  1. His current portrayal would be OK if they had some acknowledgement from him that, while he remembers everything, he doesn't feel a particular connection to some of his memories at this time. In current story line, that could have us seeing a scene between him and Sam where he explains that, part of the reason he encouraged Carly to go back to Sonny and mourn with him was because he still doesn't fully feel his previous role in their family, so he feels like that was the best way he could support her - by sending her to someone who he thinks feels this all as deeply as she does.
  2. I think LW was amazing, but BM just kind of sat there. He has no emotion whatsoever.
  3. How big of Rick to acknowledge that there are other options out there for them to have additional kids beyond knocking up his young sister-in-law for the second time in a year. Now go pursue those other options, Rick. You got your miracle biological baby, now stop being selfish assholes and go look into adoption, or surrogacy using someone else's uterus. Let the poor girl move on and live her life now. She's not your broodmare.
  4. Even if neither of them can be assed to care about how obnoxious it is to his existing wife to publicly carry on like this, can't either one of them have enough concern for his children's feelings to be a little more discrete? As for it being story line, if it wasn't for some of the other stuff, like him being fired and her being suspended twice for drug use, I could maybe see it. It's a shitty story line to do, considering the guy is married and all, but who knows. But, since I'm certain WWE must have some input on story line for TD (or at least the ability to shoot down some things that they feel go against the brand's best interests), I don't think this whole mess is story, just because I don't think they'd want to go that far (the drugs, firing, etc) for a story line. Also, my husband actually ran into them at the airport in San Antonio a few months ago, no cameras in sight, just the two of them, clearly a couple, traveling together. I sincerely doubt this will ever end in marriage. This is not his first extra marital relationship with a much younger co-worker, and I think she took it much more seriously than he did, and now he's just along for the ride for as long as it's fun for him. When this thing goes to hell, it's going to get ugly, because I think she's got herself convinced that they're in some true love that nobody understands, and it's them against the world. Once he shatters that illusion, she may not take it very well. And, seriously, has the guy even filed for divorce yet?
  5. Ditto. Hope was not my favorite, by any mean, but pitted against Steffy? I'd root for her any time.
  6. Apparently, Paige proposed to Del Rio in the ring at some show over the weekend. Add this to the WWE's statement that the drug she tested positive for was an illegal drug and not, as she claimed, a prescription, and she's really making some terrible life choices lately. (Side note: she looks to be high as a kite on something in the videos floating around out there from the proposal). Oh, and her father posted on Facebook that he does not want his daughter to marry that man, and her brother's response seems to agree with that sentiment. It's kind of disturbing to watch at this point. You feel like you have a front row seat for someone's downward spiral.
  7. They were way too thirsty to make her a Webber, though, so being tied to Liz through Liz's mother instead of making Hayden Jeff's daughter wouldn't have worked for them. They weren't going to waste their precious Greenlee on not being part of one of the GH legacy families.
  8. And we'd be subjected to Quinn and Ivy having to mourn her, as well, probably full of self recrimination over their "unfair" treatment of her.
  9. Have they even shared screen time in weeks? Some time around Thanksgiving, we'll see them in a scene together and it will be like all of the fallout happened off camera, and it's all fine now. And the boys just love Auntie Greenlee!
  10. I've always gotten the vibe off of Brie that she's one of those women who is into whatever her boyfriend/husband is into. So, because Brian is very serious about the environment and very frugal, that's what she is. I remember the Total Divas episode where Brian wanted her to get rid of all of her clothes that weren't modest, and she said something to the effect of "oh, well, now I'll just have to shop for a new wardrobe." I think she'd love to be given the kind of free reign Nikki has to spend. And, with Nikki's current situation, she can likely afford to spend a lot while still stuffing a decent amount into savings or a retirement account, because, as mentioned above - she really has very little in her expense ledger right now. She lives with John (both in Florida and back in California, where he bought her a house). John probably covers all of the household bills, likely pays when they go out to dinner, for vacations, etc. She may or may not have her own car payment. So, really her normal expenses likely boil down to insurance and toiletries/cosmetics. And if she's driving John's cars, he's likely covering the auto side of the insurance bill, as well, and she's only paying for health and, possibly, life insurance. Meanwhile, she's one of the top women in WWE, and she has two reality shows, so she's likely pulling in pretty nice salary that isn't being eaten up by much. Put Brie in that situation, and she'd happily be indulging at least somewhat how Nikki does.
