  1. Ditto. I don't know that there was even a chance for it. I mean, they were briefly in the same room, so...?
  2. I'm hoping they replay the moment at the beginning of tomorrow's show, with Monica's face in the shot.
  3. Weren't they already gone? It's not like he chased them off. Personally, I think he used whatever power he had to get his travel/shooting arrangement. Really, the only thing I've ever heard in terms of him having issues at AMC came from James Scott, who was bitter at being killed off. I never heard a single rumor that he refused to have an adult kid.
  4. So there was Caroline and Ridge today. And then there was other crap that doesn't remotely measure up to Caroline and Ridge. I'm going to be bummed when TK disappears for a chunk of time again.
  5. Because...who is this "Jax" you speak of? When I saw that in the previews, I had this vision of Nik pushing back from the table, grabbing a party blower, throwing some confetti in the air, and dancing as "Celebration" plays. Oh, wait, that's MY reaction.
  6. Can't speak for peach, but, hell yeah, I'd find him all kind of sexy. I'd find Dr. O sexy if she killed Sonny.
  7. Yes, he had no business being on that season right after his brother's death. He was so messed up. It was hard to see. I just really hope his loved ones are rallying around him and helping him through this.
  8. I don't think that was ever his issue on AMC. I believe he and the guy who played his son had some major personality conflict, but I don't think it was an issue of him not wanting to play a guy with an adult kid. Not to mention, he took on a role of a character who already has multiple adult kids. TK's never struck me as particularly vain, especially in that area.
  9. I don't think that Sonny and Carly took Jason the same way they took Michael. by any means (and Jason certainly helped them steal Michael). But I do think that Sonny and Carly took the Q's place as his family, and when you combine it with them also stealing Michael, it has to feel, to them, like Sonny and Carly stole both of them. If Michael said that stuff to Carly and Sonny, I'd have to not criticize Ron for a month or two. Even if he "treats" us to two months of nothing but Britt/Nik/Spencer. He'd need a dog named Mr. Peabody if he started wearing glasses. I kind of loved Cameron in the kiddie scenes today. The "if your Uncle Sonny is so great, why is he in jail?" line alone was worth watching the kiddie scenes. LW was good in the Carly/Michael/Sonny scenes, much as I loathe Carly. Her reaction shot when Michael called her "Carly" was really well done. I can't even remember how long I've been waiting to hear Michael call himself Michael Quartermaine.
  10. I think it's pretty apparent that they didn't bring BM on just to have Jason go to jail to pay for the crimes he committed while he was Jason Morgan. I think the best we can hope for, on that front, is that we get a Jason Q who is destroyed by the memories of what he did as Jason Morgan and he commits himself to paying his karmic due in some way, whether he goes back to medical school and commits himself to providing free medical care for those in need, or he takes everything he knows about Sonny's organization to help law enforcement bring him down for good, or some other option all together. Unfortunately, the "it was the tumor!" defense has proven successful within the confines of soap opera law, so I don't see it being a stretch that "it was his brain damage" will be an excuse that clears Jason of any wrongdoing as Jason Morgan if he is now Jason Q who is gutted and tortured by the type of stuff he did for the past however many years. I just don't want to see this be easy for him. I don't want it to be all "well, he's Jason Q again, so, bygones!" and everyone is shiny and happy. He should be tortured. This should devastate him, and he should have to do something to try to offset all the shit he did. We know it won't be a long term jail stint, so I'm looking to see it be something else of significance. It's not ideal, but we are never going to get ideal from Ron (or most soap writers, especially those working on the remaining 4 soaps). The one thing it would be inexcusable to not do, though, is Carly and Sonny losing both Jason and Michael. Those are the two people the Q's lost to those two pieces of shit. Losing them back to the Q fold is only fair, and is way overdue at this point. And I don't think there are any two people it would hurt more for those two to lose (and yes, I'm including their other kids). It'd be a crime to not write that at this point.
