So the crossovers are centered around the centuries-old love story between Hawkgirl and Hawkman, them being pursued and killed over and over again by Vandal Savage, and their love triangle with Cisco. Wait - I thought these shows were supposed to be superhero action shows and not romantic melodramas? (sarcasm)

Defiance was cancelled, so Anna Hopkins is free to return to Arrow in the future. :( I really don't see Oliver ever loving or being in love with Samantha. It's not like he took her picture with him on the boat trip - or even gave her a thought in the past seven or eight years. In that one scene between SA and AH last season, I didn't see any chemistry between them.

Maybe Moira had her sign a contract that she has to keep the child's paternity a secret or otherwise have to return the money.

It looked like they were making fun of the O/F yin-yang kiss. But whatev... (shrug)

From the TVLine article (in the Spoilers thread): IIRC, Baby Mama was never an ex-girlfriend - she was just one of many women that Oliver cheated with when he was dating Laurel. Also, "forced years-ago split" makes them sound like star-crossed lovers. IIRC, it was Baby Mama's decision to take the money offered by Moira.

You're right - I had to watch the scene again (but Oliver still showed a surprising lack of situational awareness)...

So I just posted the news in the Golden Arrow thread that GB is Adweek's TV Producer of the Year. In that article, GB distinguishes among his four superhero shows as follows: His distinctions between Arrow and Flash make no sense to me. Arrow also has a family drama element. Flash also has an epic saga/crime element. Their primary difference is in tone and characters.

Here's the thing about Oliver being subdued by Liza Warner that bothered me. Oliver is physically stronger than Liza. Oliver could've reached up, grabbed her wrists or arms, forcibly wrenched them apart and away from his neck, and then flipped her forward over his head in one smooth move.
