  1. Did I hear that correctly? Carly (Ms. Self-reliant) *only* accepted taking the MetroCourt back for Jason and it giving him some sense of normality after so much change in his absence? What's wrong with just saying yes he offered and I took it.
  2. Be glad you muted it. Dr Obrecht was suddenly deserving to be family again. Willow was literally “Dr. Obr...Aunt Liesl!”🙄
  3. The way Teri fetishized her daughter’s looks were gross. If Brooke hadn’t been an attractive baby or child, she probably would have been pawned off and raised by other friends and family while Teri went out bar hopping.
  4. 🙄It was very stupid and lame. Carly has never been essential to any Nurses Ball. The single reason we had those scenes is to set up evil Nina being blamed, tarred, and feathered when brave heroine Carly🤢 along with Drew are inevitably turned in (by a surprise person) and arrested.
  5. Thank you. That was such a scripted dramatic fake end to the episode. How did more people not see through that??
  6. I don't think Kenya sees Brooklyn as any extension of herself at all. She saw her as what she thought was a loving result of a relationship hence naming her Brooklyn (where her parents met), & honoring her grandmother hence naming her Doris. Wondering did the intimacy has gone since Brooklyn's birth, in no way means the baby is some target of hatred for her now. Kenya did have a loving upbringing complete with extended family & siblings. She wasn't raised by rabid wolves.
  7. Other than their parents & that one trip to Roloff farm, I'm not sure how much exposure to other fellow Little People Will & Zoe have had. So far the focus has been ethnic involvement. Bill & Jen seem....a little alergic to the words Little People. Sure you could argue Little is in the the name of the show, but The Skeletal Dysplasia Couple just doesn't have marketable appeal lol.
  8. Up until 2016, when David & his wife's 1st son was born, Will & Zoe were the only grandchildren. However, In that moment I think Judy was just remembering her lingering fears over her daughter's road to motherhood. Judy has had concerns most of Jen's adult life over if she would ever create the family she (Jen) desired.
  9. I have been wondering why we never saw much if any of Terra's home life with the kids & Joe. It was always Terra out doing/going/screaming/arguing..but never any cute moments with either of the babies, just Terra screaming at Joe & her crying over the cancer scare.
  10. I believe Sam's birth year/month is May 1980 (per storyline), making her 37 this year. Nik is probably....2/3 years younger.
  11. Oddly, I found myself at different points in the episode going...these folks just had two major events going on (a death and a birth practically the same night), and no one is really reacting to them. Wouldn't Rhonda's death and the way she died, plus the birth of the Lyon baby with his ex/now new wife be big news for the media & tabloids? Instead of the family drama, & Rhonda's funeral, Lucious is "taking over Times Square & the jumbotron?? Even if they hold the funeral for episode 2, there should have been more reaction at least to her falling to her death. Andre's guilt was a foregone conclusion.
  12. Key & Peele just should have hosted...or whatever they were doing at that desk as themselves. That weird twitter hashtaggy hipster comedy routine they kept up all night was grating.
  13. All of the above scenes came off as clunky & unrealistic even in soapdom. A young woman with a job & is presumably at the beginning of her career isn't staying in town to "get to know" & "hang" with a middle schooler. Not with social media options out the ass these days. Had she went back to Atlanta & in a few weeks/months lost her job, and got invited back sure. Jax...really Jax...or should I say writers/blocking notes.Everyone knows when you are the fall guy/villain you go around the corner to take the phone call, not mere inches away. And I guess Morgan leaving his personal belongings randomly in the hallway was the only way Ava could take a few of his pills. I know this is Morgan and all, but if your prescribed meds are low...how about just refill it.... We were supposed to see that as an OMG AVA! moment, but the whole scenario is dumb.
  14. That would be one hell of a story, but it seems like the writers and network want us to continue seeing Sonny as a still fertile baby-making stud muffin romantic lead. Why they aren't ready for him to go full (more than one grandchild) grandpa just yet, idk, why not, with three grown kids it happens. Plus, I don't think at this point Maurice would mind. I swear the true drama and character driven aspects of these stories get left by the wayside. This show in particular goes out of its way to avoid them. It was completely cringe worthy when Carly was all "you settled for Julian (paraphrasing) because you couldn't have Sonny." I guess the entire point of the interaction was for Carly's little reaction there at the end, because honestly all Ava had to do was yes, go out and buy a temporary one at a big box store, or hell use Avery's old one. There was no reason it had to be the decorator's crib, or nothing at all. This show lives in a universe where options exist. Exactly, this story could have been wrapped up last damn fall, but I'm guessing they like the Sonny./Ava interaction so they keep this long dead story afloat with repetitive scenes and dialogue. It makes no sense why Avery isn't Morgan's daughter, that is a minefield of story. Imagine Morgan dealing with his bipolar disorder/new fatherhood & co-parenting with Ava/Sonny and Carly...being themselves/his general petulant assholery. That would actually add a new dimension to the Corinthos family that hasn't been there since...well since Ric showed up.
