  1. I've been able to watch only bits and pieces of the show lately and I've been complaining about the lack of authors for a long time, so I have to ask: Does Mika co-sign Rothman's premise? Asking because of this review which isn't KYV-friendly:
  2. ^^^ And then, in her TH on national TV, in front of the loan officer and whoever he answers to, she says "I don't know how to do this/I don't know what I'm doing."
  3. IA, except her dad made the inquiry after the catfish was discharged from the hospital; the need arose after the hospital stay. Looking for a discharged patient was an underhanded move because there was no professional reason to be typing that name, selecting that date range, etc. IIRC Kristie sorta stumbled when she said her dad verified the info "because clergy," as if realizing too late it was better left unsaid.
  4. Did Kristie casually refer to a HIPAA violation on TV? She said her parents hired a private investigator and also said her father "who is clergy" verified that the catfish wasn't in a certain hospital, as claimed. So in context, what she said was that her father used his position to inspect the patient roster for reasons unrelated to the intended purpose of that privilege: allowing clergy to locate a patient who is a member of their congregation or a patient unknown to them who requests a clergy visit. Or am I stretching the definition of HIPAA too far?
  5. I helped a friend with this a few years ago. You need a minimum of 10 years; 4 credits available per year, 40 credits required. The show's been on for 10 years so if they've done what they should Christine would be OK.
  6. OK, you just gotta 'splain that one, please!
  7. Or a sleeve or a belt! There are different stresses in different places at different times but it's constant. IA, she always looks very uncomfortable, and conscious of her clothing when she moves. Is that what someone means when they say "she's not wearing her clothes, her clothes are wearing her?"
  8. Are they long enough tho? Because she has rilly long legs.
  9. So. I've watched since season one but faded a little here and there and didn't watch that season, I only read about it and I don't remember that. I've been thinking she confessed to Mariah just before she confessed to the others and that's when they got into it. I didn't realize that Mariah knew while it was ongoing. I'm going to find out which season that was and binge it. I'm glad you worded your post the way you did, thank you!
  10. Oh, thank you for the heads up, but now it's skeevy. I thought there were a couple of, uh, chaperones. Ewww. If it's just the two of them they don't need to be "properly attired."
  11. Everyone who works on camera for MSNBC undoubtedly has a situation in their private lives, whether for long or short periods of time, that would be greatly eased if they could work on camera from home. Ratings, schmatings. Shouldn't the #2 and #3 show hosts (at least) get the same dreamy deal? Is this the future of MSNBC? All hosts at home, all guests in studio? If not, why not? Why just these clowns?
  12. Stone's arrest on charges that he sought stolen emails "at the direction of a senior Trump Campaign official" is a huge development. By the time the hosts (maybe) come back to work on Monday, the arrest and the hearing in federal court later this morning will have been covered in depth by American Journalism. There won't be much left to say. Karma.
  13. Joyce Vance re Cohen's Senate Intel subpoena: He will comply, he may take the 5th, he shouldn't testify about matters inside the ongoing investigation, therefore requiring coordination between the Intel Committee and the Special Counselor. We won't hear his closed door testimony. After defending/hey, I'm not defending him earlier Donnie said Cohen will testify. Elise said he has to get rid of Lanny Davis because Davis was Clinton-adjacent.
  14. Joyce Vance: The Special Counsel has previously walked right up to the edge of saying American citizen involvement; this is American citizen involvement. This is a speaking indictment, it tells a story and - - - > Stone was not given the opportunity to turn himself in.
  15. Both articles say this and it makes no sense. “They’re broadcasting from a home studio in Jupiter [in Florida]. And there’s no formal set in their home studio, just a couple of (Washington) backdrops. Thus, a wide shot is out of the question.” Why? The articles also say there are two cameras (and I will then posit, two camera operators). Have them sit together in front of one backdrop, it's not like we haven't seen them rub shoulders before. They'd get the same result with one less camera operator. They're being untruthful about these new optics; there's more to the story. Some of it is about only needing to look "dressed" from the waist up and getting random off-camera time in the comfort of their home during every show. And some of it is about their arrogant, quirky and delusional ego trips, so they cooked up this "We can't get a wide shot" BS. (The upside is that lying indicates some self-awareness. Not a lot, but some). He's off again today (that's 6 days, right?), and she's off "with a family matter." Can't wait to see what he looks like on Monday.
  16. The person who writes the linked blog is presenting the tweets as if they happened this week, but they are word-for-word the tweets from a few months ago. All of the details posted in the blog, including "she shut down her account," are from the original story.
  17. The lack of self-awareness never fails to amaze, and amuse. She reeks of desperation.
  18. Check out the true believer reviews from 2016 for Almost Meri'ed on "Sam's" blog. Janelle kicked a pregnant Meri in the stomach. (Does that qualify as libel? Not that they would ever pursue it, obviously).
  19. Meri is thisclose to telling them "Fine, I don't need you anymore." Then say it, you cow. I double dog fucking dare you to say it.
  20. Much less making decisions about a growing girl's chronic and progressive (and eventually crippling) physical condition. I think we would see a much different scenario unfolding if Kody had scoliosis.
  21. Christine said falling in love is an amazing thing and realizing that someone would or could manipulate a person who is filling that emotion horrifies her. Indeed, the irony is rich.