  11. There was a very brief time where Liz and Jason actually tried to make a go of the "family" thing. Then MyKill got shot in the head when Liz and Jason were about to head out of town, and they realized it was never safe in Jason's world and ended things for her and Jake's safety.
  12. I agree. I was really hoping they'd find some way to write Joe out of the corner they'd written him into, because it was so nice to see someone so into her, to the point where he was wiling to sacrifice by giving her the antidote instead of taking it himself. It could have been a great story for her.
  13. That post by Wes, much like all of the stuff I'd already read from other cast members, made me tear up. I know I don't know these people at all or anything, but I'm seriously worried about CT right now. I hope he has a lot of loved ones around him, helping him to not go down the dark path he traveled after he lost his brother. As weird as this sounds, when I saw the tweet from Diem that her doctors were given up, I half expected that we might hear she and CT had a quickie hospital chapel wedding.
  14. Congratulations to Lisa, but the only way I'll accept a baby in Olivia's womb is if it is one hundred percent clearly a Ned/Olivia baby and she stays with Ned. No Sonny involvement, no surrogacy, just good old fashioned love, marriage, and baby carriage. Out of curiosity, where should a parent have sex with someone they're in love with, if not in their own bedroom, which is, often, in close proximity to their kids' rooms? If she saved it for a hotel, she'd get shit for "abandoning" her kids with Audrey to go screw. Parents have sex down the hall from their kids every day all over the world. As long as they're not waking the kids up to invite them to watch, why not? Liz really can do nothing right. I'll admit, someone inviting a guy who is basically a stranger to come live in her home with her kids isn't smart (although it's probably about the 1,000th most dangerous thing done in PC since summer). But if she develops a relationship with the guy and has a healthy love life to go with that relationship, as long as it's handled appropriately and her kids aren't exposed to something they shouldn't see, I don't see a single thing wrong with that. God knows Liz gets to have sex about once every five years. And, because I'm just pissy about all the hate Liz gets, part of me wants to see her birth a new Liason baby, just to watch heads explode. And Monica could finally get a grandchild in her life from birth.
  15. Does he think Britt will just cozy up to Anna and Anna will spill all her secrets over mani-pedis and mimosas? I do hope this agent is trying to get some inside info on O and Faison by playing Britt like this.
  16. This is the danger in some fans telling Ron they like one of his limited run characters. He can't listen to an ounce of criticism, but a few fans tell him they liked Rosalie in her limited early scenes, and she's set to become a major player with unexplained character shifts and developed on the fly backstory. I assume John Wesley Shipp will be playing her abusive father any day now. As for Liz/Jason smugness, are we talking when they're opposite Dr O? Because, and I feel like a broken record, bitch terrorized Liz in her own home and tried to kill her (along with many other PC residents over her short but useless time on this show), and got away with all of it before smugly inserting herself as chief of staff at Liz's workplace. She's more than entitled to cop any attitude she wants with her as far as I'm concerned - smug, bitchy, disdain, all off it. I don't think anyone is required to show respect to someone who tries to kill them. That would be like saying AJ wasn't allowed to show attitude to Sonny. Or Robin isn't allowed to cop an attitude with Dr O, Faison, Jerry, et al. Once someone tries to kill you, you get to treat them however the hell you want to. That should be one of the basic rules of life. And the majority of the town (and hospital employees) should either be smug or treat O like she's dirt on their shoes, because that's all she's worthy of. We can't have her in jail, because, again, Ron got positive feedback on a character that was meant to be short term, so the very least we can have is everyone treating her like the sociopath she is. And, she'll go on holding onto her job and walking around free despite her crimes against a host of people in town and across the globe, while Anna has an agent breathing down her neck because she might have killed the guy who has stalked and terrorized her and her family for fucking decades. Makes sense, Ron. Total fucking sense.
  17. I think Wyatt majorly miscalculated on his plan. I don't think he gets that Hope was way more content with him when Liam wasn't seriously involved with someone. The closer he gets to Ivy, the more Hope is going to feel like she's losing him, and he won't be on the sidelines waiting for her. She and Liam really are two sides to the same coin.
