betrayal of their friendship/connection/whatever she thinks is between them. The Marty-Laura scene was great. Kudos for the real tear(s) and looking sick as he took in what Laura told him. I understand the Sonny-Laura moment of reflection on Luke because Lucky just became stable after saving Elizabeth, but his line about being a hero like Luke made me roll my eyes. When exactly did Luke save someone from being murdered by a serial killer? On an unrelated note, GF really looks stunning in jewel tones. Did MW put in extensions or did I miss that her hair has grown a lot?

Totally agree. I feel like this episode proved Kat isn't in love with either Elliot or Thomas. I felt sorry for Elliot. He deserves a woman who wants a real long-term relationship and is "all in." I'm not sure Kat will ever be that way with anyone. When she was college age, she intended to leave Brady because she had grown bored and wanted adventure but got back together with him and married him because she turned out to be pregnant with Alice. She's again showing she wants constant drama and adventure, rather than cooking dinner together or talking about boring (non tt) subjects with guests like Elliot's past teaching experiences. She risked her life again by going back to 1814, without a thought for Alice. The one moment that I thought was especially contrived for this Show was teen Colton showing up again in 1814 at just the right moment to save his future son from the burning Landry home. I guess now we know for sure middle-aged dying Colton recognized Kat from 1814 and must have seen the "My Katherine" painting while he was hanging out with Evelyn at Lingermore at some point (because evil Goodwin never destroyed it). I was amused he figured out from the painting and a look that Susanna is in love with Kat, yet Kat still has no idea esp. because she's pre-occupied going between Thomas and Elliott.

So NotBrennan! was right outside when Joss shot a serial killer? And wants her to never tell anyone what she did, including Carly? But he has Cyrus's body removed and the place cleaned up so that Anna and Dante still think Cyrus is out somewhere and a danger to the public? Ok, Show. The nonchalant way he's talking to Joss is creepy - like he thinks he's talking to a slightly experienced young Anna. Is this a lame way to break up his new relationship with Carly? Hey Anna, "we" didn't do anything. You have evidence and details because of Elizabeth and Lucky deciding to get answers on their own. BLQ, Chase is not going to be so understanding when he hears his best friend was the father of your retconned baby. So Drew is behaving this way because he's jealous that Jason got to grow up with the Quartermaines and they still "favor" him while rejecting Drew? The grossest moment of the Show though was Drew spitting out that he, Willow and her children are all the family Scout needs. Poor Scout!!! The BEST moment was Laura and nuLulu and Elizabeth and Aiden hugging when Portia told them she and Isaiah (re)-stabilized JJ's Lucky. Spencers for the win!! But Kevin should be there, too. She was a teenager at the time, which makes a big difference. Way too many teenagers/young adults overshare. Now we've had adults BLQ and Chase making their own personal business very public knowledge, literally running off in front of the family to go upstairs to try to conceive and even bragging to Tracy about having a lot of sex for operation baby. They are certainly not a couple who have shown they highly value their privacy.

In this particular case, I give Dante a pass given that (while Lulu was still in a coma/not long before the AH recast) BLQ told Chase all about Lulu getting pregnant by Dillon and having an abortion. As far as I know, Dante, nuLulu and Tracy still have no idea she shared Lulu's personal history with Chase. So, if BLQ gets upset with Dante for sharing her and Chase's personal business with Lulu without their knowledge or consent, she's a hypocrite.

She didn't have her cell phone on her recording what he said, so I don't think she was trying to get him to confess all. She was scared, and expressing "understanding" was buying her time to figure out how to get away from a dangerous man. At first, she had no idea if he had a concealed syringe, gun, knife, so if he was considering killing her in this moment while she was alone, perhaps showing "understanding" of his perspective would enable her to talk him into leaving.

No, Franco died on the floor of his art studio. He struggled with Peter/Heinrick and the gun went off; Peter left. Elizabeth came in moments after Jason arrived. She wanted to save Franco but really, she knew it was already too late.

Yes, that was a good way to build up the tension and another interruption should have been scripted whether Aiden came home early, a loud ring tone because Cameron is calling, whatever. It's not only unfair to the LnL2 fans, it's an unprofessional thing to do to Rebecca Herbst. She has never acted with this Wilson before, so there's zero time to get comfortable together enough, but they have to kiss as part of a great love story? Herbst is a great actress but c'mon, she's not a magician. Of course it's an awkward/uncomfortable situation and it showed in her body language. I don't recall that the partners of recasts/temp recasts for Sam, Michael, Lulu, and now NuBrennan. had to kiss them in their first scene(s). The only thing I can remember that would sort of compare is when Vanessa Marcil had to be in lingerie immediately when Brenda started on the Show.

