  1. Lol no, I mean as in the current craze of adults doing colouring in :D I put it in quotations as in a sort of adult but anyone really :D
  2. Not sure if this is 'in the media' but a Doctor Who 'Adults' Colouring book is being released. The front cover looks neat, it would be great to see what is inside, I think the Doctor Who Universe could allow for some great patterns and scenes. Cover: I might need more blue pencils :D
  3. I liked the beginning and wondered how they were going to get out of that handmine situation! And then... the story started to go down hill.. I mean really, why would UNIT ask for Clara's help, what does she have to offer? Obviously it was made to seem like she is important but the team at UNIT would have been able to unravel it all, they have known the doctor a while too. I did like Missy being the 'closest friend' and not Clara, at least there was that. I would have thought it would have gone to Rose or River and would have loved it if went to the doctors best mate Donna but oh well. I'm also glad it was Missy who worked out the gravity thing and that The Doctor told her about it and it wasn't Clara's fantastic idea. Overall, I actually enjoyed Missy this episode which is unusual because I didn't particularly like her at all last season. And I liked 12 for the most part, I liked the lighter Capaldi (even if it was because he thought he was going to die) and hope he's less of a grump for the coming season.
  4. I'm assuming you're seeing stuff with people eating raw onions? For some reason Tony twice ate raw onions on tv.. no one really knows why. And KoB, I've never had a Tumblr account, I don't really understand its purpose.. to me it is similar to Pinterest but the target audiences are different.
  5. For some reason Milky Way's are different over here. Essentially a Mars Bar but without the caramel.
  6. Haha, why didn't you like anything KoB?? It's not an 'School group cert" it's an "old school group cert" :P I'm not sure what the equivalent is called over there, it's a 'group certificate' and we get them at the end of the financial year (financial year being 1 July - 30 June) from our jobs and it has our income info from the previous year on it. So we can lodge our tax I'm also not sure what is Korean about Korean Fried Chicken :P but apparently it is a thing. Apparently prepared in a Korean Style. The Cadbury spread is similar to nutella but it basically tastes like gooey chocolate and it has little soft cookie crumble, it's pretty amazing. I like it most just out of the jar but I did put it on some puff pastry on the weekend and put it in the oven :D mmm! Oh and it's not a Mars Bar, it's a Mars Bar slice :) Basically Rice Bubbles (Rice Krispies?) covered in melted mars bar and a bunch of butter. Our Mars Bars look like: Potentially like a Milky Way over there? So, not sure if it's spread all over but we have a new prime minister! YAY! No more this guy:
  7. Old Rick, ruining everything! Loved the guest starring of Jim Rash and Alex Hirsch. Also Redditors are taking this as a Bill from Gravity Falls appearance, not sure I'm convinced:
  8. Last night the guy and I went out and did our first stint of Astrophotography. We didn't go out that far and had a fair amount of light pollution but some of the photos turned decent, this being one of my favourites: A few more are on my instagram if anyone wants to look.
  9. YAY! Some emmy love is awesome!
  10. I feel that way about Sundays because it means I have to go back to work on Monday :P
  11. I voted for Spring. I know how you feel KoB, I don't usually get that way at the end of summer, for me it's more of a July - August thing (hint: that's winter here) where I'm fed up with being cold and needing 3 layers of clothing and it being dark when I get home at 5PM. Late August/September here is when it finally starts to warm up and the sun stays out a bit longer. This week I went out at lunch and didn't have to wear my coat, it makes me feel a lot more free to move.
  12. Much better than last week. I loved the micro/mini/teeny-verse stuff and how they seemed oblivious (initially) that their idea had been Rick's. Poor scientist guy, he seemed nice, as well as their white blob universe.
  13. I wondered about Kevin From Work.. I only know about it because I happen to follow Jordan (Roxie) on Instagram.. I found her randomly months ago and then she started putting photos up from the show. I still hadn't convinced myself it was worth watching though :P For me, my 'unusual' shows are usually animated. Not many people I know have watched Gravity Falls or Rick And Morty and many haven't heard of Penny Dreadful. Currently I'm not watching anything else that is airing right now. I will probably start Mr Robot once the season has finished though.
