Those lizards lose their tales as a defense mechanism. It breaks off in the event prey grabs them by the tail. I assume the boys are trying to capture them and that is when the lizards go in defense mode. The tails grow back.

Simon had tweeted recently about the cast members being paid as the episodes air. Maybe he is implying MTV pays them as each episode airs. It might be their way of ensuring the cast members only get paid for the work they do in each episode and each reunion segment. If MTV can boot Farrah for being difficult to work with, how is it Jenelle & UBT can send out cease & desist letters to the cast members and yet, she still remains on the show? Farrah is difficult to work with, but we also know Jenelle is also difficult as we are watching play out right now. Yet, she remains on the show.

@TheRealT According to what was said by Amber to Gary, she is apparently paying him in a lump sum when her MTV check is in her hands. She didn't say it that clearly because they can't mention their wages on the show, but that was alluded by her to him. I think Gary is being cordial by allowing her to pay that way. At that point, she had not paid what she owed him and that was why he brought it up. Slow clap to the rest of your post on Maci. Gross is really a great description for what she is doing on the show with regard to using a supposed miscarriage and adoption for storylines.

Yes, they should be taken seriously, except no one admitted Cate to a psych facility. They took their time with getting her help which entailed shipping her off on a plane to a rehab facility in another state on the other side of the country that took hours for her to get to because of flight delays. Anyone with an ounce of common sense knows that if someone is threatening suicide, you get them immediate help or call 911, regardless if they are crying wolf or not. Also, people can use suicide threats as a form of manipulation. They threaten to harm themselves as a way to control and manipulate, and it can be used for attention-seeking reasons. I do think there is something definitely wrong with Cate mentally, but she is not honest about what is truly troubling her and she is not receiving the proper treatment for what is truly ailing her. I think she is one of those people who threatens suicide for altruistic reasons and manipulation. That in itself reeks of mental issues.
