Can we get Drew Garrett back?
-
I'm trying to decide which would make for the more ridiculous NuMichael - Roger Howarth or Michael Easton. On a more realistic note, he hasn't used Eddie Alderson over on GH yet, has he?
-
If Michael does end up dead/presumed dead or in a coma, Jason claiming to be Sasha's baby daddy would make more sense. I don't think Michael would willingly give up his child, because he's like Sonny and Carly that way, and since he knows Willow has fucked Drew, I definitely don't see him giving up on his kid to keep her from finding out about him and Sasha. But, if Michael's dead or in a coma, I can see Jason and Sasha deciding to hide the truth to protect his reputation and/or not cause Willow and the kids any further pain.
-
Same. I thought he did a much better job with his scenes the last time he filled in than Chad has done in who knows how long.
-
Yeah, as much as I dislike Michael, he's not a character you can really have off screen for long. He's basically been the lead in that age group for a long time, and he's a Q, Spencer, and Corinthos. Not to mention that his character has so much going on right now. Just recast him. Sure, he's been in the role a long time, but he's not some irreplaceable icon.
-
Michael is such an ass. He can never just go at someone one-on-one and face to face. He has to go behind their backs and enlist other people to do his dirty work. First he sends Jason after Drew, now he goes to undermine Drew's friendship with Curtis. I mean, I'm no big Drew fan, either, but in a choice between him and Michael? No contest. Michael is always the worst. The Jason/Dante scenes were good, and I was initially, as I watched, thinking that Jason was going to throw his support behind Dante getting both kids, so they can all be together, but what they're going with is probably what's truly best for the kids - they get to stay together, but they also are with their dads. Unlike Drew, Jason, at least, has been focused on what's best for his kid since the moment Sam died. Of course, Drew probably figures that sleeping with Willow was step one on the path to getting Scout a new mommy, so that was totally him being a good dad! So, now, Jason, Drew*, and Dante are all on board with "Our 2 1/2 Dads" at the Q mansion. Is Alexis going to dust off her old Dobson disguise so she can go be with the kids? Or are we still going to get a custody battle? *Or is Drew going to suddenly not be fine with Scout staying there once he realizes Jason is moving in, because he's going to insist on being a dick to Jason more than he focuses on his daughter's best interests? I have the feeling Gio is going to be another Rory for Trina. Does TJ even like Molly anymore?

Anyone think Ridge will accept that any responsibility lies with him and Steffy for ignoring a concern when signing? I so want Brooke to realize, and fully take in, that Ridge literally almost threw away his family's business because he had to become immersed in one of Taylor's twice daily office drop-ins. Oh, fuck, are we going to be stuck with an extended period of Ridge's man pain? Because that's always such a treat. 🙄 Justin rushing in to make things all better for the guy whose son killed his sister and got away with it is just... And I have nothing but disgust from what this show is going to do to the Brooke/Hope relationship. I guess because Taylor and Steffy have to have the only super special mother/daughter bond?

Lord, the writing is so damn lopsided. Hope and Carter aren't even going to get a temporary "win." Princess SuperBitch must always prevail at all times, even if Hope's mother has to deliver that win to her on a silver platter. I'm confused about the Electra/Remy stuff now. I can only assume that @Cool Breeze is right, and Electra is not aware that he's her stalker. I mean, he has to be a stalker, right? Non-stalkers don't have shrines to people like that. Can we just get to the point where Ridge waffles over to the limp beige dishrag, already? It's so obvious it's going to happen, and the build up is tedious, especially with her and her bitchass daughter feigning innocence as to their goals. And does the WRP not have her practice to tend to? She can just spend every day hanging out in the FC offices pretending she's not trying to glom onto her ex? Related: Can you even imagine being one of her patients and then finding out exactly what kind of a pathetic disaster she is? I thought for sure we were going in that direction back when KA was playing Taylor, and Finn and Steffy were having Sheila-related difficulties. At this point, though, I don't think he's ever straying from his owner. She could fuck Liam and Bill at the same time, on the coffee table right in front of him, and he'd still be devoted. Hell, he'd probably lament how Hope and the rest of the Logans made her do it. And then the next day he'd show up at the FC offices to tell her how amazing she is. -

