Episode 10, couldn't even come up with a title to describe that without giving anything away. That's how long it had to take to make this season interesting. Go Lauren for taking charge and making a smart move. She has been one of my favorites since the beginning, but with the loss of most of my others, she's taken the lead on who I'm rooting for. Hope I didn't just jinx her. If she and Ashley can stick together, they can make it to the end. Devon was one of my favorites but he's getting annoying with letting a one TC success go to his head and thinking he's running the show. And as depleted as their numbers are, the women have killed every IC since merge. Wtg ladies! Loved the looks on Ryan and Chrissy's faces at 1st TC. But really boring JP? And just after he opened his mouth. I'm not sure who I'd have gotten out 1st between Ryan with his HII or Chrissy because she's dangerous. And Chrissy can shut her trap with preaching on how the other side should behave when she was doing the same smug thing all this time, like she was untouchable and those out of her alliance weren't worth her time. Her wonderful analytical skills failed her or maybe her supreme smugness bit her in the butt and I for one was delighted to see her not in control. She definitely needed that win. I agreed with getting Joe out although I'd have been happy with Ben too, he is dangerous. And they flushed out another idol.
-
I enjoyed the natural life and watching the gorgeous Queen Desi of the Jury make her grand regal entrance. Again the HeHu alliance was able to vote out their target and simultaneously flush out the idol.
-
There goes another one of my faves. Love her. Surely someone's going to do the math and wonder why that vote was tied. And wtf happened to the Healers that they couldn't keep it together for the vote?!!
-
Since there's a lot of Chrissy talk on this episode than on her thread, I'll add my 2c here. My smug opinion of her stemmed from the way she dealt with Roark, I think it was 2 episodes ago. I respect her for being a very smart woman and player and have even said that if the others didn't wise up and eliminate her before FTC, she'll win because she's a very good talker. She was very clever in taking the target of her back when she was responsible for losing the immunity challenge after the tribe swap, but she came off as very condescending towards Roark. We all know she's smart, but there's no reason to make someone else feel lesser than you just because they aren't buying what you're selling. She read Roark well in that she wasn't going to align with her when she proposed it and when I encounter someone IRL who talks to me like Chrissy did, I read them just like it looked like Roark did when she wanted to have nothing to do with aligning with her. The only other times her smugness shows in the game is her reactions at TC. Of course, her THs are full of it. Answering Jeffs math question didn't contribute to my opinion of her although like others have mentioned, it could have contributed to her being targeted on this vote. Her "Hero" assignation didn't bother me because I attribute that to production, but her reasoning did. IMO every mother working or not, is a hero, so her reasoning makes her no more heroic than any of the millions of moms in the world. Bottom line, I guess it comes down to me appreciating people who aren't arrogant and like to toot their own horn that she's the smartest one out there. I respect leaders who show humility and there's no denying she's a leader and has been instrumental and successful in leading her alliance on the last 3 votes. She's playing a great game but I don't like her. JMO :-)

So close, now I have to endure her smug highness for at least one more week! And I'm sure she'll have her analytical claws out. Good job Outback.

There goes another one I liked. JP must be the ice cube of his fire unit, his quiet calm which would be an asset on the job definitely reads as poor social skills in this game especially next to a mouth runner like Ryan. Chrissy is a very good talker, she'd run over her FTC opponents if they let her get there.
-
Damn, I liked Ro! Her name sounds like a combo of Rose and Mark, wonder if that may be her parents names. Wish she spoke about Chrissy's proposed girl alliance at TC, could have saved her. Otoh, Ms. Financial Advisor Hero is evil and I want her gone along with her smugness. I don't care if she's a good player. I liked both challenges. And Desi was challenge beast today, she made it look so easy.
-
I like that we started straight out with the swap, no wasted time with dynamics that would soon be irrelevant. The challenge was also a good get to know your new tribe. It never ceases to amaze me how a swap surprises them season after season. I'm pleased that the Joe Alan tribe lost, didn't care which order those 2 leave. Wtg Devon for reading Joe correctly, hope Joe's actions showed Desi his mo going forward. Wow, that secret disadvantage was scary. I like Devon, hope he survives that tribe. Did anyone else have multiple interruptions in service today?

So what happened this year that we don't have the spoiled elimination list? Its usually out and quite accurate before season starts and we're already through 3 evictions and nothing.
-
From Patrick's bio: Wow! How deluded was Patrick!
-
Well first of all Patrick, a blindside means the target doesn't know they're it. So yes, this was a blindside, it wouldn't have been if Lauren was sent home and she was totally expecting it. Boy, he scared me with his looks could kill reaction. Is this season focusing more on tribe dynamics than previous seasons? I'm definitely liking this than time wasted on a 2nd challenge.

I saw a small clip on some entertainment news show like ET where one of the early group dates is girls in old timey race cars on a dirt track but they were all running into each other like bumper cars. The few girls I saw in that flash clip looked pretty good. Came here hoping someone posted the clip or had more news like names and pics.

When and why did bullying become a strategy in TV reality game shows? I went through a whole season of that crap on BB, and even though it worked for the finalists on that show and even if it was just supposed to be an act or strategy, that was one of the most disgusting displays of humanity and I have zero tolerance for it. Hope we don't have to see any more of it on this show.

Seems like most viewers were more happy that Paul lost and by a nose, rather than Josh winning. I don't buy Josh claiming he was letting Paul think he was running the show and that he Josh was the real manipulator. I don't believe his schizo-hopeless/bully persona was an act much less strategy. It could have easily got him evicted if he was aligned differently. I'm glad Kevin didn't win AFP since I blame him for bringing Paul into the house, even though I know he only did it for himself and had no idea about the consequence. I don't like Cody but I'm glad he won because he's the only one who wasn't playing Paul's game and didn't reward him in the end. I'm really hoping Survivor makes up for the rotten seasons of BB and BiP. Btw, what did Paul mean when he said privately that he needed the $ to support his family? Isn't he rich?
-
Oh why do I care! I don't like either of them and it PAINS me to say that Paul deserves it more. Theme of this season: The Paul story. TG it's over.
-
Unbelievable! Who was going to vote for her when she half competed?
-
Could it be possible that Paul won't win or will Josh make the final dumb move like all his predecessors and take him instead of Christmas? The jury with Will was entertaining.
-
Didn't know where to post this. Couldn't find a celebrity BB forum. I haven't heard of any of the released "celebrities" besides Lance Bass. Do you guys think they'd be interesting and worth the time?
-
I haven't watched BB for several seasons. Do the finalists have to give a pitch to the jury? Because Paul's claim is that he didn't vote for most of them, he got Christmas and Josh to do his dirty work and in all his farewell speeches he acts like he wasn't in on their eviction.
-
"I've been on the block so much I feel like one of the New Kids." Kevin was on fire today ?
-
Yup, Raven is definitely dying, that brain is already dead. I'm glad I tuned in. The reactions of the jury house to her epic dumbness was worth it as was Elena's amazement at how stupid those that outlived her were in being played by Paul.
-
So when was this finale filmed? It was clearly not live. Also as much of a control freak as Taylor is, she couldn't make me believe she didn't know he was going to propose to her.
-
Have they heard the phrase "dead horse" and why do they keep beating us with it! Also why do they think we're so stupid! And how much do they pay their live audience to just go with the BS?
-
Fucking LIAR! She hasn't seen him, right!!!