I skipped it. No thank you. I don't understand how Anna would or could develop a crush on Jason given she knows his history with her daughter and also after the way her relationships with Duke and more recently, Valentin, ended. The Show needs to explain this, even if it's as simple/lame as she has been feeling isolated without Robert as a confidant and Jason sort of filled that void.

Fortunately it seems he will only be in three more episodes at the most, so I think the real drama and romance will be with JJ back in the role very soon. I wonder if it was meant to be underwhelming - just the cake their son made and talking about Cyrus to start out. I hope we'll get to see JJ's Lucky ask Elizabeth out on a real date and they go from there.

Yep. But what Elizabeth will remember about Valentine's Day is Cyrus showing up at her front door when she was alone in the house after notLucky! foolishly left.

Hey @GHScorpiosRule for your sanity, do not watch today. For some reason JJ was unavailable for this "Valentine's Day" episode and maybe a few more (?) so they have a temp re-cast for Lucky, who years ago the Show hired to play young Luke in flashbacks. It was beyond awkward (although BHerbst was trying her best) to see Aiden and his boyfriend surprise Elizabeth and notLucky! with a V-day cake. I turned it off. The one part I watched/thought was well done was the nuLulu and Dante conversation about the kids. The actors are playing it so I can see that their characters still love each other. Dante getting playful regarding the cupcakes she brought for Rocco and the two of them being cute together, inching just slightly in the direction of more-than-co-parents territory.

Since Elaine admitted that Sasha is a person of interest in an investigation and Sasha offered up her due date before that, she believes that Willow suspects Michael is the father and will use that info in court to get full custody of the kids. Jason agrees that Michael could lose his kids if Willow found out and he is determined to protect Michael, so he said do what you need to do. The only positive thing about the very awkward kiss scene in the police station was Anna getting her fee-fees hurt after all the time she has spent with Jason.

Sasha being in a state of panic that Elaine will figure out Michael is the father by doing the math based on her due date is absurd. Yes, someone could calculate that oh, baby was conceived around the time Michael found out his wife kissed Drew. But it's not like anyone they knew saw them in the bar together, saw them at the hotel, etc. The only moments so far that would draw attention to Michael as the possible father is a) Sasha being so deeply upset in front of Maxie and Felicia upon finding out Michael was injured and b) Sasha crying and appearing to be in despair outside Michael's hospital room when he was sedated and c) Sasha being so hostile/ judgmental toward Willow regarding Michael and his children. I think Maxie will figure it out and confront her sooner rather than later.

LOL that Mac says "With all due respect" to Anna and Martin says the same thing to Willow in the same episode. It is difficult to not flat out tell Willow she's very naive/an idiot. Mac deserves better than to listen to her whine. I liked the Mac-Sasha scene because I've hardly seen that adorable sweetness from Mac since Robin and Emma left town. I assume the brief Jason/Mac/Sasha interaction was supposed to remind the audience of when young Robin was falling in love with Jason. I felt so bad for Mac when he saw Sasha kiss Jason. Putting on a show that way for Willow was stupid. Elizabeth looks gorgeous and it was interesting to see her behave like Jason was an old friend, like there was never an attraction or emotional investment whatsoever. I LOVED seeing her present evidence to Anna and Anna's remark about Lucky was unnecessary. See Anna, this is what looks like when someone is actually working to build a case. Too bad civilians are doing your job for you since you can't be bothered. Sonny gets cards from his daughters and Carly is fixated about the possibility of Jason getting with Sasha, Trina gets dressed up for a night out with a guy, Joss gets out a gun, and a killer leaves his cabin armed with a syringe of digitalis meant for Elizabeth. Happy Valentine's Day! This. Show.

I liked the Jacob/Thomas and Jacob/Elliot scenes the best. Kat wanting to tt to have girl talk with Susannah about Elliot who is Susannah's descendant kissing his ex was just pathetic. What does it say about Kat that she doesn't have any girl friends in her own time. Lady, your friend married a man she doesn't even like to save her own life. She has bigger problems to deal with than your self-created drama with Elliot. Del and Jacob's shock upon realizing he had met young Colton in 1812(?) was well done. It will be humbling for Del after she was so very certain she would have known if Colton knew about the pond and tt.