Yesterday, Steffy was proudly declaring to Ridge and Carter how firing Hope was absolutely personal, and that she'd happily lose sales if it meant she never had to see her in the office again. Today, as soon as mommy enters the scene, she's right back to little miss innocent whose only concern is the company's well-being, and darn it, gosh, golly, she doesn't know why Carter thinks this is about a personal vendetta. Then, later, she's fawning all over mommy again, gushing about how happy she is she's there. This is someone who has been conditioned to not rely on her parent's love, support, and presence in her life, so she has to be on her very best behavior around her and has to constantly praise her and talk about how much she needs her. If Brooke does bust Carter before he can get those papers filed, I hope that it all still results in Steffy losing her position. She's been running the company on her personal feelings, and then today, Ridge was, rightly, questioning the paperwork, but then Taylor wandered in, and Steffy was urging Ridge to just hurry up and sign it, saying it's Carter, they can trust him. This, despite her being very clear lately that she questions Carter and doesn't fully trust him. She just may have handed the company over to Carter, just because she was so eager to get special time with mommy and daddy that she told Ridge to ignore his concern. And, ugh to Brooke whitewashing Steffy's multiple intrusions into Hope's relationship with Liam over the years as "Liam felt torn in two directions because he shares children with both of you." Yes, absolutely, Liam is the one who owed Hope loyalty and fidelity, but Steffy pulled so much shit, all of which makes Hope's one drunken kiss of Finn Steffy's Husband, look like child's play. -

I read an article a while ago about how that hairstyle is preferred by TV shows for a few reasons. I can't remember all of them, but I do remember that one was that it's easier for continuity, because the style is kind of loose, free-flowing, and forgiving, so it's harder to notice little differences in it. So when they tape out of order, the hairstyles don't make it noticeable. Then, on the other hand, you have Steffy's wigs, which noticeably change frequently. -
There's also her mommy, who is somehow also considered a "real Forrester" by Steffy's definition. I'd hazard a guess that Steffy considers Taylor more of a "real Forrester" than she does Zende, Ivy, or Electra. Hell, or even Kristen, Felicia, Rick, or Bridget, probably.

It's so maddening. It's bad enough listening to someone with her history acting like one kiss is the worst thing any woman has ever done. But when you add in that the people she bitches about it the most to are people she's done way, way worse to? It's ridiculous writing. Even her bitching at Brooke about it is maddening when you remember all the manipulation she's engaged in to get her mommy and daddy back together when he was married to Brooke. Yesterday, Ridge should have really reacted more when Steffy fully admitted it was personal, after all of her "it's not personal, it's business!" protestations of the past two weeks. -

Man, the Finn character was always a pretty decent guy, if a bit dim. But Steffy's Husband? Pure asshole, just like his owner. It might make for an interesting story if we find out, at some point in the not too distant future, that after Steffy was shot by his birth mother and held captive by his cousin, he's just dealing with some PTSD that has him terrified to do anything other than be over the top subservient to her every demand and opinion. As long as, at some point, he wakes up and realizes that he's not responsible for the situations Steffy puts herself into with her lack of impulse control and false sense of being some kind of badass who can take down all comers. Otherwise, Finn is dead, and Steffy's Husband is the shitty character we're left with. And it's infuriating to watch Steffy lecture Katie, of all people, about the evils of a woman trying to seduce her husband. I'm just dying for someone to finally snap at her and say "bitch, do you even know your own life?? Have you gone after so many women's men that you can't even remember when you're talking to one of those women?" Steffy getting to repeatedly be a sanctimonious asshole to women she's done so much worse to over the years is not entertaining. It's not even enjoyable to watch Carter and Hope plot behind her back, because we all know that there is no way on God's green earth that they're going to be allowed to come out on top for any length of time. (Of course, it also doesn't help that Carter and Hope had pretty much the exact same conversation for three episodes in a row.) We all know that Carter and Hope will, at best, get a temporary win, and then Princess SuperBitch will come out on top somehow. Most likely, this will end with Carter being sacrificed at that altar, in legal trouble for this scheme, which will lead to his exit from the show. (No spoiler, just based on the speculation that RSV will be headed over to The Gates when it starts.) Speaking of Carter and Hope and their repetitive scenes... This is reminding me of an aspect of her Thomas relationship. With Thomas, every scene between them involved one or both of them talking about how he was a one woman man who was only into her. With Carter, all of their conversations include them talking about how he's the only one fighting for her and her line at FC. Is this intentional by the writers that's building up to something? Or is it just lazy writing? Ordinarily, I'd feel like we're building up to some story where she realizes that she was looking to these men to solve some issue she's dealing with, but since this is the show that holds the emotionally abusive/controlling Sinn relationship up as this beacon of true love, I don't think the writers are actually aware of what they're writing. -
When Molly walked outside to get fresh air, I honestly half expected someone they were chem testing her with to randomly be walking past Alexis's house. Instead we got Ric pretending he was there solely for her when we all know he wanted to kick Alexis while she's down. And even TJ forgot Molly's birthday? Damn. That couple is so done, aren't they? I really can't wait until we get to the part where Nina and Willow both find out exactly what Drew has been doing with both of them. I'm surprised they were restrained enough to simply have Lulu's eyes pop open during Sam's funeral. It's almost too subtle for this show. She's not going to walk into the funeral and collapse right as Dante is speaking? Or, alternately, her eyes didn't pop open the instant they called Sam's time of death? They had better not fuck up Liz/Lucky. RH and JJ have more chemistry catching each other's eye across a room without speaking than any couple this show has going now.

