  1. And just about everyone in this show does it. It goes beyond mere exposition for the viewer. It's sliding into filler territory. Repeating 'he put (your, our) life in danger' over and over will not make it not have happened. Move on, ffs. How many times are we going to hear about Viktor being the hero and taking a bullet for everyone? Or the rehashing of everyone's relationships? (Chelz and Adam, Traci and NotAlan, for example.) Or Billy droning on about his nonexistent company and Audra going about how she will get what she deserves in the business world. Let's get some new stories, writer(s).
  2. it seems that history may repeat itself, when Nick and Sharon get back together and Phyltthy moves in to break it up. She already convinced him not to go to London and leave her all alone when they hadn't found the Voice yet.
  3. I'm surprised that Phylly didn't invite herself and Summer along for a real family reunion. Are Nick, Sharon and Phyl officially a throuple now?
  4. 🤣🤣🤣🤣😂😍
  5. They kept pounding the 'when he hypnotized me' dreck so are we to believe Martin did a Mr. Spock Mind Meld on her and got all her history via video memory? And Shar backed that up with 'it's a psychological experiment' so we will know only a REAL psychologist coulda dun it. Conflict Alert: Martin is not a real psychologist (unless he Mind Melded Allen.)
  6. If this was Law and Order that confession (which I hope was video taped with sound) would be thrown out because he wasn't mirandized. And the girls literally beat it out of him?!! Really?? Sloppy, sloppy police work but I'm glad this story is wrapped.
  7. Couldn't be too far away from GC because the commute for staff, visitors and suppliers might have been prohibitive. I'm just wondering why a large building has been left vacant and hasn't been snapped up by someone who needs office space. Like a computer-based business or a bitcoin exchange. I also amend my classification of the farmhouse as 'abandoned'. If it is being rented, perhaps it is not a working farm, just an architectural reference to the style of the house and has no valuable acreage with it. I liked that someone ( Traci? Jack?) brought up that Ashley and Allen/Martin would have been on the same flight. Allen should have jumped in with a snarky "I didn't fly 1st class". Hope Chance has enough sense to check his passport. Question: How will whose fingerprints Chance wants to match to Allen/Martin be determined? Twins have the same DNA, do they have the same fingerprints, too? And I assume Chance had enough grey cells to get Allen's prints.
  8. And my favorite potted plant is still there in the corner. =sniff=🥲 And yells into the phone! Wouldn't NotAllan hear that or at least notice that Traci's kimono is lit up? My new theory is Allan/Martin is really Dumas and the abandoned farmhouse* outside GC is a Tardis-like headquarters for taking over the corporate world of Genoa City. *hmmmm. An abandoned farmhouse, with acreage I would assume, and an abandoned Clinic. Are there no developers in GC? What a waste.
  9. Forgot to add to my rant. Audra looks as if she's stylin' Morticia Addams-which makes perfect sense if you're meeting up with a vampire. Guess she didn't get the Blue Today memo.
  10. And she winds up saying she'll think about it!!! All he's offered her is to be head of one of his departments at NE. Doesn't even tell her which one, just says they will find one for her, (so she doesn't even get a choice). She's already made it clear that she would have made Glissade a powerhouse company as head of an entire company but he thinks she will jump at the chance to work for him in some un-named capacity. And is Victor telling her she doesn't have to f*ck Kyle, just make it look that way? What the hell is that? Harrison has become a baseball hat in a sick game of keepaway with his supposed parents. None of these people should have custody of him. He'd be better off with Christian in the garage. I so want to see Tara return and reveal that Kyle is not his daddy and since we all know Summer isn't his mommy, maybe Tara can free Harrison. At the first sign of the pouty face, he should have gotten up and said "you're on your own, kid" and walked out. I would like to see him and Audra together. What a hot, beautiful couple they would make.
  11. I'd like to know how any of them had a battery left after they sat in a bag for a week.😉
  12. One reason may be the end scene where the hotel employees are waving goodbye to Belinda and Zion. It is the same scene that was in TWL #1 when Belinda is standing, heartbroken but forcing a smile as Tanya leaves. I agree that there was no reason for Pornchai to believe she was going to go into business with him. When he first brought it up I was disgusted with him because I thought he was just playing her (with the sexual encounter) to find a way to have his own spa. Maybe he thought she had money or something. It did seem that she liked him a lot when he stopped by at breakfast so I don't understand why she didn't invite him along on her new journey of wealth. I doubt he's ever made anything in a kitchen that didn't say 'this side up' on the bag. And certainly never washed anything used for food prep.
  13. Didn't he also say he'd had dealings with him in the past? Guess they weren't in person or even over the phone. The movie is The Usual Suspects and it's available on MAX/HBO. No one has ever seen Keyser, either.
  14. I can't, in a million years, imagine him as Damian's boss.
  15. Trepidatious, Phyl? Wow, that had to be an MS ad lib because I don't think there are any thesauruses, dictionaries, writing tools, etc in the writers' room. Is what characters do when they rehash their story to another character or characters called a Public Service Exposition? Damian didn't leave out a thing. It seems to be happening a lot with several characters and their stories. Guess the writers are taking Prevert Fast Forwarding seriously. I think A. Dumas is really Keyser Soze.
  16. I sincerely doubt that. IS, honey, not has.😉 Amy sure has a lot of nerve, treating Nate as if she is also his mother because now he's brother to Damian. And demanding that the "boys" spill everything they are arguing about. What? Are they nine year olds squabbling? She seems to forget that she insinuated herself into Nate's life to find his unknown sib, has moved into his apartment and generally just disrupted his entire life with her problems. (So when was the last time Nate was in the office? I can understand why Lily is pissed with the whole thing.) Maybe a side-effect of the 'treatment' is regressing to Damian's childhood and including Nate. Isn't this an experimental drug she is on whose side-effects are not quite known and shouldn't she still be in ChiTown so the doctors can monitor it? Take your attitude and walk it out the door, Amy. And don't forget your wig. It gives him a great excuse for why nothing is happening with Abbott Communications.
