Exhibit A: Jordan and her decades of hate. Cameron might dispute this. -

I dunno, maybe a good lawyer? Who has a top notch investigator? Who aren't involved with/related to/sympathetic to any of the main players in this farce. Since the tricksters' reveal, I don't think Diane ever wanted to be or is gonna wanna be anywhere near Victor and his machinations. And she's probably getting her CEO at Jabot back. My money is on Audra getting reinstated. Boo to the writer(s) if Kyle gets it back. Which could happen since it looks as if he is in a relationship with granddaughter Claire/Eve. My hope is that he gives it to MyBabyNikki and drops the deal for Chancellor. Like that's a bad thing?! Burning question: Is Kyle still going to live at the Abbott Mansion or will he (finally) get a grownup place all his own? -

Adam would have told her to go to a lawyer before confessing to Chance. You always plead "not guilty" even if you are! Try telling her Danny Romalotti composed a song just for her declaring his undying love. That should start her engines. -

Chelz is too short for him. I like that Sally can look him straight in the eye when they stand up. He also seems less grating when Sally is listening to him, as if he appreciates being listened to. -

Where to start with the Friday Rant? ViKtor is the worst. Hands down. First he highjacks his baby girl's wedding which they had already planned but somehow lost the venue (Viktor?), solely for the opportunity to get all and any to genuflect at his feet because he rebuilt the Old Raunch for his Mybaby idiot wife. Then, while carrying on about Family and how important it is and how this is an important day for Abby and Devon (yathink?) he manipulates a couple of corporate explosions whose fallout land directly in the middle of the happiest day in A&D's life. (And it's her birthday!!grrrr.) Many happy returns of the day! Then we have the distraction of Phyllis (all week) culminating in a car crash with a fire that isn't even in the car, but to the side apparently, that the fire department should have arrived at before Chance got there. Are the numbers 9 and 1 missing from every phone in GC? Diane shows up at a wedding that she has no dog in and we know Viktor did that, too, because he can't wait to tell her she has Glissade and see her fire her son. Again. Esther, for no reason other than she may have tippled a little too much, turns nasty. The wardrobe department has already been thoroughly chastised so I don't need to go on about the ridiculous outfits these people who have money to burn find in the bargain basement bins. And then! We have Jordan back!!! Maximum security my ass. She burned down the last prison. How is she not in the Black Hole of Calcutta? My only explanation for her escape is that while being escorted from one place to another in the maximum security prison, she suggested a gratis sexual encounter to her guard and whilst he was throwing up (projectile vomiting, for sure), she escaped. Throwing Ian Ward into the mix is a stretch for me, too. I know there is history with Sharon and Mariah, but lo, these many years we haven't seen him doing anything about it. Wasn't he in prison, too? Guess he and Jordan were pen (pun intended) pals. Also conveniently explains why Brussel Sprout Breath is back and not going after Viktor & Co. Finally, what is it going to take to get a straight jacket on Sharon? Her googly eyes and lips that never really fully close when she talks need professional attention, not to mention her brain. This is beyond Nick, Chance, Faith and Mariah's pay grade. Added note: All week I have been wondering when Phyllis's lips were going to slide off her face. They look like they were melting or she had borrowed Halloween wax lips from Sally and they were disintegrating. Anyhow, when the car was (supposed to be) on fire, I was waiting for her to be totally lip-less. -

Much as I dislike Jordan, I'm glad it's looks as if it's not Daisy. I couldn't stand her or her mother and don't want to see them back. I do like the guy who plays Ian Ward, so I there's that bright spot. Burning question, tho: how did Jordan get out of what I thought was maximum security and why didn't the prison inform the Newmans that she is on the loose? -

Like building her a Replica Raunch isn't enough! She can spend the rest of her days playing Clearly the Loon and not even have to worry about corporate intrigue. Which may be just what Viktor is hoping will distract her because I think Vik has other plans that don't include Nikki for Chancellor. If Nikki didn't notice that a whole new house was being built on the property for, oh, probably the last year, how can she run a large corporation? And if I never hear "what Catherine/Neil would want" again, I will die happy. It brings to mind the line in Game of Thrones-something about the Dead never Die. A conveniently located housekeeping cart that the housekeeper left her lanyard (you know, that thing you wear around your neck so you won't lose your pass key) on. -

Nope, still in Malory Archer's office. WTF? Viktor got a whole new house built in a couple of weeks? It took 9 months for me to get my ADU built. I want Viktor's contractors. -

Here ya go, Surfs. Friday Rant: Chance is so clueless. How can he not see that Summer is manipulating him? The reaction she had to Kyle and Claire being out together should tell him she's not really that into him. So Show just dragged all the old Raunch decor out of storage and rearranged it in the new Raunch? If it was such a big deal for Nikki to have the old place back, why didn't Viktor do that when they rebuilt? Why are there only three places to eat dinner in GC? (I'm counting Crimson Lights as a place to have -well, something that resembles dinner food.) If Traci is so into Notwhowemaythinkheis that she wants to move in with him, how about a completely new environment that only the two of them will live in? It makes me think it's really Martin, who we know loves chaos. Oh, the Royal Couple has been living out and that's why we see them dining out so much? Could have let us in on that little secret sooner, show, ya know. I don't think it would have ruined the surprise for me as I would never suspect that the Raunch was being unrenovated. Speaking of convoluted plans-what the hell is Viktor's? Who is he after? Jack, Diane,Kyle-maybe Nikki? Finding it hard to put the puzzle together as to how Vik is accomplishing whatever it is he wants to do. Back to clueless Chance. He of all people should know that Phyllis is probably violating her probation. Arrest her already. Also, the mention of peanut butter and banana pancakes, which I realize is some homage to Heather and Lucy (who isn't even there), that Phyllis says she'll be making. Hmmm, going to serve that up to Summer? Can't wait. -