  18. And then we'll be "treated" to Sonny and Carly judging Anna for daring to arrest them when she's a big old mean killer. And I'll throw some bar ware of my own.
  19. I wonder if part of the reason KM is leaving is that she's worn out. I thought it was awkward enough when she came out with the "I've never been so happy." Then she had to almost immediately go and top herself with "I love you!" Ivy, honey...
  20. I'd say doing the exact same thing qualifies as comparable, but that's just my opinion.
  21. If he thinks his current writing is so beneath him, maybe they should pair him up with Nina. Just the thought of watching uptight TC trying to deal with MSt and all of her insanity makes me happy. On a semi-related note, The Nina stealing Sonny's property...errr...daughter/granddaughter better mean we're going to get a few Sonny/Nina scenes. I mean, come on, CrazyNina and AngrySonny? The UCG will be off the charts. Every acting tic known to man will be on full display. And the same Lucky who screwed his drug pusher in their marital bed. Most "love of their life" type soap couples have done some truly shitty things to each other. It's the nature of soaps. And Lucky has pretty much always been portrayed as the "love of Liz's life." Yes, they've both had other relationships, but, again, pretty common in soap couples. And, of course, anything that Liz did with Nik was basically a mirror image of Lucky/Sarah, so... She's definitely no Sonny. Sonny has more bed partners in 6 months than Liz has had in the past decade.
  22. I will say, as much as the Jason picture thing annoys me, I at least buy Jason as her great love more than I'll ever buy Nik. I mean, we all know it's really Lucky, but if he's not going to be around for the foreseeable future, they're not going to focus on that relationship. And BM and RH already have oodles more chemistry than BH and TC (which will never not skeeve me out).
  23. Yeah, Wyatt's got nothing on his mother. I think my favorite part of this week was Quinn's fantasy including Wyatt beaming proudly at their Quinnsane baby while Hope screamed in terror. Quinn's fantasies are the best part of this show that isn't Ridge/Caroline.
  24. I worry about CT. We all saw what a bad place he was in after he lost his brother. I hope he has the right support system in place around him to keep him from going to that place again. I'm someone who didn't always like Diem's Challenge persona, but I think we all recognize that, for the most part, what we see of them on our screens during the season isn't the whole picture of who they are as people. (i.e. Johnny, who is apparently a much different, and nicer, person off screen). I respect anyone who makes helping others their life's work, and that was what she did. It always seems so brutally unfair when someone so young passes away. I really hope she was at peace in the end.
  25. My money's on Spencer. Ron LOVES having shit like that come out of his mouth. Considering how bad Ron handled Jax's last brief return, as much as I love Jax and think it's insane he's not in town now, I'd settle for learning that Jax ripped Carly a new one via phone and had Alexis get him emergency custody of Joss. I don't want Ingo to dignify this show with a return until it gets better and he can be assured he's not just there to lose to Sonny. As for Dr. O? I'm guessing never. Ron's decided to take a character some people found entertaining in small doses and run her into the ground. It's kind of his thing. Agreed. Carly sucks, but LW is so damn good at making her so unlikable. As much as I hate the character, I never see a false moment from LW. It's the rare actor on this show who doesn't let themselves get bogged down in the suckiness that is the writing. I know some might consider it sacrilege to say this, but I think that she is better at portraying who Carly is at this stage in her life than Sarah Brown would be. I can't wait until whatever attorney he manages to convince to take his case goes to a judge and argues that his civil rights are being violated by not allowing him to have access to unlimited barware to throw as his form of therapy. I was thinking about the conversation about them not having enough budget to have more jail cells (for all the people who need to be arrested these days). Jail cells aren't supposed to be unique. Since each cell should be basically identical, there's no reason they can't use the same two cells they have set up as different cells. They can claim they're on different floors or something. Unrelated note, Liz looked fantastic today - wardrobe, hair, makeup, it was all well done. It's unusual for this show to get it right across the board on any of the cast.