  15. Sorry show, not even Anna will get me behind this push to think of Duke & Sonny as underdog victims of Carlos. She can wail and screech about poor fatherless Griffin & those pesky sekret blood capsules on Carlos's bullet proof vest, It's all falling on deaf ears.
  16. Other than the writers and their fast paced piecemeal writing, what other litmus test are we using to measure this? Besides personal opinion on a prefered couple, all roads for Jason seemed to lead back to Sam. Wasn't there even his dreams during his last brain surgery where he pictured his life with Liz,Carly, and Sam? Each dream had different variables and outcomes between Jason and the women.
  17. Yet, somehow Sam having a heart to heart with her college aged sister or helping to get her husband cleared from his potential murder charge isn’t classic soap, and she’s the pathetic one…. Oh those damn 30 second clips of Sam scaling the walls of Jason’s colon while probably streaming emo/goth music on her iPhone.
  18. I thought I saw something about the "Grant & Moore families" under all that swirly cursive writing lol. The tee shirts were harmless (though that bright pink was obnoxious for my tastes). They made since being that Kenya was hosting the reunion, and we know how extra Kenya can be lol. Other than the color, I thought the shirts were rather tame than what Kenya usually comes up with. Lmao! Goodwill is filled with old family reunion tee shirt/jacket castoffs
  19. Eh, as an outsider (neutral perspective) I'd say the characters more than "just fit." Going back to the Guza/Pratt era, Jason gave Sam stability, protection, and love for the first time in her life, she brought him acceptance, spontaneity, a desire for a family, encouraged him to reconnect with Monica, and helped him figure out what he valued beyond the confines of Port Charles, (isn't this how Hawaii became a favorite spot for them?) Even way back in 2005/6 I'd say she challenged him without judging him, his brain issues, lifestyle choices, or his ..ahem career. Sam also was never afraid of him, wasn't afraid to disagree, or rock the boat. Jason could push, Sam would push back harder. He would try and get grumpy with her, she'd tease/rib him into laughing about himself. When the writing was decent, Jason & Sam complimented each other quite nicely.
  20. It can’t be that simple, especially with Aunt Lori having always been in the picture and her being Patricia’s big sister, the possibility of having a sit down with both of them (Lori/Pat) has been a real prospect for Kenya that she could never give up on. Aunt Lori has put herself in the middle of this for over 40 years when she continued to have a relationship with newborn, toddler, child, teen, and adult Kenya. As far as her address, perhaps Carlos King & his crew tracked that down for Kenya. Exactly, the muddy waters in this situation formed when Kenya was still in diapers. This wasn’t an adoption, this was a “if we ignore the issues maybe they will go away” situation. Patricia has seemingly had 40+ years of this attitude, & now can’t & won’t break the habit. Lori doesn’t want to rock the boat with either Kenya or Pat, and Kenya rightfully just wants some damn answers. Thankfully her dad did drop her some tidbits about the Moore grandparents, but they just caused more questions than answers.
  21. I see the #Fallinlovewithsonnyandcarly campaign continues along with Sonny's new role as the wise sage in a wheelchair. I guess they feel if Sonny grows a beard and keeps spouting lame ass advice and platitudes (and Carly accepting them from Robin no less) with tears in their eyes, the audience will accept their new roles as the tent pole couple to represent Port Charles. With that out of the way, I loved the Scrubs flashbacks, and during that last scene I couldn't help but notice how it reminded me of Dwayne and Whitley leaving on A Different World lol.
  22. And that's where it begins and ends for me and many others. Anything else comes off like Glen is being excused and given a break. "Glen was awful and did such and such, but Kenya...." Anything that comes after that gives Glen a pass, and implies Kenya had it coming, or was responsible for Glen coming at her. I'm not a Kenya fan, but I can't use nor hold any drama she's done on this show as a rationale for Glen's dirty dangerous behavior, or Phaedra, Sheree, & especially Kim being obtuse when she was present for his over the top reaction to Kandi simply saying "Thank You" to him. Interestingly enough Kandi didn't use Kenya's attitude/ego against her; she was relieved and validated that someone else felt the same about Glen. She won’t have to do much if at all any painting or drawing for that matter. We witnessed him treat her, and talk about the other women deplorably. I don't see why Kenya being hated on this show, or way out in Mars has anything to do with Glen & his misogynistic violent behavior? No one is calling for Kenya to receive the key to the city of Atlanta, but to downplay it like it was no big deal is almost as bad.
  23. How about if we're going to hold Sam's actions/relationship/hot but memories with Lucky against her, it's only fair to remember the drama between Liz & BOTH of Laura's sons, complete with a "who's the daddy?!" caper between the brothers. Laura shouldn't have any allegiance to either Sam or Liz if we go by past events. Laura should be on the side that's honest and upfront. Love it or hate it, that means being honest & upfront with Sam.
  24. My heart dropped when I read the news. Rest in peace you magnificent actor. I loved, hated, loved to hate, and then loved Adam Chandler all over again, thanks to David’s immeasurable talent. He will be so missed! RIP & thank you Mr. Canary <3