  14. This, to me, is what makes the show what it is. I can't imagine Arrested Development with out the chicken dances, or the 'her?' references or the candy beans or the corn baller 'issues' or the 'lessons' (especially the lessons and the chicken dances). I was watching a video on youtube the other week when Kevin Spacey was with Jimmy Fallon and there was a bit that had Mae Whitman and someone made a comment about how she was in Arrested Development and all the replies were stuff like "her?" "egg?" "bland?" which to me, is the greatness of the fans of Arrested Development, we're all in on the joke and like to use them as much as possible. And the narration! I love it, especially when he contradicts pretty much everything Gob says. I like the next time on stuff where none of it actually happens, I like how in season 3 he was plugging the show nearly every episode. These are definitely some of my favourite parts of the show, to the point where I don't know how you can like Arrested Development and not like them, they are so much of what the show is. I also like how the family interacts with each other, and although they're all terrible people I really enjoy them all. If anything I like George Snr the least because he is just so terrible to Michael. I also really like Michael with Marta and couldn't believe she'd be with Gob. I would definitely choose hermano. :P And to end:
  15. Have we ever found out why Gideon is the way he is? I can't recall if there was a time before he knew about Bill and the journals that he was just a normal kid.
  16. I'm not a facebook friend either but I voted, hah! I went with turn it off, I'm not sure why you would keep it on if you have the windows open?
  17. *fangirling* !! I didn't even notice at all! I feel like I need to go watch his parts again. I think Tad was my favourite part of this episode. Maybe he had just hypnotised everyone with the Glow Cloud into thinking he was normal, too normal. Overall, I found this episode meh. This season was meant to be heavily focused on Bill but we're only possibly seeing him half way through? And with Gideon again.. I really cannot stand Gideon so I would have been happy for him to have just disappeared without explanation... I know, it was never going to happen but one can hope. I wish we had more Ford, there was so much build up to the author and now he's here! and... Stan is jealous and that's about it. :(
  18. Time to get Schwifty! I don't think I liked this episode as much as the others this season but it was still decent. I wish I had the new Summer cooking dinner for me every night.
  19. Maybe it's just a thing with long running tv shows. The characters get type cast into their roles and find it difficult to move on. It seems like the case for Buffy/Angel as well with David Boreanaz and Alyson Hannigan being the only ones that really had successful new shows after it.
  20. wow, that all makes me head spin. I have to say I don't envy you as parents having to work all that out. The sunflowers are amazing! Do you use them for anything? I planted some sunflower seeds last year and only 1 survived.. I didn't realise I'd bought giant sunflowers and my one flower got to taller than 2metres and had a massive flower.
  21. I also have no children but the terms seem to be somewhat the same, we used to have PE in summer too. Most schools go back in the first week of Feb which is quite hot here.. I remember the gross days of catching the bus home and sticking (and sweating) to the cheap vinyl seats. PE was always outside for us other than a few weeks in winter where we had to do dancing which everyone really loved. I can't stand vegemite :P So no I won't be saying that :D Most of the so called Australian things I don't particularly like.. with the exception of beetroot and egg on burgers :D
  22. I don't understand why it fluctuates so much from school to school? Over here it might be one weeks difference between states (some states start/finish their holidays a week earlier/later) but we generally don't have to worry about snow days calculation. We have 4 terms of roughly 8 - 10 weeks each, 3 sets of 2 week holidays and 1 set of 6 weeks over christmas/new years/summer and generally this information is available 12 months in advance.. e.g. I could look up when the school year in February 2016 starts now online if I wanted. Sounds much less complicated than over there.
  23. Yes! I'm really not sure how it ended up out here as a franchise but am glad it did: http://goodberrys.com.au/is ours. Only 2 locations in Australia and both are in my city.. The Belconnen one is about a 2min walk from my work.
  24. Today I was watching an episode of That 70's Show and I thought "... is that Pam?" and it was! It must have been shortly before she started on The Office:
  25. Oh yeah.. that whole 'wanting to escape' thing. It seemed like, even when threatened, they still couldn't make bad memories so even if you lived in a world infested with them, you'd still probably feel happy even if you never knew what was real any more.. but you would believe everything you felt so it wouldn't matter.
