  1. Is it possible for Tania to have a soulmate when she doesn't have a soul?
  2. I thought Joel showed a lot of growth in this episode. First he sought out Mai to apologize after being such an ass to her for helping him with the liquor license and other things. Then, when the juke box stopped working and Midge took the stage to save the day, instead of getting mad at her for "stealing the spotlight" and not allowing him to succeed on his own, he appreciated the help. He seems to have gotten over his need to do everything on his own and resenting needing a woman's help.
  3. I thought the heartbroken look on Reggie's face looked like that of a lover who was cheated on (again) not just friend and manager disappointed that his friend/client picked up a guy and got beaten up (again). Before that moment, I never suspected Reggie was gay, but I was pretty sure when I saw that. Looking back: 1) Why else would Shy hide what happened from Reggie? One of Reggie's many jobs was cleaning up Shy's messes and he obviously knew Shy was gay. 2) I thought the way they shared the microphone in the smaller room in Vegas was a little suggestive. I dismissed it as the time, as straight male singers sometimes do that. But, after the stool set it seemed like a clue.
  4. I figured it would get her fired. But, I don't think she outed him. I think the audience would have taken more like she was poking fun at him for being so handsome, stylish, pampered and spoiled, that he could almost be gay. I wonder if Shy really fired her or if Reggie did. I think Reggie did it on his own. Reggie is more obsessed with protecting Shy's secret (and his own) than Shy is.
  5. I agree on Jazmin. I haven't care much for her. But, she was fine in this episode. Do Blake's friends want her to pretend to like Blake's music as much as they pretend to like it? I was thinking the same thing about Grangela and the appeal. Maybe 60% do prevail) though I kind of doubt it). But, in most cases, you don't have a bride who is 20 years and 200 lbs heavier than the groom, and the groom from a country known for scammers. Not all appeal cases are created equal. I would think that Angela going to Nigeria and marrying him would show a lot more good faith\ and improve their chances of Mycull getting a visa. I have to admit, Mycull does a great job keeping and straight face and pretending to love Grangela. If Grangela wasn't so utterly hideous inside and out, I'd probably believe him. He could have a future in acting.
  6. Or maybe Anna wanted a good father...for her bees. 🐝
  7. I don't think it was a threat. She was sharing her feelings about what she felt like doing, not what she intended to do.
  8. I agree on that. She is shy around crowds and people she doesn't know. But, it seemed like she was making an effort to meet Blake halfway by going to the show and inviting her sister. That is why Blake's friends trashing her really bothered me. It seems like they want Jasimin to be a super fan for Blake, not a wife. I'm not sure how good a match she is to be his wife, either. But, she doesn't have to be his biggest fan to be his wife.
  9. I disagree on this. I haven't been a big Jasmin fan, but I had no problem with her last night. She went to his bizarre, (lose the mask, Blake!) crappy performance to support him. If she was performing some sort of weird, Finnish music, I imagine Blake wouldn't know how to react either. I also liked that she said Blake had a nice face and should show it, rather than cover it with that ridiculous mask. What really bothered me was Blake's friends talking her down constantly, for not jumping onto the stage to participate in the terrible "music". Maybe they should consider the possibility that Blake and his group kind of suck.
  10. I can't deal with another EOE for any reason. Because of all the big names, I could maybe deal with a Redemption Island type situation, where players voted off got a 2nd chance, but had to earn their continued presence in the game over and over, in duels. But, EOE is a deal breaker for me. It is not Survivor. I doubt I will watch, but I at least hope they won't had freaking idols to the players who were voted out and then made it back into the game. If they must have EOE, an EOE returnee should be at a disadvantage, not be handed a huge advantage.
  11. That sums it up pretty well. If someone indicates they don't want to be touched, don't touch them. The reasons don't really matter. As for the motives of the touchers, I think sometimes it is sexual, sometimes it is power, and sometimes they are just people who like to be touched, and can't grasp that other people don't. But, whatever the motive, it is still pretty simple, don't touch people who have made it clear they don't want to be touched, period. In fact, don't touch anyone unless it has been made rather clear that the touching is welcome.
  12. LOL. I honestly think, in a season where most of the castaways weren't sociopaths or douchebags, Noura could provide great comic relief. She could have played Angelina's role in DvG.
  13. I would love to see Janet and Elaine back. I'd be OK with Kellee. Noura might be fun as a goof. I wouldn't mind Molly getting a 2nd chance, though I don't really care. Other than that, they can all stay off my TV screen forever.
  14. My point is that a properly worded pre-nush can benefit both parties. With out one, Juliana could have an uphill battle in court. A pre-nush might give her a hassle free $500K or $1 million or whatever, or X dollars a month in alimony for 5 or 10 years, as opposed to fighting in court for years, spending tons of legal fees (if she can afford a lawyer). For Michael, it could ensure that she doesn't take him for half or huge alimony payments, after she dumps him for another man, after 6 months or a year or whenever she gets her greencard.
  15. I agree. If Juliana had a lawyer looking out for her interests, in the pre-nush negotiations, she would probably feel more comfortable and they could work out something reasonable. I think the pre-nush could protect Juliana as much as Michael. She could get some assurances that she won't be left penniless if Michael decides to dump her, and Michael could limit his exposure in a divorce.
  16. Scrutinizing who gives how much to whom has gotten ridiculous. Earlier this year, there was a story about a 12 year old boy who started a lawn mowing business to pay for college. The Carolina Panthers saw this, and admiring his work ethic, arranged to have their head coach present him with a new lawnmower, from Lowe's, some team gear and make him an honorary member of the grounds crew. Soon after, the Panthers and Lowes started getting blasted for "only" giving him that stuff, with people saying they should have paid for his whole college education. This sort of nonsense only discourages generosity. If an individual or company is not willing to commit $200,000 to a person or cause, should they not give $1,000 when it would be very, much appreciated by the recipient? I liked Jack until I found out he is dating Elizabeth. If I was tasked with handing out the Sia money, I'd probably give most of it to Janet for her self sacrificing courage, maybe a little to Elaine and perhaps some to Kellee for what she went through.
  17. I am not a Sia fan (though I have nothing against her or her music), but I kind of like the idea of a random, celebrity superfan handing out cash at the finale. I think it adds a bit of much needed cultural relevance to the aging show. That said, I also like product placement on Survivor (and even more so on TAR) because it means more money is coming in to keep the show on the air.
  18. I hate Tania, but I don't hate Mother Tania. She wasn't a jerk about Syngin drinking her whisky. She just told him not to drink it, unless he was going to go to the store to replace it. I can only imagine how Tania would react if Syngin was off somewhere partying every night and couldn't even promise to call when he gets home, to let her know he is OK.
  19. I'd imagine the $30,000 is only his credit card debt. He might owe more on a mortgage on the tree farm
  20. I don't think you even need to be her friend. She hands out cash to perfect strangers. 😃