Yes, Lucky told her he talked Jason out of killing Sidwell and she said he - Lucky - isn't a killer. She knows Jason has killed people. She has her own reasons (whether people agree with them or not) to refuse to acknowledge she heard the threat: Jason was protecting his son who is also her son Jake's brother, Elizabeth wants to take down Cyrus her way with Lucky's help because her patients died and she got banned from her workplace due his actions, and because Cyrus went behind the Spencer Family's back at Turning Woods regarding visitation of Lulu and her care in the future. Laura and Lulu will always be her son Aiden's family and she personally is close to Laura, so it makes sense that she's not going to speak up for/defend the man who is so out of control that Laura got a restraining order against him. I was hoping for a semi-Valentine's Day episode where Lucky and Elizabeth with Aiden would be together with Dante, Lulu and Rocco to toast to/celebrate Laura and Kevin's love and the return of the LnL children to her life, but I guess I don't get to have nice things. The closest we get to love in the afternoon on Valentine's Day is Kristina talking to nuLulu (at her request) about Dante and Sam's love story and Ava and Ric deciding they want to have another round of sexy times. Not even the madly in love newlyweds got to spend time together let alone older couples.

In order to draggg out an unintended pregnancy/baby story in the Q mansion while BLQ and Chase are envious of her and self-pitying about wanting to have a baby, to create false drama about Willow v. off-screen Michael and custody of their children, and to stupidly attempt to link the Scorpio/Jones Family to the Quartermaine and Corinthos Families. In the years I've been watching, the Show has given Bobbie, Alexis, Monica (via Alan), Nina, Luke, Sonny, Scott, Mac, and most recently Robert long-lost adult children. Now the retcon for Dante and BLQ's past to try to make Gio matter because the actor is a well-known musician. Whatever. Talk about being creatively bankrupt.

So much this. I also want to know why they haven't questioned Laura in-depth about Cyrus and his actions regarding the family around the time Sam died. Anna knows there is a restraining order, but does she know that Laura was furious because Cyrus was trying to have nuLulu transferred to another state without Laura knowing? He was trying to be the decision maker in Lulu's life at the same time that the woman living with Lulu's ex-husband and raising Lulu's son dies, allegedly by his hands. That's quite a coincidence, Anna. This Show.

I think that was half of his motive. The other half was Ric still trying to see if he could possibly have a chance with her, by first expressing concern and then when she said she's not testifying, proposing they go on another walk just as she got the alert signal. He def. left some things out of what he told Ava later.

I believe the PI got hit saving her dog; the preview shows Sasha holding the dog at the hospital and apologizing for what happened.

Ric is concerned that Elizabeth could be "shaken up" by the hostility between Ava and Kristina?! Elizabeth, who has been kidnapped and/or held hostage multiple times, temporarily gone blind, had her sons kidnapped and one thought dead for years. Then, when Elizabeth doesn't have time for him, he goes back to see Ava. LOL that Elizabeth denies hearing anything that Jason said to Cyrus. It's good to see Dante with Sam's family, concerned about Sam's son. Anna's words to Dante, Chase and Jason have no value after everything she's done. The rest is so utterly boring. Although the Alexis-Jason scene in the preview looks promising. And Sasha apologizing to the dog makes me giggle.

The director of Turning Woods told Cyrus that the two of them had been there and that Lucky was very upset that he had mis-represented himself re: Lulu's care and had spent time with Lulu while she was a patient. Cyrus in turn told him he overheard a Turning Woods employee talking to "Elizabeth Baldwin" and now he's being banned from Turning Woods.

I'm sure he doesn't feel threatened by Danny, but he does now know Danny heard from someone that he killed Sam. From the scene with the director at Turning Woods and then the creepy watching scene at the hospital, he clearly believes Elizabeth is 'the problem.' Everybody knows Jason and Elizabeth have a son together and are at least friendly. It's not really a stretch to think that Elizabeth could have confided her suspicions to Jason, when Jason's younger son was around. He also wants to appeal to Lucky but has seen twice now in public places that Elizabeth and Lucky are friends or more. So now he has to decide what to do about Elizabeth. That's my interpretation of his creepy staring at them through the window as they danced. It makes me wonder if Jason and Lucky will team up to rescue Elizabeth from whatever Cyrus does (my assumption, not a spoiler) to remove her from interfering in his grand plan.
