B&B: What's Up Today at Forrester Creations? - Daily Chat
KerleyQ replied to Aquarius's topic in The Bold And The Beautiful
Agreed - it's definitely not always about violence. And, in acquaintance/date rapes, the rapist would often contend that he had no intention of hurting the victim. Some will even claim that they "made love," and completely disconnect from the lack of consent on their victim's part. Poor Will. Can you imagine if he inherits the thirst, the spineless waffling, AND Katie's "Marcia, Marcia, Marcia" and busybody tendencies? He's doomed. -
Ditto to the Amy Vining 2.0 hate. Being a gossip is one thing, but actively inserting herself into the situation between a parent and their young child? Fire her ass, Monica.

Why would they kill off one of their one note villains when they can kill off a legacy character instead? (In other words, nope, she's not dead. Not even a little bit.) -
That's some BryDog level chutzpah right there.

Spoilers and Speculation: Clink Boom and Cheese Fondue
KerleyQ replied to BestestAuntEver's topic in General Hospital
And we all know that, if they kill off Lucas, it will be all about Sonny and Carly. JZ will get like one scene, maybe two, where she tries to emote through whatever she's most recently had done to her face, then it will shift into full Carly/Sonny mode. Carly will bemoan that the violence in Sonny's world touched her brother (but probably not as much as she bemoaned it touching Kiki, because, well, Kiki). Sonny will get all whisper shout-y about how it's that damn Julian Jerome's fault, as he flings bar ware all over the place and vows revenge. Two months later, three, tops, no one will remember that Lucas existed, except, maybe, Maxie. Oh, and I guess the story will have a side helping of Julexis, where Julian feels guilty over his son dying (wait, do the writers remember Lucas is his son?), Alexis decides, once again, that she can't deal with the life of a mobster. And their daughter will shriek about how she should have let Sonny kill him long ago (wait, do the writers remember that Lucas is her brother?). I assume Jason will stand at her side mugging away in anger as she rants and raves. -

I don't think they'd ever dare give the special love story of the hit man and his mob moll to Hayden and Curtis. -

When you say he's playing a role, I think the difference here is you're talking about liking MB, vs.people talking about not liking Sonny. Sonny is the character, and, no, MB isn't responsible for what is written for Sonny. But, Sonny the character is not being written out of character. This is who he's evolved to over the years, and he's responsible for the shit he's done. If you enjoy him, continue to enjoy him. Believe me, as a Liz fan, I can understand retaining your affection for a character/actor. -

Maybe she realizes she lives in a soap opera? I'm so dying for all of Katie's meddling to blow up in her face. -

Please let #4 be BryDog! You know, he's got his Emmy, so the entertainment world will be at his feet. -
S28 Spoilers & Speculation: On and On and On and On...
KerleyQ replied to CheetaraThunder's topic in The Challenge
Maybe instead of bringing in replacements for Leroy/Averey, they just bring Devin/Cheyenne right back? -
At this point, I don't know if I'd even blame Jessica if she kills Johnny in his sleep. What a complete douchetool. It makes complete sense that he and John are good friends. Bummed to see Leroy go. Being friends with John aside, I like him. He seems pretty cursed when it comes to challenges, though. Was I the only one who thought that the black skull looked noticeably smaller than the white skulls? If the first person felt around in that bag at all, they potentially could have noticed that and told their partner to pick the bigger skull on their turn (which would mean that you're screwed if you pick second.) Sarah continues to entertain me with her complete glee at every single thing they do. Her giddy "I love this kind of stuff!" when TJ explained how the elimination would work made me laugh. Since they had to include the shot of the whole cast gasping at whoever Leroy's replacement is, I'm entirely convinced that it's someone underwhelming.

As someone who has had to take steroids more than once, they definitely do that to you. I have stretch marks from them. Depending on what the dosage is, they can really bloat you up big time. BM looks exactly like someone taking steroids for more than a week or so would look. I agree with you, though, that they should extend the same leeway to the women. I can't imagine how shitty production would be to an actress who, for example, showed up from maternity leave without having lost every single ounce of baby weight. (And the shitty level would be epic if JFP was running things.) At minimum, that actress would absolutely not be given any love scenes until the weight came off.

Seriously, show? Seriously? I don't even like Maya, and I'm pissed that we didn't get to see her reaction to the Sasha secret. Come on! That's just good soap, and you left it out completely? But, don't worry, I'm sure we'll get Pam, Charlie, and Katie all reacting to that bit of news instead. -
I could not stand Sarah her first few seasons. Between being firmly planted up Kenny's backside, desperate for his attention, and then how shitty she and Laurel were to Cara Maria, for no good reason, I just could not stand her. But, at some point over her last couple seasons, she grew on me. It was probably her unrivaled enthusiasm for every weird stunt this show has them do. "I"m going to be running on top of a moving semi truck? Awesome!" She knows what she signed up for and loves every minute of it, unlike a lot of other cast members. Screwing over John certainly helped, as well.

Thomas going on and on to Caroline about how they "created" Douglas was making my skin crawl. -

Maybe it's just me, but I think that "taking advantage" is just a polite way of saying he raped her. He took advantage of her inebriated state to get something from her that was not on offer when she was sober and awake. -
I wish someone would point out to her that it there was something still going on there, maybe Nathan might have sought out Claudette back when she decided she needed to be with that passive aggressive asshole Spinelli again? Did WDV pull a Tribbiani in that interview and now he's being written out? (I'm sure some of you can understand why I couldn't bring myself to wade through a two part joint interview from the two of them.)
-
Could they kiss ass any more with that "amazing chemistry" line? Bonus points if you read it when it's alongside the picture of them both making pig faces at the camera.

KSt being pregnant IRL right now would definitely make her real life far juicier than her onscreen life. -

KerleyQ replied to Aquarius's topic in The Bold And The Beautiful
Agreed. A rape victim may have various reasons for not acknowledging what happened to her as being rape. In Caroline's case, those reasons could include things like not wanting to think of herself as a rape victim, not wanting Ridge to kill his son, her own confusion/shame over what happened, and just not wanting to think about it. -
And this is how we know Alexis and Nik are related.

I'm almost positive that we're going to get something along these lines. I'll be shocked if we don't. Bill cheer leading for Wyatt/Steffy was odd. But, I guess, it's nice to see him take up for his "other" son for once. Steffy's hair looks so much better now. Let's hope JMW sticks with it for more than a day. -
Spinelli does love that ass.

Much like BM, WDV was way better playing evil on AMC than he'll ever be on GH. -
Well, do we know how much Jane had to drink that night?