Phyllis's privilege knows no bounds. I thought the three guys in the same tie/shirt/suits that were there were probably newly arrived guests that thought they had stumbled on the Manager's Happy Hour at the GCAC. I mean, who were they? Professional mourners? Pallbearer? She didn't work long enough in GC to have friends at work who would attend her funeral and it doesn't seem as if the happy little Romalotti family has any friends outside the family circle. And make a point of putting her leg forward when she stands to be sure we get to see the knobbiness. That dress is not for her. For a brief moment I thought we were going to have another 'runs blindly into the street and gets hit by a car' scenario as we had with Adam and the guy he pushed in front of a car at the Noname Bar. Could have solved a lot of problems but I bet Phyllis would have said Sharon's dying words were "I killed Heather". -

This isn't a spoiler, just my mental meanderings: If Ashley figures out it is NotAlan will everyone just blame her illness and think she's hallucinating again? [I personally hope it's really Alan. I like Traci and don't want to see her hurt-again.] -

And let's not forget the lab tech who disappeared/died. Or all the little Crickets and Tighty Pants that won't be seeing the light of day when she tried to run them over. As to Phyllis's 'probation' and subsequent community service: it hasn't been mentioned in forever. Maybe she flashed her tennis balls to get someone to sign off on it for her. In fact, Daniel should be mentioning all her bad acts, just to keep her in line. Slap him? Teach him how to dress like a Csuite employee? Shave the grizzle off his muzzle? -

What I would like to see is Sharon walk into the cottage and see Cam and Heather going at it hot and heavy on the couch. Now, that's a vanquish. Friday Rant: If I were in a restaurant/bar having an overpriced meal and some inconsiderate former CEO was having a shouting match with her former boss while on the internet, I would complain-LOUDLY. I realize Lily doesn't have an office, but doesn't she have the previouslyDavon's apartment? She staying away because there are too many murders in the building? Nikki isn't just annoying-she's persistently annoying. Lily said "no"-deal with it. Although I do like her look of confusion when Lily brings her up to speed on Viktor's machinations. I can't with Phyllis. She should be staying waaay in the background of this murder investigation lest someone remember her own murder history. Two? More? What happened to the two meals that were sitting on the table next to Sally and Abby? There were no customers sitting there the whole time and yet two plates of food basked in the glow of Abby's elation over getting yet another dress by Sally Spectra. Jack has not cried enough over his broken life-does this mean it really is a ruse by him and Diane? Changing the sofas in the Revolving Door Suite at the GCAC doesn't do squat if you are going to keep that same potted palm in the corner. The opening credits showed a busy park and what seemed like children's voices as they ran through celebrating Halloween. And then we get the postage stamp of grass that was even too small to hold two families at once (or Sharon would not have any room when she arrived). Lose the park set, Show. It's just not believable. -

Color me disgusted with the Let's-talk-about-gramma Fest. I haven't seen this much whitewash since Mark Twain died. I was disgusted by Dummer and Danyell's obvious delight in Mom's escapades- such an amusing outlier, that one. They sat there beaming at her stories instead of going "whoa, Mom, not that story!" I'm disgusted with Lucy-fer for not being disgusted with Grammy's criminal exploits and buying in to all her excuses for her behaviour. Grammy just loved (insert person she is stalking) so much, her actions are justified. I'm disgusted that no one mentioned that Grammy also killed a person and dumped them in the river. Wonder if that will come up when Phylth is trying to prove Sharon is guilty. And Lucy is old enough to know about how Phylth let her kids think she was dead, which must have come up in some conversation after she and Hairther moved to GC. Lucy needs to take all this new info and have it fact-checked. -

Yeah, me, too. Especially at the end when we see Kyle looking all hurt and sad, as if he didn't realize til then how much his parent's loved him and how bad he hurt them. Claires new love interest has to have some redeeming qualities, I quess. And that there are apparently no other cops in GC. Does he even write police reports? Where does he keep that bag of evidence? In his car? -

Amen. I worked in the jurisdiction I was serving and if a file/case came to my desk and I knew the accused, well, I had to declare a conflict of interest. I couldn't even touch the file. Another example, they don't let jurors talk about a case until after the verdict. No one involved in the case should be sharing anything with non-law enforcement. I'm also gonna call 'conflict of interest' on this whole investigation. Chance is too close to the players and boy, howdy, what fun when Sharon becomes a suspect. -

Or was it when Billy returned to the fold and wanted the co-ceo with Jack? I thought that was foreshadowing Lily joining Jabot, but I guess that would be a step down for her. Weren't Audra and Jack chem tested before Diane got back? I don't think it would be a very good match, but it sure would piss off Diane. And then Kyle can return to Jabot to team up with Mom for the Ultimate Smackdown Tag Team match at the next Wrestlemania. Love me some smackdown. -

Amen to the amen. If my kid talked to me that way he'd be out of the house and out of the will. What a whiney little shit. So after planning their wedding and picking out all the stuff they want to do at it, Devon and Abby are just going to hand it all over to Viktor and hope for the best? What's going to happen to the matchbooks and cups of jordon almonds and embossed napkins and the ceremonial cake knife? People as rich as they are can't find another venue? I wouldn't trust Viktor to plan my next trip to the bathroom. And who are all these guests? We never see or hear about 'outsiders'. And he's going to stage this all in little ole GC? Event of the season to be sure.
