  1. I'm way too tense. May need to channelhop and see how Lady Edith's engagement is going.
  2. Damnit, show! My kids are sleeping. I can't be guffawing at Rick punching the Gregory head!
  3. A human kill journal? Carol is so going to die this season. Damn. Damn, Damn
  4. WTH, Morgan?!? DId you listen to "We Are the World" one too many times?
  5. A cookie for Sam, damn, show. I didn't know beets and acorns could choke me up.
  6. Tons of screen time for Carol? That doesn't bode well for her. And that song had a line about flowers! I'm feeling a screentime-of-doom issue.
  7. I remember feeling like JB was trying waaaaaaaaaaaay too hard and was too manic. If he tones down his energy a notch or seven and keeps his comments on topic, he should be OK.
  8. Birds, bees, and pancakes
  9. I'm pretty sure that it was Gimple - if not, then Nicotero or Kirkman - who said that Negan won't appear until this season's finale, and it was mentioned during the press blitz before the 2nd half started where everyone associated with the show said how devastating this season's finale is. Not sure how many eps are remaining. Is it 5 counting Sunday's? So maybe there will be a more minor death within the next couple of episodes (e.g., Rosita, Sasha, or Abraham) and then a major one in the finale (e.g., Maggie killed in front of Glenn or vice versa). I agree that the MiGrimes family is safest of opening credits characters. Maybe Carol isn't as safe as she previously seemed. She had her moment of philosophical doubt in her conflict with Morgan. What if they pull her back toward the center - make her show more grief or regret for some of those she's killed or at least for some of the things she's said? After that where would her character have to go?
  10. Damnit! I have TWD as one of my "interests" on Google News and I saw a somewhat spoilery headline (stated a plot point but not who). Damn you indiscriminate algorithms!
  11. Damnit! I guess I gave myself amnesia for the shooting and eating.
  12. The only dogs I recall on TWD were the ones they encountered when on the road before Alexandria that they didn't eat. Camp Dinner Bell actually didn't ring that bell and didn't do wrong by those animals.
  13. The Termites had some plants in containers, at least, going for sort of an Argentinian asado restaurant diet: heavy on the meat, plus a side salad. I suppose it would be too much realism to have our characters displaying various symptoms of vitamin deficiency. And, for the record, I think I'd be the Olivia of the ZA.
  14. Time to find a Campbell's soup factory to raid.
  15. Fire-engine red! Was your dad Satan? :-D I find myself increasingly annoyed with the Alexandrians for not having container gardens, at least, and a community garden. I could see running low - maybe from walkers trampling the garden during the big breech - but nothing? 16. Just watched the previews on AMC.com, we see Rick speaking in the church, pitching the idea to go after the Saviors, and he says that if someone disagrees, now's the time to speak up. Then in the other clip, we unsurprisingly see Morgan standing. Of note on the road are Carol, Gabriel, Rick, Maggie, Sasha, Michonne, Aaron, Heath, Glenn, Maggie, Rosita, and Daryl. Those are the only ones I can see for sure, but there are probably others, and I wouldn't be surprised if someone red-shirty was lost on this mission, raising the stakes for the crew but not racheted up much for the audience yet.
  17. Ross Marquand (Aaron) did an Academy Awards-based blitz of impersonations on Jimmy Kimmel Live.
  18. Yeah, I feel nitpicky for saying so, but when she was telling Gregory about the "tomatoes and cucumbers," it sounded off.
  19. I agree - or maybe they were kept alive for Negan's guys to use and abuse - but one way or another, I think we'll see a reunion between Daryl and his one true love, Crossbow, before the end of the season. And I agree with those who are asserting that Daryl said, "You think shit's settled?" -- Daryl's way of saying, "I ain't got time for this relationship bullshit."
  20. In fairness to Lori (did I just type that?), do we have evidence that she was generally a bad driver or just horrifically bad on one occasion? Although if there had still been cell phones, I'm betting she would have texted while driving.
  21. Seems quite plausible that Negan and co., who've obviously been terrorizing them for awhile, took out some of the likely resistance, as a show of strength and to keep them docile.
  22. If I recall correctly, Daryl only said, "She's not here." To refer to the cookie baker I took that as "don't even think about involving my heretofore platonic girl, Jesus."
  23. The show hasn't been specific, but I'm guessing she's probably meant to still be fairly early maybe 7 weeks, by which time - if they're going for some degree of authenticity - there'd be a bean-ish little blob on the ultrasound. And although sex differentiation begins to occur when you said, last I heard (my kids aren't babies anymore) it's not until more like week 14 that there's any chance - and requiring a very good view - of being able to make a good guess from an ultrasound, and it's a few more weeks after that the boy or girl guess becomes pretty reliable.