Right after that press release comes out, Hope should call up an industry reporter and give them the real story, including a heavy dose of how Steffy rules the company based on her personal grudges. Spill it all - how she told Hope she had to work with Thomas, despite the many past issues that would more than qualify that as a hostile work environment, and then, when that didn't cause Hope to quit and actually worked well, how she pushed Thomas out of the country to sabotage their relationship and the line, how she pushed back on anything involving Brooke, despite her multiple positive accomplishments for the company, over her own leftover childhood hurt feelings, how she held the line over Hope's head to keep her in line over personal issues, etc. Dump it all out there so that all the fashion world is talking about is why FC still has Steffy in the CEO's office. Finn Steffy's Husband, is still missing the key point - how did Hope know he'd be arriving at all that day, let alone right then, and even if she could magically figure out he was on his way, why would she expect him to walk into the design office instead of his wife's owner's office? And Ridge is a dumbass for not asking that obvious question. Of course, he's not really there doing due diligence as a businessman, he's there because he thinks he might not get some for a few nights if he doesn't put up a token resistance to Hope's firing. Never fear, Ridge, your beige limp dishrag of an ex is lingering around desperate to put out as second choice. Then, later, when you're done with her again, you can tell her you were only fucking her to cure her BHS, not because you want to be with her forever. Steffy so wants it to be known that she fired Hope, but she's at least aware enough that Katie and Eric aren't the audience she can air that thought out to. And she didn't tell Katie to send that to Hope as a heads up so she wouldn't be taken by surprise when it's out there. She did it because she wanted Hope to know "it's fully over," and it was extra fun to make Hope's aunt be the one to deliver that message. -
WSB agent just feels like a miles better fit for Lucky than the PCPD ever did.

We are just full speed ahead with Will & Electra, aren't we? No need to let us get to know either one of them or see them have some interactions getting to know each other. And from what little we do know about both of them, full speed ahead feels wrong. Will was just horn dogging over every single pretty woman he encountered minutes before he met Electra. And Electra is seemingly haunted by a stalker and freaked out about anyone in L.A. finding out about it all. None of that spells two people who are going to instantly fall in love. We should be seeing him changing from the wannabe player, and her being reluctant to get close to anyone, but slowly being won over by Will. Instead, it's like they forgot the stalker story was starting so soon, and now they're taking shortcuts to get the setup in place. I'm laughing at the wording on that first one. By "Steffy's conflicted," I assume they mean "Steffy is a raging bitch vomiting up her daddy issues to manipulate her father again." And Finn Steffy's Husband is going to keep carrying Steffy's water, even though he should know that Hope had no way of knowing he was going to be at FC at all, let alone walking into that room right then. So, wait, is Ridge finally going to listen to his best friend? Carter must manage to get him out from under Steffy's thumb for a few minutes so he can listen to Carter without Steffy yammering into one ear, demanding his loyalty to her above all else. Is Ridge going to catch a clue, when Steffy undoubtedly starts clamoring to fire Carter, that this is all her personal bullshit running roughshod over the company? On one hand, it's nice that we're not going to be stuck with months of Remy sitting in a dark room staring at pictures of Electra. On the other hand, as I've already complained, this story has gone warp speed, before we have reason to care about anyone in it. Of course, if they give Bill some more airtime as part of this story, I'll probably be willing to overlook a lot.

