To be fair, she didn't know it was the Evil Twin. She had complete confidence that Alan knew what to do so I can see her sitting there waiting on them to return. This is the part of the character* that I dislike, that she sees everyone as a good person (or at least their good side, as in Tuck) and defends/agrees with them without actually finding out whether it's true. Also, her encouragement can be detrimental, as in telling Ash to work it out at home instead of a clinic. Repeatedly telling Ash that she is strong does not make it so. *(I do love the actress.) I would think Tucker had a complete dossier made up on Alan from the first time Assley mentioned him. Guess it didn't include the Evil Twin. Can't stand her acting or the character, either. What did she do to win the award? Because skirting her Community Service, staying out of jail for murder, fucking her kids over, and sliming all over a grandpa rock star is not my idea of Emmy winning akting.

Was the 'noise' in the other room just a ruse of psycho Alan or was Martin really there and clocked Alan and took over the session? How freaking big is Alan's apartment that Tracy didn't come bustling in at the sound of raised voices? How freaking long does it take to make coffee? (And wouldn't she have noticed Alan knocked out/tied up while she was back there?) I expected her back, waving her pom-poms, to oversee the hypnosis. Will Tucker manage to find the fair maiden in time to save her or don't they have Google maps in France? Inquiring minds really don't give a rat's potato chip. The Kardashians can read?! Is it too much to hope she's leaving the show?

I think it was just a moment of opportunity because the time to ask her to sell the shares was when they were telling her what a pain in the ass she is. Now he was just calling her out on all her 'I do it for the Family' bullhockey. Could Jill be testing him? To see if he's worthy of her trust? Alteralan saw Tuck coming first. Alteralan acts as if he doesn't know Tucker and takes that opportunity to further the BadTwin story. (Lot of opportunities today). Before they went out to the bars he went home to freshen up, I think. Why he chose then to don the leather jacket of villany and wander around until he met up with Tuck, I don't know.

Amen. I'm older than Alan and I wouldn't leave home without it. Something is fishy with Alan. The whole "I'm not practicing, I'm lecturing/retired" story seemed a little off and Assley refers to him as a friend more than a therapist. Does she (and we) actually know if he's a therapist or is that just what he told her? I'm in agreement with Surfgirl that there is no other brother and Alan is a raging ADP bent on destroying Assley.

Holey HIPAA, Batman. You let someone you know is mentally unstable read the notes on private sessions? Assley, get a new friend/therapist asap. And Traci, stop gasping that you won't put her in an institution. It's what she needs and is probably a lot safer than what's happening now.

Well, if they narrow it down to only one person living there, I'm ok with that. Saves having to change out the nighttable lamps and the door plaques all the time. Speaking of interior decoration: if by some remote chance the police get a search warrant for the Raunch and stumble upon the hidden panel, wouldn't they be just a wee bit suspicious of the fresh cement? And don't get me started on how Viktor and Cole are going to build a wall without getting cement all over the floor. First of all, their main water source is behind the bars and last time I checked, you need water to mix up that mud. And are they just going to leave the mixing tray and empty bags down there? Bad planning Viktor.

Well, yeah. And wait til Viktor gets wind of it. That cell may get a new denizen before it's boarded up. Guess Drinkki didn't tell the outpatient staff about her sponsor who thinks getting drunk and pilled up to scare her into rehab is a good idea. (since it worked.)

I think a lot of that stems from not being able to have booktalk. This is a production that needs the comparison or reference to the book to understand what is going on. I agree with you that this was a marvelous effort. I loved the Carravaggio paintings, the winding stairs and the world-weary way Tom acted when he was by himself. I think he channeled Highsmith very well. I'm also not concerned about 'the science'. I didn't believe Tom could carry a dead body down stairs and into a car in the book, or the movie and here.. well, bouncing a dead body down marble steps without getting caught. Uh, no. The boat scene was also a little far fetched (same in the book) but it did really add some tension. Having read Strangers on a Train which is waaaay different than the Hitchcock version, I would love to see Zalliam & Co take it on.

Much Ado About Nothing?

This is not a spoiler, just speculation and perhaps just a bit of wishful thinking on my part: There has been so much (obsessive, really) interest in getting Claire on a horse and riding, riding, riding in the past weeks that I feel it could actually be part of the story JG is trying to sell us. Claire has never ridden and shows appropriate concern that she will not be very good at it. Apprehension is not a good attitude to have around a horse. Then we have Jordan on escape-from-incarceration #11876. Put these factors together and you get Jordan rushing past Viktor, Cole and Michael (because being half-starved and drunk for howeverthefuck she's been incarcerated make for a top form athlete) and she runs out to the stables where Claire is sitting for the first time ever on Midnight Blue. Jordan spooks the horse, who throws Claire who will now be in a wheel chair for life. Bonus points if the horse tramples Jordan to her very real death. Too much for me to ask for?

