Seriously. Do these people watch the show? Oliver and Felicity have been "together" more or less for two years now, while Laurel was still breathing. She was probably going to be in the wedding that Felicity just canceled. The wedding that they were going to have...while Laurel was still alive, lmao.

If I had to guess, they'd respond with either: 1. There is no heroic way to die from an embolism or 2. Knowing the threat DD made to Quentin regarding her, Laurel encouraged Quentin to testify against DD anyway, and put the importance of justice over her own personal safety, knowing that DD most likely intended to make good on his threat. I imagine there's some kind of really, really twisted logic arguing for her choice in her own death going on inside those brains.

I think it's probably got something to do with whoever's (Malcom's/Damien's/HIVE's, who knows) last ditch attempt at a Star Citypocalypse.

As long as this difference of opinion isn't about killing bad guys, I guess I might be okay with that, BECAUSE WE NEED TO START KILLING BAD GUYS, OLIVER. I think there's going to be a flood for sure, but I think that's how HIVE is planing to kickstart Genesis.

She wouldn't have to go to them about putting it in if they wanted to let her have it. She's talked about it to the point where the writers had to know she felt that way. I mean, if they did let her have it, they pretty much did it in the worst way possible since she laid her whole heart out on the line and Oliver was like, "Why are you doing this?" and he didn't reciprocate in any way, not even when everyone else told her they loved her.

No team though? I don't know if I buy it. How many times do all of these people need to figure out what they're doing and why? Good lord, it's exhausting.

Maybe they think they defeat and disband HIVE, but the last shot is of Damien in his cavernous underground corn bunker, where he's huddled up with another idol and nursing himself back to health with magic and high fructose corn syrup.

I'm pretty sure he wrote that song about a suicide attempt. Can't wait.

I meant more along the lines of some kind of retcon where we see that they tried again after their discussion at the beginning of S2. I don't *think* the show will go there, it was just a very, very small niggle in the back of my mind

The reviewer is saying, though, that Felicity is hogging show time, and that's why Laurel got the spotlight - because she was gone.

I know there's probably some kind of full-circle healing that's supposed to come from it, like she loved him throughout being a complete shitbag into the man that he became today or...something. But it's such an icky line, because it sheds a new light on their previous interactions, and like Oliver asked, why is she telling him that? He was ready to marry someone else, and he wasn't the one who broke it off. She knows he's in love with another woman, and was the point to make every future interaction between them awkward as hell, or was she trying to manipulate him into reciprocating? I know that ultimately it was "closure" for them, but like a lot of other stuff with this show it seems like no one thought out how this all would come off, because knowing that SHE thought she was going to be okay when she unloaded makes it all look pathetic and ick. Especially since Oliver didn't say "we love you" when everyone else did, and his response to her laying her heart out there was, "Uh...why?" Whoever decided to have her go out like that should never write again, haha.

So, given the flash forward scene and the spoiler pics, does Oliver just hang around until the cemetery dudes cover the coffin with dirt? Does he help them shovel? How freaking long is Felicity chilling in the back of the limo? I need answers.

After seeing the clusterfuck that happened with Sara and Thea, why they'd consider using one now is beyond me. I mean, I guess I can hand wave it since it's for Laurel and Laurel herself didn't seem to care very much about the side effects, but...jeez.

She just said that she didn't agree with Laurel's choice, that she thinks Sara was the love of Laurel's life and she hopes that gets addressed during the funeral or over on Legends.