OK, so she followed it up with running over to the Q mansion to try to fix things for Jason, but did I actually see her, before that, telling Jason he was wrong (for fighting Drew when the kids were upstairs right after their mother died)? I didn't realize Carly was allowed to disagree with St. Jasus. Felicia, I get that you just want to see everyone be a happy family and all, but maybe give Sasha and Cody a few minutes to adjust to the rather unpleasant surprise of being cousins before you start trying to push everyone into weekly family dinners, or whatever? Please, show, don't stick Isiah with Jordan. He's had more chemistry with damn near everyone else he's shared screen time with. They seemed like they might have some chemistry in their initial scenes, when we hadn't really had a chance to see him with others. But now that he's been interacting with other people, the difference is obvious. Speaking of chemistry, Mo and Eva are trying their asses off. You can literally see them trying. But it's just not there. The Sonny/Lucky discussion about Lucky's job brought to mind what I want to see happen - him and Jason working at the PC WSB office with Brennan. I don't know if I'll ever like Ric again, but RH is so good. He and SBu were both good portraying how much Jason and Ric hate each other.
-
This. When Electra was going on about how she's never met anyone like Will, it just seemed ridiculous to me, because we haven't seen a single characteristic of Will beyond petulance when daddy had a new girlfriend and horndog when he got to FC and got an eyeful of the pretty women working there.

Steffy is one of those people who simultaneously sees herself as this tough badass, but also as a perpetual victim. She's the CEO of her family's business. She's married to a man who, for some insane reason, worships the ground she walks on and is willing to follow all of her orders, his own interests be damned. She has two adorable children, a beautiful home, and financial security. She has a loving family. But none of that fills that void in her soul. She needs to be a victim, she needs to be angry about something, and she needs everyone around her to worship at her feet at all times. -

Is poor delicate Princess SuperBitch going to have to ban all FC employees from uttering Hope's name while in the office? I love how she doesn't even try to pretend that firing Hope wasn't personal, but then alongside detailing exactly how personal it was, she always throws in a "the line was failing," and Eric and Ridge just allow themselves to be placated with that bullshit. I assume that, at some point, Luna is going to be free. I really hope she blames Steffy and Finn Steffy's Husband for her getting busted and has plans to fuck with them for revenge. If the story is that Electra has a stalker, I really hate how they're having her act like it's something she needs to be ashamed of like this. I'm going to laugh for days if letting their bitchass daughter/granddaughter run things by her personal whims costs Ridge and Eric control of FC. -
A couple months ago, BLQ and Dante had some odd scenes at the Q mansion where they seemed like they had some kind of secret between them from back when they both lived in Brooklyn. I can't even remember the specifics, but I walked away from those scenes thinking Gio was their kid. But then nothing beyond that happened for a while, so I figured I either read it wrong or the show was up to something but dropped it. But, Lois's reaction shots yesterday (or Wednesday, I watched both yesterday) made me think it's still a thing. Gio originally came on to play the violin at the BLQ/Chase wedding, because he's allegedly her cousin. But then ended up sticking around, but I can't even remember what the storyline reason was for him sticking around.

They're just chem testing Molly with everyone, aren't they? For just a second or two, when Michael was talking to Jason about Willow, and saying how they keep lying to each other, I was thinking that maybe we were going to get a surprise, and he was just going to realize that maybe their marriage isn't a good one, they've both lied to each other over time, and they need to split up. Instead, I don't even know what the fuck he ended up doing. He went back home to try to manipulate Willow into telling him the truth about fucking Drew while he had zero intention of reciprocating with the truth about his night with Sasha? Meanwhile, he was aware that he'd probably wound up the hitman and sent him in Drew's direction? And I cracked up when Jason suggested that, like Michael/Sasha, maybe Drew/Willow only happened the one time, and Michael's reply was that "no, Willow isn't the type to do a one night stand." So, she's the type to repeatedly fuck her husband's uncle behind his back, but only fucking him once would be beneath her? What a weird semi-pedestal to have her on. I called it a couple months or so ago that Gio is going to end up being a BLQ/Dante baby that was given up for adoption. Lois looking all concerned when Gio walked in the room right as the issue of whether she could keep a secret came up made me think I was probably right on that one. I'm assuming that weird Jason/Kristina thing at the end was her seeing his hands all bruised up and assuming he was out carrying out a beatdown or hit for her father, or something. I'm not sure entirely what the purpose is of that, but that's what I'm guessing was going on there.
