Today shall now be known as the day I was able to befriend a little lizard and he was happy to just chilling on my arm. To the point where it was hard to get it to go back into the real world when I needed my hand back.

I LOVE the Dharma stuff KoB.. my ipad (the old one) has a Dharma Swan sticker covering the apple logo :D I have an Orchid sticker that I'll be putting on the new one probably. That Dharma season was probably my favourite of the lot! I haven't got the new ipad yet, it hasn't even been shipped! :'( I'm sure it will be beautiful though and hopefully as sturdy as my old one - it took a trip down the stairs once without getting scratched but put a hole in my wall...

That's because the internet knows that Veronica Mars is awesome :D I think the same goes for LOST. Most people I know say "ugh, Lost" if I mention it but it's very popular on the internet and I used to love the TWOP forums for it. All that top 10 list says to me is that the average person watches crap tv :P I actually don't mod too many popular forums, they're mostly more active cancelled shows (as with The Office!) or on break (as with Rick and Morty - go watch it!). I pop into (because I watch) things like Doctor Who, Daredevil (and most netflix shows) and they are quite popular but not to the crazy level of something like Arrow. I believe that 19 Kids show was crazy! and also The Amazing Race seems to get a lot of visits.. plus Game of Thrones has the most mods of a show of all I believe. In other news, this happened in my city the other day: Apparently it is deemed not suspicious, although I don't know how a ute filled with jerry cans happening to catch fire could be considered anything but suspicious. we also had this happen recently too... why would you try and still a dog wash! Whaaat. I also bought a new ipad today (online, so I don't actually have it) to replace my 4y/o and some more embroidery thread for my cross stitch.. anyone do cross stitch? I recently picked it up and like doing little pixel type things and such.

I'd have to agree. When I thought of Billie Piper back then this is what sprang to mind: Perhaps well known but not really for the right reasons.

From what I hear in the mod world, Arrow is one hell of a crazy show forum and they get a lot of likes (and I'm sure dislikes if it were possible) and well, I never want to look at that forum because it sounds scary :P

For some reason all this time I've been thinking the green post was actually the thread went green when it got enough views/replies. I didn't realise it was individual posts with lots of likes.. I'm really a good mod, trust me. I'll ban you if you don't :P I really hope this was on purpose.. or maybe it is better if it wasn't. I also wonder this specific topic made @ClareWalks de-lurk.. what other things could we talk about that get lurkers passionate enough to post something? I did indeed. I spent $40 on that, I was definitely going :P money is an excellent motivator to make me go do something.. I'm going to this Experiential Dinner which is run by the same company next week. The workshop was good, I have been trying to put more thought into what I'm eating and not just go off the handle and eat whatever the hell I want whenever.. granted I ate a kitkat and some popcorn when I got home in celebration of it being the weekend. She did say that we need to consider what are true celebrations to reward with food and which aren't. This probably wouldn't be one of those occasions. I did, however, manage to resist the burger cravings at lunch and go with the original plan of a salad. That's also reason to celebrate right?

Oh sneezing would be terrible. You'll be ok @Pixelit's all temporary :) Maybe it's like how they say when you have kids you forget how much it hurts - I'm not willing to take that risk myself. And at the moment it is 12C/53F this morning I went out to catch the bus it was 0C/32F so, cold enough :D

oh no! Hiccups must be the worst, ouch! I am going to a workshop on emotional eating tonight but right now I sort of just want to lounge around and do nothing. Oh well.. out into the cold I go, soon.

It is a bit hard to navigate at the moment. I'm really missing the 'my shows' how it used to be. I know the team are working on getting that back up and running!

If we're just going to assume Moffat's team won't do a historic companion because "history is hard" wouldn't a companion of the future (or alien species) be something right up their alley? They can just make everything up to suit them! They already do that so it would be super easy.

It is indeed quite a change. I haven't quite gotten used to the change in 'my shows' and how the hell do I sort that by most recently posted in. I'll see what I can find out for you about popularity @possibilities I do love that the mentions are back :)

Given both Amy and Clara were mysteries for 11 perhaps we can write it off as 11 wanting to solve the mystery where maybe none existed.

I'm a professional woman and if the doctor turned up on my door step and asked me to run away through time and space with him there is no way I would turn that down. I would bring my boyfriend along though because I'm sure he'd love that too.

I guess it is too much to hope for someone that isn't from London and isn't a woman. While I'm hoping she is from the past (even if it isn't the quite modern past), they also gave that impression with Clara's first episode and then she was just another modern day young 20's British female companion. I think this would have been great. Maybe one day.

I'm not sure my boobs ever sat perky Pixel. The curse of the large boobs.. like you said, hurray for good bras! :D Do we know what happened in relation to Prince yet? I was pretty saddened to see a reputable news place here quoting TMZ about what had happened.. because TMZ always has the facts right and isn't a bunch of trash.

So, I shouldn't mention the story that happened at work today? I am though. So this afternoon one of the guys gets a work from one of his kids (15 year old) and the side of the convo I could hear was "what? What did you do? .... What did you do?" and then a pause and a few mumbles and the word bobcat. I'm at my desk thinking "oh shit, someone is in trouble!" It turns out the full story is that the son had been given permission to have some friends around today under strict rules they stay in the house and DON'T USE THE BOBCAT! so, being teenage boys (and at least one girl) OF COURSE they went and had some fun on the bobcat, which is apparently an ATV and looks something like this: Who wouldn't want to go riding around on the property with that, am I right? So, for whatever reason, they're riding around near one of their dams and they get the thing bogged! Uh-Oh, Dad is not going to be pleased about this.. what can they do? The solution is obviously to go get the ute and some straps and pull it out right? right! So off they go and come back but, being inexperienced at these matters, they didn't get the right type of straps and while trying to get the ATV unstuck one of the straps breaks and hits the son's girlfriend in the face! Does the son call Dad asking for help in this situation? Of course not, that is the last resort! He calls his older sister and asks her to come get them and she did and took them to the hospital where his girlfriend needed 5 stitches. THEN he called Dad after, I'm guessing, realising that he was in the shit no matter what he did at this point. And while I'm glad nothing more serious happened I couldn't help but giggle and be happy that I don't have kids to deal with! Also, they make you pay $7k to put your own fat back into your body? That's crazy!

Ah banks, so dodgy. Recently my home loan went from fixed interest to variable. Once it went to variable I checked the interest rate and noticed it was pretty high in comparison to other rates around at the moment. I contacted my bank asking why that was and they let me know that without any restrictions I could lower it so then I had even more questions. Why was it so easy just to lower the interest? It turns out the amount it went to is what the variable rate would have been at the time I started the loan and rather than set it to the new, lower, interest rate they leave it there. I have to assume if interest rates had gone up they'd be pretty quick to change it to a higher rate.

I really enjoyed the recaps at twop too, I can't remember remember who wrote the ones I read. My favourite ones were definitely LOST because the recap and other forum members would find things I hadn't even thought of! It was really great for that type of show.
