  1. Yes. The LOA priestess says, "There is no vow more sacred, nor covenant more holy than the one between man and woman. With this ceremony, your souls are bound together, forever joined. You will never be free. You will always be held captive by your love for each other." Then Nyssa tries to stab Oliver, but he stops her and says "Continue." Cut to Diggle and Felicity. Cut back to LOA priestess saying, "We offer blessings. The union is sealed."
  2. Oliver Queen's other names [uPDATED]... S1: Ollie, the Vigilante, the Hood S2: the Arrow S3: the Arrow, "Tommy", Al Sah-Him ('arrow' in Arabic), Heir to the Demon, Warith al Ghul ('heir to the demon' in Arabic), Ibn al Ghul ('son of the demon' in Arabic) No Russian or Chinese names that I've found.
  3. From 3x22... Felicity (about Malcolm): “He’s a mass murderer who’s lied to us so many times, it should be a drinking game.” Ra's al Ghul: "You are Warith al Ghul, Heir to the Demon. Before the night is over, you will be Ibn al Ghul. Son of the Demon." LOA Priestess: "There is no vow more sacred, nor covenant more holy than the one between man and woman. With this ceremony, your souls are bound together, forever joined. You will never be free. You will always be held captive by your love for each other... We offer blessings. The union is sealed."
  4. Although it's implied that Ray signed over ownership of Palmer Technologies to Felicity, I think there's room for the possibility that he gave the company to Oliver and just needed two officers' signatures to make the document legal (you know, maybe the company bylaws require two officers to sign off on any transaction that major, and he already got shareholders' approval). As for Felicity signing the document without reading it, she has been working with Ray for several months now and they've developed a trust relationship. She's probably signed a lot of documents for him by now, probably read them in the beginning and then had to sign a lot of routine documents for him to keep the company running. She probably thought it was just another routine document. He did say to her, "Just a little corporate stuff, Miss Vice President." As for Ray's motive - Ray only took over Queen Consolidated because he wanted something that QC had in order to make his Atom suit work (which is also why he wanted Felicity in the beginning). Now he has a working Atom suit and doesn't need the company. "Palmer Technologies" is just what he renamed QC. As a billionaire, he probably has a lot of companies all over the world and maybe even a main headquarters somewhere called Palmer Inc. (probably the new lair for the Spinoff). He did seem to leave Starling City a lot. As for Felicity's qualifications to run the company - From the name "Palmer Technologies", Ray has apparently converted QC into a technology company. Felicity is certainly more qualified to run a technology company than Oliver was to run QC (or Pepper Potts was to run Stark Industries). This would be more akin to Lucius Fox taking charge of running Wayne Enterprises. Additional Notes: --Ra's may have ordered his assassins to capture (and not kill) Team Arrow so that he could interrogate them as to who leaked his plan. That would explain the assassins' half-assed fighting. --The whole scene between Tatsu and Maseo (the fight, then his death) was one of the best on the show. --Just wanted to add that, with the Roy/Thea scene, we again have a guy abandoning the girl in bed after sex and again have the guy making the decision about their relationship, leaving the girl without a say in it. ETA: Posts below prove that Ray did indeed transfer ownership of the company to Felicity. My other comments still stand.
  5. I am less concerned about the technicalities of annulling the (unconsummated) marriage than I am about why the EPs would even consider letting the marriage continue (since MG has said that they aren't sure yet whether to let the marriage carry into S4)... When I was watching the wedding ceremony, I was thinking 'wow, those words are pretty serious-sounding.' Then I had the extremely cringe-worthy thought that maybe the EPs were going to use some magical crap and have those words (magically) emotionally bond Nyssa & Oliver together going forward into next season. However, given the backlash over the forced wedding, I don't see how they could possibly go this route. "There is no vow more sacred, nor covenant more holy than the one between man and woman. With this ceremony, your souls are bound together, forever joined. You will never be free. You will always be held captive by your love for each other."
  6. Here's a completely insane idea - Felicity or Diggle is exposed to the deadly virus and, dying, crawls into the Lazarus Pit (virus mixes with LP water)... and emerges as a new DC superhero! Or wait - Ray is the one who does this... and emerges with the ability to shrink! Yeah, I know MG has already said that Felicity and Diggle won't be turning into costumed superheroes, but my brain is fried at this point, trying to figure out where this season is going to end up.
  7. They would be getting on the jet to escape the virus which was unleashed on Nanda Parbat (the contaminated area). But I really don't think this is what will happen. It would make Oliver both callous and cowardly.
  8. Ugh... so maybe tonite's ep. ends with Felicity, Diggle, Laurel, Tatsu, Maseo, Ray and nameless assassins collapsed all over Nanda Parbat, while Ra's, Oliver and Nyssa escape in the jet. Oliver leaving his friends behind like that would be difficult to forgive (irredeemable).