  17. Beth Maitland should get an Emmy for her part in this dumb story. MS shouldn't. There are believable tears and fears and then there are bogus tears and fears. Guess who has the believable ones. And since it's Friday and I need to have a good rant: How come Sharon who has been involved in THREE kidnappings this past year (I'm counting the kidnapping of her daughter who became a human bomb and Sharon had to kill someone to free her) is not in the throes of PTSD (or whatever the hell Phyllllthy is supposed to have)? Her kidnappings were back to back (depending on how the TimeWarpLine is interpreted) and she seems to be aware that it will take time to process the experience(s). Phyltttth is squawking and Crocodile Tearing at any and everyone who comes near her and then refusing help. The Connor and His OCD crap. He sits there demanding with his Ugly frown-face to know why they tore him away from his homework to talk to him. Teach him some manners. Oh, right-forgot who his parents are. I still can't believe a guy fell two stories (or more, I don't know) on top of his brother had the foresight to quickly change shirts while he had an injured arm to fool the people who found him into believing he was Alan. Did he change the pants too or is it mandatory that all twins wear the same pants? I still think it is Alan messing with Traci and the PTSD Girls because he had guilt and took on the Martin persona after the fall. At least that gives us Traci helping him to become the real Alan she fell in love with and maybe getting a well-deserved happy ending. End Rant
  18. I'm thinking that Dumas had Damian pretty well vetted when he handed over CEO/ownership of his companies. He could have researched Damian's mom, too, and found out she lived in GC where his arch-nemesis Viktor holds court. A little more research finds the birth connection that might exist between Nate's dad and Damian and now Dumas has something to work with. The Winters (Lily and Devon and Nate) are running Chancellor until they are not. Viktor has always had something to do with it since he owned it after Katherine died. When Dumas determines that Amy had a baby with Nate's dad but Damian doesn't know, he gets the ball rolling for the reveal. Why, you say? Because it will get him in the door at Chancellor to mess with Viktor. The takeover of Chancellor by the Newman's gave Dumas a way to get the Winters in his plan. Amy's cancer was coincidental, but in a good way for Dumas. He still could have used her (and the He's Your Brother lie) without it. Now, Dumas (since he must read all the news flashes about GC Legacy Corporations, doesn't everyone?) also knows about Billy and his ousting and plan to have the biggest, bestest media conglomerate since Rupert Murdoch and he's using that buffoon to blindside Viktor. All of this will be for naught, since Viktor always wins. We know Billy with blow this. **This is not a spoiler-just my caffeine fueled mind going off on a tangent.**
  19. Why do they even bother pretending they are ever going to the "office"? You know they will have breakfast in bed, then go to CL to get some coffee, then off to Society for a brunch with a parent and then have some 'work related' meeting in the Jazz Hole and then back to Society or GCAC for dinner and then back up to bed. None of these a-holes ever see the inside of an office.
  20. About as much as we care if Phylllttthy and Sharona become bffs for-evah.
  21. I didn't, either. [that's why I have CC on permanently] But I like the actor who plays Michael. It's a shame the character has been demoted from DA, competent lawyer, attentive husband to Lauren and the only character with a sense of humor to being Viktor's henchman/gofer. He gets ordered around by the old dementiabag to find out everything that said dementiabag could probably find on his phone all by himself. And! he gets to refer to Viktor as a "better father" than his own. Man, you can't buy that kind of loyalty, can you? I'm surprised Vik hasn't made Michael a CEO by now. Ok. If Alexander Aristotle Dumas is really after NE, how big of a coincidence is the Winters Have a New Brother storyline? Could Amy really be in cahoots with Ari and they cooked this up to befuddle Viktor and steal his company? They would have, of course, to rely on Viktor wanting to 'help' the Winters after the hatchet job he did on Lily. Since they have history that assumes Viktor has met Dumas in person (which we have never heard about before this) I don't think it is Tucker. But Viktor seems a little too concerned about Dumas for it to only be about the Winter's welfare or some ancient dealings they had.
  22. It would also allow GoodAlan to go to rehab and get well. Traci would be by his side through all of it and they might just come out of it with a decent relationship. She gets to keep the ring, right?
  23. That thought crossed my mind, too, especially since we didn't have a funeral for Martin, but the whole 'changed shirts before everybody got down to the street' was a little hard for me to buy. My thoughts are that Alan has taken on his brother's persona out of guilt for killing him and is heading for a major PTSD breakdown any minute. His GoodAlan side responds positively to Traci, but his BadMartin side just wants to fuck with everyone. Why he picked Sharon and Phlyylthe? Haven't a clue. My first reaction was "why are you going to make your whole clan traipse off to Paris right away (or was she even going to invite them)? How rude!" and then she said Alan was just going ahead to make a 'special' venue for their wedding. (involving a crypt, chains and massive doses of hypnotics.) Well, she didn't get to pick out the ring, either, so I guess she doesn't need to participate in planning her own wedding. And just because I'm curious- how does "he has gone to fix the hack on his phone" make any sense? This is something he couldn't let the love of his life tag along on? Where did he go? A TMobile store that only allows phone owners in? He couldn't hand this off to the Computer Genius Phyllthe? (Oh, right......) I hate March Madness.
  24. Is GC in Wisconsin? I thought it was. Illinois isn't that far away. (yes, I checked a map.) He probably could have driven there in the time it took to go rail on Nate. Or hired a car or a plane or borrowed the jet from his new brother's company being the biga$$ CEO/owner of two companies that he is. What a whiner-never misses a chance.