  11. She'd come over before Danny goes to sleep, to do her whole "greatestmomwholoveswithherwholeheart" routine, helping him put Danny to bed, then she'd make her "I'm so alone" play.
  12. I'm not entirely convinced the wife and kid would be reason enough for her to not give it a try.
  13. That shit still pisses me off. I'm all for some creative license in story telling, but that shit was just straight up wrong.
  14. Gee, BryDog, this is shocking information. I feel like it should be edited though, to say "I kind of do things and don't think about them afterward...until I have to hawk my car on social media and cross my fingers it sells fast."
  15. In my ideal world, Bill gives those shares to Wyatt as a divorce present.
  16. You know, in retrospect, I'm surprised that, immediately after Lizzie was birthed, Rick and Maya didn't say "while you have her in that position, we have more of Rick's swimmers in that cooler over there, is it possible we can impregnate her right here and now? I've heard that some women have gotten pregnant fairly soon after giving birth before. Irish twins! Nicole, it would be sooooooooooo amazing if we could have siblings so close in age to each other."
  17. I bet it's Eric inviting Wyatt to come live with them in the wake of his useless granddaughter dumping the guy. Or, it could be Ivy.
  18. Seriously, if Waffles actually cared an ounce about the "love of his life (when Hope isn't around)" or his brother, as happy as he'd be to be getting his shot with her (again), he'd also express some concern and maybe suggest they hold off on getting heavily involved until she and her current husband have had time to sort out their relationship and divorce. Instead, he thinks so little of his brother that not only is he not concerned with what all this might do to him, but he's also not even contemplating that Steffy might have ever felt strongly enough about Wyatt to need some time to sort through her feelings about her failed marriage. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the site of their grand reunion also the place where Waffles once dumped her for Hope? (I know, we're not allowed to remember that Waffles always loved Hope more than Madame).
  19. This all reminds me of being a little kid and thinking it was so odd that my older cousin called her father "uncle." Once I got a little older, I knew that he was, actually, her uncle. My aunt had married her dirt bag ex's brother (who is his complete opposite and a really great guy). And in what I hope does not portend for the future Joss, my cousin, as an adult, calls her uncle "dad."
  20. My son was home while I was watching today, and we had the following conversation: Him: Isn't that Kristina? Me: Yes. Him: So, while she's consoling him, will she bring up the time he almost blew her to pieces with a car bomb? Me: Yes. It will be a great bonding moment for them.
  21. That makes more sense than yet another casting director thinking "yeah, this guy's great!"
  22. Then Tracy can tear her a new one and tell her exactly what she's done to the Q's. JE would be amazing in that scene. I have no sympathy for him either. Honestly, if it turns out to not be the hit Sonny initially put out on Julian that caused this, I hope that, when it's proven, Michael, Carly, Dante, and Kristina all basically say "sure, technically you ended up not being responsible now, but the environment you insist on living in is the cause of this stuff. It could just as easily have been your fault as anyone else's," and all cite that as the reason they can't have him in their lives any more. Back to the Franco/Jake/Liz/Sam stuff... If I squint and ignore how crappily this show handles everything Franco, I can kind of see why it would be a good idea for Franco to be the one who tells Jake some version of what's going on there. Jake adores Franco, and his relationship with Sam can be a bit tenuous, depending on what day it is. If Sam told him any version of why she dislikes Franco, Jake is likely to see it as somehow her problem. If Franco says to him "yes, there's a history here, yes, I did some things I should not have done that hurt Sam and your father, yes, she has every right to still not like being around me, regardless of the brain tumor defense," then it carries more weight, to Jake, because Franco is owning that he's earned those feelings from Sam. It's not someone else telling Jake that the guy he looks up to did bad things, it's that guy saying "yes, I did bad things." Of course, that should have been something that that the adults came to an agreement on before Franco had that conversation with him, but I don't hate that he was the one to have the conversation.