  9. Damn... so Oliver does actually marry Nyssa. And his brainwashing is still ambiguous by the end of tonite's episode. Double damn. I wonder if the insane cliffhanger that this episode ends on is Team Arrow being exposed to the virus?
  10. The TVLine comments are actually pretty interesting to read - so thx for pointing them out, AyChihuahua...
  11. I just wanted to comment on the complaint that 'Olicity' has ruined season 3 of Arrow... I think that, if Felicity didn't exist on the show, the same story would've played out this season with whomever Oliver's main love interest ended up being. The EPs have said that this season is about Oliver's identity: whether he can be both Oliver Queen and the Arrow. They have also clearly equated being Oliver Queen with his ability to have a personal romantic relationship with someone. (Even when Oliver decided he had to step back from being Oliver Queen and only be the Arrow, he didn't hesitate to be a brother to Thea or a friend to Diggle or a mentor to Roy, so it's only the romantic relationship that's the problem for him as the Arrow, per the EPs.) Therefore, this season would always have been about Oliver's pain & angst of not being able to be with the woman he loves because of his Arrow identity (whether that woman was Felicity, Laurel, or someone else). That woman would've had the love triangle with Ray Palmer (or someone else), the good-bye scenes, the crying scenes, the sex scene, etc. Therefore, it seems like the complaint is not really about Olicity, but about Oliver having romantic relationship issues at all (unless, of course, the complaint is really about Felicity).
  12. My dialogue guesses... QUOTE: “If there is even the possibility of this kind of danger to my city, I’m reporting for duty.” RAY QUOTE: “I don’t think this is something you can run away from.” MALCOLM QUOTE: “You will always be held captive by your love for each other.” RA'S (TO OLIVER) or TATSU (TO FELICITY) QUOTE: “The only thing I know right now is I need to be with
  13. Is Oliver's Haircut On 'Arrow' Cause For Concern? With Short Hair Comes An Even Shorter Temper KELLY SCHREMPH 2 HOURS AGO http://www.bustle.com/articles/81448-is-olivers-haircut-on-arrow-cause-for-concern-with-short-hair-comes-an-even-shorter-temper

  15. Sorry, but that was the first Flash episode that I didn't like. I guess the telepathic gorilla was just one fantastical step too far for me... (eye roll) It's clear, though, which show in the Flarrow universe is getting the bulk of the special effects budget.
  16. The official CW Arrow twitter and facebook pages are posting: That sounds like the O/N wedding is actually completed, unless the CW is playing fast and loose with its promo language.
  17. That Superhero Fight Club poster is now being used as the top banner on the official CW Arrow twitter and facebook pages: https://twitter.com/CW_Arrow https://www.facebook.com/CWArrow
  18. I was satisfied with the ending of BSG because I was afraid they were going to kill off Helo. Instead, he got a happy ending with his little human/cylon family.
  19. FYI, other show illustrations from that New York magazine cover... [#55 Sleepy Hollow Crane kills Katrina] [#86 Daredevil One-take fight scene] [#93 Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. May killed Katia] [#108 The Flash Cisco's time-travel murder] [#139 Agent Carter Jarvis gives Peggy Steve's blood]
  20. Jenny Raftery, Vulture, tweeted that the new New York magazine cover has the year's best TV moments, including Ra's slaying Oliver... 21. Robert Dougherty's Tuesday editorial on Arrow (warning! article mentions a few spoilers, but part I've quoted below is just speculation)... Best Case 'Arrow' Solution Still Lesser Of Two Regrettable Evils By Robert Dougherty May 05, 2015 04:00 PM http://www.themovienetwork.com/article/best-case-arrow-solution-still-lesser-two-regrettable-evils
  22. But why don't they all have guns? It would be more believable than Laurel taking out multiple LOA assassins. And what about Ray (without his Atom suit) and Felicity (with only a backpack)?
  23. The reveal that Maseo is the one who gave the A/O virus to Ra's just leaves me even more befuddled and bewildered. About the producer's preview showing the TA v. LOA fight on the beach - Remember that scene in Raiders of the Lost Ark when Indy faces a bad guy wielding a sword and, just when you're expecting a big fight sequence, Indy just pulls out his gun and shoots him? Well, I think of that scene whenever I watch movies or tv shows with extended fight sequences featuring swords or martial arts. The LOA use swords and bows & arrows. So why didn't TA go there all equipped with guns or automatic rifles?
  24. Has MG forgotten that Alan Sepinwall is one of those who questioned "Why so many buckles?" when the new BC costume pics came out? (Link for MG response to AS tweet - https://twitter.com/sepinwall/status/593401866588803073 )
