  1. I mean, you'd think they'd want to promote Teri Hatcher and Kevin Sorbo in a Kevin Smith directed episode.
  2. It's a possibility. If they reconcile right after the musical, that could be a confirmation.
  3. They've been acknowledging it since the start of Season 2. And even more so in the first half of this season -- but haters gotta hate. There really wasn't a good reason. I'm hoping they don't wait until the end of the season to reunite them. At least they both reaffirmed that they still loved each other.
  4. So Jay gets left behind in speedster hell — that ain’t right at all. So with Wally out, and Jay in, I’m thinking Jay is another possible candidate for Savitar. Seriously show, you were doing so well subverting the trope — but now Barry wants to have “space” apart from Iris to save Iris? It just doesn’t fit what they’ve been showing all season. Noooo! Jesse stay a little longer! The team needs more women! And more people punching HR! And now Earth-2 doesn’t have a Flash. I still like Cavanugh, but this episode was proof that HR is a waste of space and screentime this season. He’s had a few good moments, but not enough to justify the other 90% of ridiculousness. I keep thinking “this would have been a better scene if it was with [X] instead of HR”. Oh no. I’m glad they’ve been exploring Cisco’s powers, but it is already becoming a crutch for the show/team/writers. I’ve seen this on several other sci-fi shows, and it only gets more ridiculous as time goes on. I’ll have more thoughts on the Speedforce + Barry later, but it was nice to see Jay, Eddie, Ronnie, and Snart back on the show! Can’t believe they put this dreary episode right before the musical.
  5. This is completely for plot. (Even though it's unnecessary) Because somehow Barry "there's no Flash without Iris" Allen now needs 'space' to deal with Savitar. It's dumb -- are they going to break up every time a new threat comes along? -------- In non-WestAllen musings: I knew that Jesse would leave at some point, but she just got here! Sad for Wally - even though that relationship wasn't that deep. Disappointed that they couldn't have Iris and Jesse talk to each other. ::SIGH:: Was glad we got a scene with Joe and Iris, though. They don't do that enough.
  6. Who gave a "pep talk" this time? The episode was mostly the opposite. It's really disappointing they backtracked on not doing the whole 'we need to be apart so I can protect you' trope; but I don't think it's at all like "I can't be with you because you kept your lovechild a secret from me".
  7. E!Online's Candice interview (in which it seems like they were pushing for certain answers, but CP is better than that):
  8. They work great as friends! I think they're a little too similar to each other to work as a (TV) couple. Looking forward to their duet!
  9. Heh, Barry's not into blondes. And 'Iris' and 'Mon-El' are playing different characters, so I'm not worried. The musical part looks like it's going to be fun! I'm only concerned with everything outside that.
  10. It was; TVLine edited. If you like Cosnett I'd say watch; at least for his sexy, sexy voice. It's not really Eddie but the speed force talking through his image.
  11. I wonder how Daylight Savings AND this nor'easter are going to affect the ratings....
  12. Quote from Variety's Candice interview: Wait-- so are Garber and Martin playing a couple?

  14. From the TV Line interview with Candice:
  15. Why haven't the photos for next week's episode been released yet?? ---------- Musical crossover set visit! (starting at 1:56)
  16. "Into the Speed Force" preview: Musical set visit video: (starting at 1:56)
  17. Candice Patton interview, discussing the latest developments on the show: ::HARSH SIGH:: Then again, on Supergirl they can only barely incorporate the journalism of it's title character, so I guess this is a Berlanti/CW problem?
  18. Ask Ausiello: Yeah, it looks like they're keeping the reveal until the last few episodes. Eh, I don't know about there not being any hints, I think they have given us some. But if there really weren't any hints that'd just be bad writing, and unfair to the audience.
  19. We lost Cat and James for Mon-El? Naaahhh, son. We'll see if he's a regular next season, but they really don't need to add another dude to the cast.
