I hope it is a new one and it’s just tough to make out because of blurryness. It would make more sense to modify her Siren suit than for her to take a dead woman’s outfit, but she’s taken the rest of that dead woman’s life so I suppose it would be fitting, LOL.

It is the one part of E-1 Laurel’s life she hasn’t inserted herself in, so perhaps the redemption cannot be completed until that achievement is unlocked?

The other person who was tweeting from on set posted that she wasn't going to be sharing what she saw because they were repeatedly asked not to take pictures, but she did tweet this:

Stephen was there with them (and per the person who posted, was standing next to Katie in a scene). So was everyone else on the team: DR, CH, JH, and RG.

Oliver's dead on her earth and the person on set said that they heard Oliver say something like, "Overwatch, do you have eyes on (something)." So...I don't think so? Although I guess both of those things would be easy to retcon.

I believe she was there. This person was on set too: And is pretty angry at the OP for posting pics when they were (apparently) repeatedly told no photos - so it seems like whatever she thought she saw was correct - and I'm also guessing if she was wrong about who she saw there this girl would correct her. But maybe not.

It kinda looks like her to me, and her outfit does look like Buckles. Although I'm not really sure why she'd wear that? The whole Becoming Laurel Lance storyline has been gross beyond belief in terms of blurring the lines between the two and making it seem like one could easily replace the other - yuck - so it wouldn't surprise me if she's wearing E-1 Laurel's costume, I just can't quite work out why she would be. So maybe it's just the blurriness that's making it look the same, and they did put forth some small measure of effort with something new/newish. Although the person who posted that pic said there were no stunt doubles on set, and the blurry blob that I think might possibly be Green Arrow doesn't look like Stephen at all, so...who knows.

I wonder why they’d have her wear a wig instead of working in her haircut? Seems like an unnecessary pain in the ass, LOL

Oh yeah - I figured that's the voice OP thought was Stephen, but it doesn't sound like him to me at all. That's why I was wondering if there was other evidence, haha.

Was Stephen tagged somewhere else or did he post about being there? I didn't see anything on his Insta, and he's not in the video (the guy in the background doesn't sound like him either).

Ugh, that is so sweet.

But it's not a useless exit? He left town at the end of season 3 with Felicity, he came back, but it was a way to not have to explain what he'd been doing the past 5 months. He leaves town for whatever dangerous reason they come up with, he spends the summer with his pregnant wife in hiding. He gets called back a lot because they have some storyline they need him for, or he comes back here and there to set up for COIE or whatever storyline they have going on. Stephen gets a lighter filming schedule, there's an in-story excuse for where he is when he's offscreen. Makes perfect sense to me, and is a rare case of actual good planning and leaving themselves some breathing room from TPTB.

Maybe they couldn't be flexible in their crossover plans, or wanted to take advantage of having everyone under contract in S7 to finish out their stories and Stephen told them that he didn't want to continue with the show in a full-time capacity in S8, so they wrote an exit for him from Arrow so that he would have a written-in excuse to not be around so much in the present in the lead-up to the crossover.

Crisis gives them a way to write Oliver off by dying or disappearing. They even set that up with the last crossover (by leaving some wiggle room with regards to what his actual deal was). Also, we don't know that Oliver is going to be in all 9 episodes next season, or if he is - that he would have a big part.
