Well, I got my new TV Guide in the mail (with The X-Files cover), and it looks like January 19, 2016, is going to be a Marvel vs. DC showdown (and ABC vs. The CW)... 8:00 pm (EST): ABC - Marvel's Captain America: 75 Heroic Years ("The history of Capt. America.") The CW - The Flash 9:00 pm (EST): ABC - Marvel's Agent Carter (two-hour S2 premiere) The CW - DC's Legends of Tomorrow: Their Time is Now (primer) and DC Films Presents: Dawn of the Justice League (special) ETA: The above LoT special is a primer introducing all the characters, it is not the premiere.

Official trailer for Pride and Prejudice and Zombies (out Feb. 5th) - I don't know, this movie could be either enjoyable or really bad...

Since Brooklyn is one of this year's Oscar nominees for Best Picture, I wonder if EBR will attend any of the Oscar after parties.

That's such sad news. I just recently watched Galaxy Quest on TV - what a wonderful movie and Alan Rickman was great in it. From Die Hard to Galaxy Quest to Harry Potter to Lee Daniels' The Butler (among other movies), he showed wide acting range and commanded the screen.

Actors should just ignore it, laugh it off or have fun with it. David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson had to put up with a lot of real life shipping back in the day and again now that they're doing press for the X-Files revival. They never dated and married other people, but lots of fans wanted them together in real life because of their incredible on-screen chemistry.

I don't recall if this has been discussed before... Do you think Oliver finally confided in Felicity during their 5-month summer hiatus everything that happened to him during the five years when he was away? If he didn't, that would be curious. When they had their first date, it seemed like he was starting to tell her (before the explosion). It would be odd if he still hasn't confided in her, especially now that he's proposed to her. On the other hand, if he did tell her about those five years, then Felicity would believe that he's now being open with her about everything - which would underscore her reaction in 408 to his still keeping secrets.

I believe that what happened in the Vixen animated series counts as part of the show canon, just like what happens in the Arrow tie-in comics counts as canon. The EPs have said that Vixen is part of the Flarrowverse, and Oliver, Barry, Felicity (via phone) and Cisco all made appearances on Vixen (the fern was referenced, Oliver found out that Barry kissed Felicity on Vixen). When Mari appears on Arrow, they'll probably work some background exposition into the dialogue - or maybe use the ever popular device of flashbacks (shooting live action versions of key scenes from the animated series).