Claire held the job at Newman and was (kinda) vetted by Nikki when they had Claire's interview at Society. I don't think she would have been able to pull either off if she didn't have some kind of education. (And if she fudged the interview question of education, then she can just use that.) Of course, that was for business, I assume, and I'm not sure how that translates into working on an Education Masters. I'm sure Mommy Victoria will get/buy her into whatever school she wants. She will have her masters next week and open a state-of-the-art pre-school by June. Because the MWT and IIC think that's stellar writing. ooooo, so gripping-Jordan's on the loose again. What will happen? The tension is more than mere mortals such as us can handle. #dingdongmakesurethewitchisdeadthistime

I was fully expecting her back in the hot pink outfit she had on at the GCAC binge with Jack. Ya know, just for continuity's sake with the rest of the characters. Rant time!: Stop with the ingenue crap with Claire. Every time she goes out into the 'big wide world' is not an adventure. Ffs, she went to CL when she was working at NE. It's not new and she doesn't (I hope) have alters that have been living in solitary for the last 20+ years. And could Cole tone it down on having to find a new adventure for her every day? She's now officially 5 years old and needs to be entertained every minute? Somebody needs to set Dummer straight on maternity and rights of a stepmom that is no longer married to the kid's father. Kyle should file a restraining order. Viktor has become worse than when he was berating/controlling his kids. The spitting scene was disgusting and added nothing to an already horrific story of him keeping a human being locked in his wine cellar. Couldn't Dummer have clued her boob flashing mama in on how inappropriate that dress was on 'her son's' grandma? After all, Dummer runs a big fashion house. 😉 Daniel needs to hoof it back to Savannah with his not wife and daughter. Maybe he'll learn how to be an adult for the next contract he signs. I fail to see how Princess Luisa ownership will make his screwed up life any better. And how is he affording that condo and I hope Sally got paid in full for the decorating?

Time does not proceed in GC the same way it does for the rest of us. If it did Jordan would be suffering from vitamin D deficiency by now. We've had Chadam fly in and out of The Clinic, we've had at least two days of Billy being MIA, the Rock Star Tour finally left but not after a luncheon reveal to Phylith (so there's two days) and The Eternal Board Meetings spanned at least two days and Assley has not changed clothes as often as she changed personalities. And we're still all in our original clothes.

Which made me think that Mamie ran right to Billy and hatched this ridiculous plot to take over The World* C-W. It has the markings of a person who knows nothing about business (Auntie Mame) and a pushy Nepo (Billy) who both think that they can bully the rest of the kids. No way a computer savvy, IPhone capable business woman just ups and leaves on a bucket list and doesn't tell anyone. Boo, JG. (I do hope Jess Walton is ok and this is just shitty writing.) *and the two of them do remind me of Pinky and the Brain. Here's a way to save some money, Sal. Move out of the GCAC. As much as I would love to see an end to the torture cell story, I can't imagine Viktor letting her out and setting her up at the Abbotts. She'd need 24 hour surveillance and we know how well the CrackHead Security team is at that. Her vendetta is with the Newmans so I would imagine she'd bolt first thing and hide out, dreaming up a new plan. Since she's officially dead, she can be anyone, anywhere.

Not in front of a judge, for sure. Tara would have a say, even if she is in prison. And the judge would have told Dummer she has no. nada. none. 'rights' at all to make any decisions about Hairyson. And also tell her to stop calling him 'my son. I got the same vibe. And Jack immediately came to mind as the 'dirty business' she could take care of. But how would she know about the Hotel Room Drunkout and Viktor's anger at Jack? Maybe she's fishing because she knows Viktor must have a big dance card for revenge. And I'm so tired of this cruel story. I wish Viktor would just take her to the swiftly running river and throw her in. No one will be the wiser as to how and when she died if the bottom feeders do their job.

and Dummer yammering on about how she doesn't want an (attempted) murderer near 'her son'. Uh, Dummer, honey, you are sitting across from an an actual murderer and not having a problem letting her interact with Hairy. Still think she should fling her poo on the leather throne. This dungeon torture/taunting is starting to give me bad vibes like I had when Deedee died. I may have to quit the show...again. There's enough felonies Jordan has racked up to keep her in solitary/death row for the rest of her life. What Viktor is doing is cruel and unusual punishment which he has no right or authority to do. The whole story is disgusting and certainly not Love in the Afternoon.
