I think one way to elevate the boredom of the 2nd half could be to have multiple DEs at random. That should start when the nomination table is downsized. If they want to keep the season the same length for schedule, they can start with more players. I'm sure the feeds are extremely boring when it's down to 8 if they can't even find enough entertaining content for the 3 televised shows per week.
