  1. The whole "Natalie" bit and the way he treated Maggie in general add enough tallies in the a-hole column for me. Governor ruled by intimidation/ misinformation. Deanna governed by consensus and principle. Gregory may lead by arrogance. Really, a blazer in the ZA?
  2. We'll see how things play out going forward, but I think there was at least a little bit of puffing themselves up as a sales pitch to Jesus and Gregory, like, "Oh, yeah. Confrontation is our thang. We totally got this (but we'll figure out how later ...) Now do we have a deal?" Really, it's all those book-club-is-more-important-than-crops Alexandrians' fault. If they'd planted crops and rounded up livestock long ago, CDB & Co. wouldn't be on the verge of roadkill and acorn suppers.
  3. That was the conversation between Rick and Carl, and I think Tara and Heath would be off on their supply run -- but really - Carol stayed as well as Rosita, Aaron, Morgan, Eric, Gabriel, Tobin, Eugene and others. Not the A Team, for sure, but enough to hold off a minor threat.
  4. I know! They ought to ask if the Hilltop has any scuba supplies so they could dive to try to salvage at least the stuff in cans. Hell - the toothpaste should be in waterproof containers - start diving crew!
  5. Rick feels like he's back on the road with the Claimers again. He gets a taste for blood once and goes for the jugular again.
  6. "Oh! Jesus!" I said when Rick pulled that knife. And I didn't mean the guy with the bad hair.
  7. Wow! That looks like a shorter cameo than expected from Xander Berkeley.
  8. And by "You all go get cleaned up." he means mostly Daryl.
  9. "Waiting until your mom and dad get dressed" I guess the cat's out of the bag for telling Carl about Richonne.
  10. They're from Georgia so they must be big R.E.M. fans.
  11. I'm hoping that the title is a typo and we'll learn that Jesus is part of the group, "Knotts Unite!," who are all descendants of Don Knotts who have survived the ZA with Don's trademark humor, plus apparently some hand-to-hand combat skills.
  12. Here's the TVGuide listing for tonight's episode: Suddenly, I'm much more intrigued about what Jesus is going to reveal. What say you?
  13. Oh! Tom Cruise running! It seems to have evolved from gangly kid to a totally upright, tight arms, must-look-macho-at-all-costs sprint. So funny! Topic? How was Jesus so spry wearing that long leather coat? Who does he think he is? Blade? Spike? Eugene has the best run. I demand to see it more often! How about a footrace with Jesus?
  14. I'm so used to being on this board to talk about this show that I had forgotten how maybe a more casual viewer might not notice or get elements and how that might color their view of events or characters' interactions. I clicked on the comments on a Facebook post about Rick/Michonne by the official TWD page a few days ago. One of the top comments was by someone who said that the final scene between them didn't make sense because Rick had been into Jessie "who just died last week." I (unspoiled) will guess that the Rick/Michonne scene couldn't fit in until next week's episode due to other plots, but a side effect is that there was no buffer episode between Jessie's death and the beginnings of Richonne, and the line or two about weeks passing and the mention on TTD about it being two-ish months could easily not be heard or seen and those viewers end up thinking that Rick is on the rebound. What the show showed worked for me - the no longer wearing the wearing ring, the close, familiar interactions, the indication that time had passed, the long buildup of the a-romantic importance of Rick and Michonne to each other. I guess some people needed a complete "Previously on SOAP" montage to get where Richonne came from.
  15. Yeah, that's my read too. I can't imagine that anyone with Denise's energy was a part of or a guest at the Dixon house often if at all. He's not so demonstrative and he probably finds her perfectly nice but overwhelming.
  16. Am I the last on one earth to realize that Corey Hawkins (Heath) is Dr. Dre in Straight Outta Compton?
  17. I feel quite irrationally sad that they may not know when Judith's birthday is. Hopefully she'll live to see it and have a cake decorated with acorn designs. All birthdays have probably fallen by the wayside, but the first is most special.
  18. I just returned from the wikia. By their approximation, she should be about 306 days - so you're right - about 10 mos. it's really crazy how much has happened in those months.
  19. I don't think they've ever specified her age on the show. As a result, the show can be vague about where she might be at developmentally. But you're right that if she's 10 mos, she shouldn't be expected to walk yet... unless the acorns gave her superpowers.
  20. I thought the chuckle about Judith on the baby monitor had to refer to learning to walk -because she was kind of stepping in her sleep - and Michonne said that she was "practicing in her sleep". Otherwise, I agree that the writers don't know what to do with her, although I know that child labor laws might really limit Judith's appearances in scenes given all the other scheduling factors they deal with.
  21. I'm only guessing with Gabriel, but based on his attitude of disgust and disapproval of the CDB group, I'm guessing he would have tried to find a separate space for himself. I'm interested to see how he'll interact with Jesus and anyone else from a new group now that he has at least embraced walker killer as a necessity.
  22. I'd guess it's immaterial now, but I think Noah was in Glenn and Maggie house. They had taken him under their wing. Tara may be bunking with Denise now. And I wonder if Gabriel stays in whichever building his church is in.
  23. I think showing the morning with Michonne in a robe was to start the episode with a reminder of how much she's a full member of the household - she's not a guest - she's not a roommate - she's just part of the family with Rick and the kids like it's totally normal because it was totally normal. And that normalcy got cemented, shall we say, in a new way at the end of the episode, but they began forming a unit back at the prison and continued on the road to Terminus, and at every point since then.
