I'm surprised to see that Colton is a favorite in this thread. He came off as disingenuous to me. Also he looks like Becca's ex who made an appearance last season and who's name I've forgotten. I liked Garrett too. I get his sense of humor and he looks easy, yet fun to get along with.

Omg, I cheered and laughed and wept! This episode got me in all the right places ?

So is Adam/Ada the reason there are 8 guys and 6 girls in the finals, as in he performs as a female and they were going for an equal number of each male and female performers? I thought there were more girls who deserved to go through than guys. I also didn't like the way the 24 were divided considering they had 2 separate eliminations over the past 2 weeks. The 2nd group were better overall than the 1st and if they were going to divide them randomly, they should have only had one elimination after all 24 performed.

Interesting that both Bebe and Colbie tried out for AI. I think Rachel was the best mentor tonight, she really let Mara shine. Having been spoiled and thrown my tantrum a few weeks ago, I have no comments on the results, so I'll leave that to you guys. I'm ready to go live next week. Let's go Maddie!

I have to say that now that I know everyone, I really like most of this group. Usually by merge, I hardly like anyone left in the last few seasons. I like the new JT's idol and enjoyed rewatching Michaela's hair flip. Is that the ugliest immunity necklace ever? Good episode, full blown game playing and tribal was hilarious. "Chris Noble, it was a pleasure serving you coffee for 22 days" and "Stop rapping, put the mike down ". Well he already dropped the mike and left an idol behind, ? "Oh torch" ?

Luke looked so bored today or acted like he didn't give a fuck, his critiques were so half assed. Wonder if something happened behind the scenes that's made him check out. Having been spoiled on the top 14, I know this cut over these 2 weeks is not going to be popular. I was hoping watching the performances would enlighten me on the validity of the judges selection, but it didn't. Should have been a live voting round. I like the new format of this round though. Michael owned his duet. His exuberance just makes me smile. Love him. Hope the industry doesn't kill that genuine innocence he exudes. Go Michael! Gabby impressed me too, even though I didn't care for her in earlier rounds, she brought it today.

I too am in the minority, I'm not feeling Cade. I watched it again online today to see if I could hear what most of you did and I still didn't. He's nowhere near Caleb, Bo or Chris, who I dug immediately. Looks like Michael has a thing for overalls. Am I the only one surprised Ryan can carry a tune?

Well, as far as showmances go, they do look good together. Can't tell if there's a ? involved already considering he's 18 and she's 24. If they are an item, Bradley and Kellyn are also perfect for each other.

I only like Maddie, Caleb and Michael from the top 14. If any of the others win, they'll just have 15 minutes of fame, nothing more imo. I miss the days when this show was about finding real talent, talent that would make it big. I think I'll post watch the performances of these 3 on YouTube so I don't have to endure the life stories and mediocrity of the others.

There weren't many in room 1 that I thought deserved to go through. Room 3 had most of the cream of the crop. Shouldn't be difficult to cut this bunch down to 24.

I'm confused. How do we go from that audition to Penny having to teach Sheldon improv. He always had it in him even if he didn't make it to the stage. So no GI this week. Not a disappointment to me seeing as so far GI has been a waste and just an outlet for sob stories. I always get a good laugh out of the blindfold challenges, I'm so bad. Dominic reminded me of another reason I could never be on this show, I'm such a bad liar. We haven't seen anything negative about Libby, but he made her out to be the devil. Just one comment can ruin your game when you did absolutely nothing wrong to be targeted. That's why I'm better off appreciating the duplicity portrayed by those that possess the talent from the safety of my couch. Didn't James have a HII? I've already lost track. Well, there goes one pretty. I don't know why that was a blindside. How did he not see it was either him or Michael in the minority?

Not bad for Hollywood week! The acoustics are definitely awesome at the Dolby. Wish the live rounds were held there too. Also the focus on music instead of sob stories made it more enjoyable. That being said, I'll admit I wept at "Wind beneath my wings". Go Alyssa! Surprised Zach was eliminated. On Group round, I was "Love yourself"'d out.

Do these guys get paid a wage, I mean besides the winnings? What is the lowest winnings to the 1st bootee? This is a job after all and I think it should be a casting requirement that they be entertaining. Sob stories aren't fun to watch and don't even pull at heartstrings when the stories aren't even anything special. This season needs a Shane, Coach, Cirie or Sandra type crackerjack personality to pull it out of the doldrums. Come on guys, do something interesting and it doesn't even have to be strategic, it could even be hilarious ghost stories at camp to commemorate GI.

The ? challenge was cool. I really like Michael, which means he's probably doomed.
